WARNINGS BEFORE YOU BEGIN
Do not turn off your Cybiko for more than 24 hours if you have
already started to play CyLandia or Lost in Labyrinth. Turning off
the system will affect your Cy-B and your CyBerg.
NOTE: It is necessary to fully charge your high capacity batteries
before you begin using your Cybiko (see Recharging Batteries
section).
Do not leave the device charging for more than 15 hours or damage
will occur to the high-capacity batteries. Refer to Recharging
Battery section.
How To Switch Off Your Cybiko
Note: Before turning off your Cybiko, read Warnings Before You Begin
.
To switch off your Cybiko, you must:
1.Open the main Desktop by pressing the [F1] button (far left
button on the Short-cut Bar).
2. Move the focus to the Shutdown icon.
3. Press Enter.
41.Leave current application using <ESC> for Desktop Wait for
several seconds until the screen becomes blank.
52. Turn off your Cybiko by moving the ON/OFF button upward.
When Cybiko is off, the real-time clock is still working, but your
Cybiko will not receive or send any messages. When you turn on
the device again, all the program settings, games status and files
will be recovered.
RECHARGING BATTERIES
With fully charged batteries, your Cybiko will last 3 to 8 10 hours in an
active mode such as Chat or Lost in Labyrinth, or 1 to 3 days in passive
mode such as calculator, or clocks. The most power-consuming operations
are Interactive Games, Vibration Alert and RF Transmission.
To recharge the batteries on your Cybiko:
1. Turn on your Cybiko. You must leave it on ON while recharging
your batteries.
2. Plug the charging adaptor into your Cybiko.
3. Plug the wall charger into a wall outlet.

20
In case of complete discharge Yyour high-capacity batteries will be
completely recharged in 8 10 hours. It is best to recharge batteries
overnight. When the batteries are fully recharged, the charging process will
be automatically terminated.
Note: You may also charge the device keeping it in OFF mode, but
in this case the charging process will not be automatically
terminated. Do not leave the device charging for more than 15
hours or potential damage to the batteries can occur.
Note: If you continue to use your Cybiko during the recharging
process the batteries may take longer than 8 10 hours to fully
recharge.
POWER SAVER MODE
Cybiko automatically goes to a Power Saver mode when it is not in use. In
Power Saver mode:
•The screen is cleared.
Every two seconds, the screen displays “Z-Z-Z” with the current time.
•Cybiko sends and receives signals from your surrounding environment
at one-fourth the frequency of active mode.
Note: Press any key to return to Active Mode.
YOU DO NOT NEED TO PUSH THE ON/OFF SWITCH TO WAKE UP
THE DEVICE.
Note. In case you are not intending to use your Cybiko for a short
period of time we recommend you to put it into Power Saver mode
pressing <fn>[F1]. To wake it up back press any key until the screen
switches ON.
AUTO SHUTDOWN
Cybiko will automatically shut down when the batteries are very low to
insure all information is maintained. In Auto Shutdown mode, your Cybiko
will display a blank screen and the keys will not function.
When Auto-Shutdown occurs:
1.1. Plug your Cybiko into the charging unit.
2.2. Using the ON/OFF slide switch, turn the device off and wait 5
seconds
3.3. Using the ON/OFF slide switch, turn the device on again.
4.After the device powers back up, you can continue to play with your
Cybiko while it is plugged into the charging unit. It will continue to charge.
Note. If you know that you are not going to use your Cybiko for
more than one day we advise you to turn it OFF with ON/OFF slide
switch. Complete discharge of the device lowers down the batteries
life span.
