Safety Warnings
For your continued safety and to reduce the risk of injury or electric shock,
please follow all the safety precautions listed below.
• Read all instructions carefully before using the unit and keep them for
future reference.
• Retain the manual. If you pass the unit onto a third party, make sure to
include this manual.
• This appliance is intended for indoor household use and similar
applications such as:
• farm houses and by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type
environments;
• bed and breakfast type environments;
• catering and similar non-retail applications.
• Ensure that the plug is easily accessible to enable disconnection from
the mains supply.
• Keep ventilation openings in the unit enclosure clear of obstructions.
• Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate
the defrosting process, other than those recommended by the
manufacturer.
• Do not use electrical appliances inside the food storage compartments
of the unit, unless they are of the type recommended by the
manufacturer.
• If the mains cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer,
its service agent or a qualied technician in order to avoid a hazard.
• Choose a location for your unit away from heat sources such as radiators
or res as refrigerant and vesicant are burnable.
• Do not damage the refrigerant circuit (The refrigerant is a very
environmentally friendly gas but is also combustible. Take care when
transporting or moving the unit to ensure that the refrigeration circuit
is not damaged. In the event of damage avoid naked ames or ignition
sources and ventilate the room in which the unit is placed for a few
minutes.)
• The unit must be manoeuvred by a minimum of 2 persons.

• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above
and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or
lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the
appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children without supervision.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
unit.
• If your unit is tted with a lock to prevent children being trapped inside,
keep the key out of reach and not in the vicinity of the unit.
• Do not store volatile or ammable substances, such as aerosol cans with
a ammable propellant, in the unit.
• Do not store bottles or glass containers in the freezer compartment.
Contents can expand when frozen (zzy drinks) which may break the
bottle and damage your freezer compartment.

Remove all items from the packaging. Retain the packaging. If you dispose of it please do so
according to local regulations.

Thank you for purchasing your new Currys Fridge Freezer.
We recommend that you spend some time reading this instruction manual in order that you
fully understand all the operational features it offers. You will also find some hints and tips to
help you resolve any issues.
Read all the safety instructions carefully before use and keep this instruction manual for future

Location
When selecting a position for your unit you should make sure the floor is flat and firm, and
the room is well ventilated with an average room temperature of between 16°C and 38°C.
Avoid locating your unit near a heat source, e.g. cooker, boiler or radiator. Also avoid direct
sunlight as it may increase the electrical consumption. Extreme cold ambient temperatures
may also cause the unit not to perform properly. This unit is not designed for use in a garage
or outdoor installation. Do not drape the unit with any covering.
Levelling the Unit
To do this adjust the two levelling feet at the front of the unit.
If the unit is not level, the doors and magnetic seal alignments
will not be covered properly.
Free Space Requirements
When installing the unit, ensure that 30 mm
of free space is left at both sides, 50 mm at
the rear of the unit and 30 mm at the top
of the unit. The door can be opened to the
right or the left, depending on which best
suits the location. Please ensure there is
adequate space for the door to fully open to
160°.

2. Unscrew the middle hinge. And then lift
the lower door and place it on a padded
surface to prevent it from scratching. Fix
the right-hand bracket back into position.
1. Unscrew the top hinge that holds the
door in place. Lift the upper door and
place it on a padded surface to prevent it
from scratching.
3. Move the bottom hinge from the right
side to the opposite side. Re-fit the
bottom door.
Reversing the Door Swing
Tools required: Philips style screwdriver / Flat bladed screwdriver / Hexagonal spanner
• Ensure the unit is unplugged and empty.
• To take the door off it is necessary to tilt the unit backwards. You should rest the unit on
something solid, e.g. a chair just below the top panel.
• All parts removed must be saved to do the reinstallation of the door.
• Do not lay the unit flat as this may damage the coolant system.
• We recommend that 2 people handle the unit during assembly.
• If you want to have the door swing reversed, we recommend that you contact a qualified
technician. You should only try to reverse the door yourself if you believe that you are
qualified to do so.

4. Re-fit the middle hinge on the left side.
Then clip on the bracket cover (to the
right hand side) and test that the cover
does not interfere with the opening and
closing of the door.
Ensure the freezer door is aligned
horizontally and vertically, so that the
seals are closed on all sides before finally
tightening the middle hinge.
5. Re-fit the upper door. Then, re-fit the top
hinge on the left side. Ensure the fridge
door is aligned horizontally and vertically
so that the seals are closed on all sides
before finally tightening the top hinge.
6. Use a spanner (not included) to tighten
the top hinge if necessary.
7. With the doors closed, check that the
doors are aligned horizontally and
vertically and that the seals are closed on
all sides before unclipping the bracket
cover.
Ensure the bracket cover is removed
before installing into any cabinetry.

Installing the Unit into Cabinetry
1. Ensure the size of the cabinetry chosen is adequate for the unit.
2. Slowly and carefully push the unit into
the cabinetry. Ensure that the opening
side is as close to the cabinetry wall as
possible.

3. Insert the rubber strip between the
opening side of the unit and the
cabinetry wall. Open and close the door
to ensure the rubber strip does not
interfere with this operation.

2. Position the slider 20mm from the
aesthetic door’s edge. Mark the screw
holes.
3. Remove the door guide from the unit
door.
4. Repeat Steps (2) and (3) for the
remaining door guides.
5. Fix the slider to the aesthetic doors. Then
fit the slider cover onto the slider. Repeat
this for all remaining sliders.
6. Fully open the unit door. Line the
aesthetic door up against the unit door.
Slip the door guide onto the upper an
lower sliders until the door guides meet
the unit door.
Mounting the Cabinet Door
1. Fit the door guides to the unit doors.
Insert the sliders into the guides, then
fully open the unit’s upper door.
