1 INTRODUCTION
2 The range of aluminum towers "ALU-50" are in accordance with the
UNE-EN 1004: 2006 standard ‘Access towers and mobile work towers
built with prefabricated elements. Materials, measurements, design loads
and safety requirements.
3 For the preparation of this Instruction Manual, the guidelines specified in
the UNE-EN 1298: 1996 standard ‘Access towers and mobile work
towers have been followed. Rules and guidelines for the preparation of
an instruction manual.
4 GENERAL INFORMATION
The “ALU-50” aluminum towers are designed to carry out work at
height, following the indications detailed in this Instruction Manual.
According to the UNE-EN 1004: 2006 standard, they correspond to a
scaffold class 3. The maximum allowable load, evenly distributed, on the work
surface is 200 Kg / m2. On models with more than one level of platforms, the
lower levels should not be loaded (they are only designed to facilitate access
to the upper level).
Considerations regarding adverse weather conditions:
This instruction manual must always be available at the place
of use of the tower for any queries that may be made.
The tower should not be used when weather conditions are
adverse enough to produce slippery surfaces (caused by the
accumulation of water or ice layers on the platforms) or
unstable (sudden movements of the structure caused by the
wind).

6 ASSEMBLY AND DISASSEMBLY
The number of people necessary to carry out the assembly and
disassembly of the aluminum tower "ALU-50", in any of its variants, is a
minimum of 2 people..
6.1 PREVIOUS CONSIDERATIONS
Sufficient resistance of the ground on which the tower will sit must be
ensured. Possible interferences in length and / or height of any of the
elements that make up the tower must also be foreseen.
The tower is designed to work seated on horizontal surfaces, so that
the adjustment of the spindles is only allowed to compensate for small
irregularities in the terrain.
It must be checked that all parts or elements, auxiliary tools and
safety equipment (harnesses, helmet, gloves, safety boots, etc.) are available
on site.

6.2 ASSEMBLY SERIE 750 (MODEL 7504)
STEP 1:
Insert the adjustable wheels inside the frames.
STEP 2:
Attach 2 horizontal bars.
One bar on the lower horizontal
cross member of the frames, and
the other on the vertical upright
The LEDGERS are characterized by having a
green locking latch.
PASO 3:

Attach the other ends that are
free of the horizontal edgers to the
other frame, which must be with a
ladder. Previously to this frame the
wheels will have been introducedas.
The brakes should be
applied to the wheels to
prevent them from sliding
along the surface on which they
rest. The wheel is blocked when we
press the lever they have towards
the ground. To unlock it, push the
lever in the opposite direction.
STEP 4:
Mount the diagonals from the
lower cross members to the upper
cross members, connecting the
diagonals wedges as close to the
uprights as possible. Temporarily
position a platform with a hatch on
the fourth level of cross members..
After having positioned
the platform on the
horizontal crossbars of
the frame, the anti-lift safety device
must be fitted at both ends, to avoid
its disassembly and / or accidental
overturning..
The diagonal LEDGERS are characterized by
having the red locking latch.

STEP 5:
The next level of frames will be mounted, securing them with pins to
prevent accidental disassembly.
Next, the next level of diagonals will be mounted, in the same way as
step 4.
The fixed stabilizers will be mounted, verifying that they are well secured on
the uprights of the frames..
STEP 6:
The platform with the final hatch will be mounted on the fourth level of
crossbars.

Next, the railing frames will be assembled, securing them by means of the
pins to avoid their accidental disassembly.
Mount the horizontal bars at 1 m and 0.5 m from the platform level, to
complete the side protection.
Mount the perimeter skirting so that the lower lugs are between the
platform hooks.
Finally, the intermediate platform can be removed, after having
descended from the tower.
Access to the working level of the tower must always be done from
inside the tower.
