Introduction
This appliance is supplied as a complete suite of enclosure of gas fire
burner unit, enclosure and fascia. To comply with the approval this fire
must be installed as designed.
The fascia must be installed as intended and ventilation to the burner must
be provided. Special notice should be taken for the requirements of both
the metal and stone fascia versions as the enclosure must be installed
differently.
The fire is supplied with a gather to attach the enclosure to a 200mm Flue
Liner. This must be fitted with the appliance. Failure to use the gather
provided will invalidate the warranty.
This is a high power appliance and a steady gas supply within +/- 1mBar of
the approved pressure must be maintained at all times. Inlet is via an 8mm
gas line. If the gas line is longer than 1.5mtrs then the gas line should be
increased in diameter to 15mm and possibly larger depending on the
length of gas pipe required.
LPG Version. If running n Gas Bottles two 47Kg bottles with regulator and
changeover valve will be required. Failure to do this will result in nuisance
shutdowns.
This appliance requires a 240v 3A fused spur next to the appliance and
within easy access of the user.
Flue System & Ventilation
As this is a “double sided” appliance with an opening on both sides of the
appliance extreme care must be taken to ensure the flue system used is
sufficient to provide the correct draw and avoid spillage.
It is likely a “fan flue system” will be required, a site survey by a flue
specialist s recommended before installing the appliance.
The appliance must not be installed in the same room as an air
conditioning unit or ceiling fans. The appliance requires a minimum of
100cm2 free air room ventilation inline with building and local regulations.
