System Requirements and Equipment
•A computer with any operating system that supports a web browser.
•A web browser to access the web-based interface of the router: Windows Internet
Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, or Opera
•A NIC (Ethernet or Wi-Fi adapter) to connect to the router.
• A 802.11b, g, or n Wi-Fi adapter to create a wireless network.

Step 1:
Open your Internet Browser and type in the Default IP address of the Router 192.168.1.1
Username: admin
Password: admin

Step 2:
Changing the Language.
Once Logged in there is a language/ЯƐblK option on the top, right hand side of the Screen.
Select English

All Data will now be in English.
NOTE:
The unit will automatically revert back to default language (Russian) after it has been switched off or
been restored to factory default settings

Step 3:
PPPoE Connection.
1.) Click on Net then
2.) Connections followed by
3.) Add
Step 4:
Change your VPI to 8 and ensure that the VCI is set to 35 (default)
Type in your PPP username and password as provided to you by your ISP. Service name is
optional and can therefore be left blank.
MTU: 1492
Scroll down and enable keep alive.
NAT and Firewall should be enabled by default. Tick the respective radio buttons should it
not be.
Click on Save

The router will automatically redirect to the home page once settings have been
applied.
Click on Save & Reboot to permanently save the settings to the Device

(the DSL-2640/NRU is now Rebooting )
Once the DSL-2640/NRU has successfully saved and rebooted it will
indicate a DSL Status:

Status Up →Internet the connection is successful.
Authentication Failure →Username and Password (Provided by ISP
Is incorrectly typed in.
PPPoE Down →There is a Problem at the ISP ,
Confirm with ISP that all services are up and running.
Link down/ Disconnected → ADSL Line is faulty or not properly connected
to the Unit
