XI. PRODUCTWARRANTY/REPAIRPROCESS

2. Technicianwillassistintroubleshootingproductmalfunction.
3. Ifproductmalfunctioncannotberemediedandarepairisdeemednecessary,TechnicianwillissueaRepairAuthorization
(RA)number.
IMPORTANTNOTE:
TheTechnicianwillnoteontheRAformiftherepairAPPEARStobeawarrantyornon‐warrantyissuebasedoncustomerdescription
oftheissuesathand.Nofinaldeterminationcanbemadeuntilinspectionandtestingoftheequipmentiscompletedatthefactory.
4. Toensurefastandeffectiverepairs,customerisrequiredtosend:
DakotaMicroProductthatTechnicianhasrequested/deemednecessaryintheproperdiagnosisandrepairof
malfunction.Thismayincludesomeorallcomponentsofthekit.
Original/Copyofpurchasereceipt.
ForserializeditemsONLY;Ifacopyoftheoriginalpurchasereceiptcannotbeprovided,thenDAKOTAMICROwilluse
theproductmanufacturedate.
Customerinformation,includingreturnaddress&phonenumber.Ifthephonenumberisnotincluded,thecustomer
willbesentaletterrequestingtheneededinformation.

6. UponreceiptandevaluationofproductatDakotaMicroFactory,itwillbeestablishediftherepairiswarrantyornon‐
warranty.Ifrequested,customerwillbecalledandnotifiedofanyapplicablecharges.
7. Iftherepairsaredeemednon‐warranty,andrequireaservice/repairfeeofanykind,acreditcardnumberwillberequested
byOrderProcessingaftertherepairiscompleted.
8. Ifcustomerisunabletobecontactedoverthecourseof3weeksregardingrequirednon‐warrantyrepairs,productwillbe
returned,unrepaired,tothecustomer.
9. Anyproductreturnedwithoutproperdocumentationmaybereturnedatcustomer’sexpense.
10. Productreturnedwithunconfirmedproblemswillbeassesseda$60evaluationfeeperunit
11. Returnshippingcostswillbebornebythepartyatfault;inotherwords,ifDakotaMicrodeterminesthatthedefective
productwascoveredunderwarranty,DakotaMicropaystheshippingcharges.IfDakotaMicrodeterminesthatitwasthe
customersfault,thecustomerwillpayshippingcharges.Ifaparticularcircumstancecannotbedeterminedthanthecostof
shippingchargeswillbedecidedonadiscretionarybasisdependingonthesituationathand.
