To reveal the drive bay and to inspect the air fi lter undo the two thumb screws on the front of the d3 unit (1 & 2)
* The 4x4pro comes with 4x SSD drives. The 4x2pro comes with 2x SSD drives. For more info on hard drive confi guration see pro.d3technologies.com
You should regularly inspect the air fi lter on the front of the unit to prevent loss of cooling effi ciency. To remove the air fi lter material, fi rst remove the screws from
the fi lter housing marked as in the diagram above. Give the fi lter a clean, replace the fi lter in the metal frame and reattach the fi lter brace

The d3 pro range uses the Neutrik powerCON TRUE1 as its power input. This mains connector is:
• Lockable
• Live-Mating (safely)
• Extendable
• Dust and water resistant according to IP65 in mated condition
To power the pro range you should use a cable with the following attributes:
• SJT fl exible cord, min. 12AWG, min. 300V, min. 60ºC, max 4.5 m long
• One end terminated with NEMA 5-15P/BS 1363/CEE 7 plug
• Other end terminated with appliance coupler type Neutrik AG, type NAC3FX
Powering a Multi Server System
The d3 pro range features a power pass-through, making it possible to connect multiple systems.
The power input to the machine is rated at 12Amps RMS per connection in Europe and USA.
Loop through cables should have the following attributes:
• SJT fl exible cord, min. 12AWG, min. 300V, min. 60ºC, max 4.5 m long
• One end terminated with appliance coupler type Neutrik AG, type NAC3MX-W
• Other end terminated with appliance coupler type Neutrik AG, type NAC3FX

1. Units in the d3 4x4pro and d3 4x2pro range are fi tted with Neutrik powerCON TRUE1 connectors as
standard
2. Use the included power cable with the Neutrik powerCON TRUE1 connector to connect the d3 unit to a
power source
3. Make sure you have connected a KEYBOARD, MOUSE, MONITOR and SPEAKERS
4. Press the power button on the front panel of the unit and wait for the system to boot

d3 4x4pro & d3 4x2pro Options
The d3 4x4pro currently comes with either a) 4x Dual Link DVI Outputs, each capable of driving up to
2560x1600 pixels or b) 4x Displayport 1.2 outputs, each capable of driving up to 4096 x 2160 pixels.
The d3 4x2pro includes 4 x Dual Link DVI Outputs, each capable of driving up to 2160x1600 pixels.

a) 4 x DisplayPort 1.2 (4096 x 2160 max) native * Either d3 4x4pro or d3 4x2pro

Should you have questions or experience issues with this product, contact d3 Technologies Support
department for assistance. Only certifi ed technicians should attempt to repair or confi gure components.
The system must be disconnected from all sources of power and the power cord removed from the power
input and output before servicing the rear connection panels or internal components.
Only trained and qualifi ed personnel should be allowed to install, replace, or service this equipment.
Ultimate disposal of this product should be handled according to all regional and national laws and
regulations.
