1、HD-SDI product introduction:
1．HD-SDI Camera characteristics:
HD - SDI digital camera use SONY CMOS image sensor, it is suitable for various electronic equipment that need to
capture video signal. Support 1080p, 1080I and 720p format. Uses the HD - SDI / 3GSDI digital signals, with night
vision function, wide dynamic, image flip, dynamic fill point and IR - CUT switching, English OSD display, RS485 line
control& key control function. The external power adapter supports DC12V power supply.
2．HD-SDI camera application:
Suitable for all kinds of hd requirements surveillance system, such as road monitoring, square, station, parking
lot, video conference, etc high precision video acquisition, remote monitoring。
3．HD-SDI camera System network topology:
HD-SDI camera is applied to monitoring system usually adopts the following 4 way:
A. Be connected directly to high-definition monitor with SDI input through cable.
B. SDI signal will be connected to the converter (SDI turn HDMI), HDMI output format signal to HD displayer;
C. SDI signal will be connected to the SDI DVR, then HDMI output format signal to HD displayer;
D, SDI signal will be connected to the SDI encoder, through the network transmission to SDI decoder revert to SDI
signal output to DVR and finally to display

2．Description for cables
3、Built-in Menu operation:
1．MAIN MENU
Connect keyboard to camera and press “ENT”into Main Menu, display as followings:
Notice：
Enter Menu, press UP/DOWN to choice items, press left/right to change parameters. Please move cursor to “EXEC” and
press left or right to confirm.
The menu will be changed according to difference camera parameters.
Detail operation：
CAMERA RESET: camera parameters factory default. Notice：When the parameters after factory default,
CAMERA ID and OUTPUT MODE will be not changed.
WBC MODE：White balance mode choice。PUSH key is fast auto white balance mode (default mode), Full
automatic mode。
EV LEVEL：exposure control, adjust range -2.0（Image darkest）to +2.0（Image lightest），default is OFF.
ATR-EX：digital WDR, default is OFF. Applied in the light contrast great occasion applicable.
GAMMA：Gamma Curve mode. GAMMA1-3 and NORM, default is NORM.

OUT MODE：signal output. Support 720P25/30/50/60、1080I50/60、1080P25/30/50/60。
SAVE ALL：save all of parameters. When change parameters, move cursor to “EXEC” then press left or
right to save.
EXIT：exit menu. Move cursor to“(––”，press Left or right exit Menu。
2．GENERAL settings
On Main Manu, choice “SEL” of GENERAL, press left or right into submenu then display as followings：
Detail operation method：
CAMERA ID：Camera ID code. Set RS485 communication address, default 001、protocol is PELC_D and Baud rate is
9600bps. Address setting range is 001-255. There is no address setting when display OFF. Control end can use any
address code control. The screen will display current address（Ex:CAMERA001），The control equipment must set the same
address code to control. Notice: In the factory default when address code does not change, only manual modification。
COLOR LEVEL：color adjustable. Option: B/W、LOW、MID、HIGH. Default is LOW。
MIRROR/ROTATE：Image Mirror set. Adjust range: OFF、MIRR 、VE、ROT。This function will be set according to camera
installation.
SHARPNESS：Image sharpness setting. Option：OFF/LOW/MID/HIGH. Default is LOW。
DAY AND NIGHT：Day/Night setting. Total 3 mode：DAY(color)、NIGHT(B/W)、AUTO（Automatic switch）. The subitem
of D&N SCR under Auto mode is the reference datum. With AGC or through CDS control Day /Night mode. This function
only for camera with ICR.
FLC MODE：Prevent flick mode. Option：NORM、50HZ、60HZ、AUTO。 Default NORM。
BACK TO MENU：cursor movement to “(––”, press left or right go back to higher menu.
VERSION 1.000：current version number。
Operation tip:
If using the keyboard or engineering treasure equipment control, then click "aperture +" button to enter the
main menu, press upper or lower key move the cursor selection project, according to the left, right modification
parameter. Click "aperture +" key twice to exit menu.

3．AE MODE:
Choice AE MODE on Main Menu and press left or right into submenu. Display as：
AE HOLD：Exposure mode setting. Choose HOLD（Lock mode）, fixed model. Or choose AUTO mode，
i.e., According to an outside light automatic correction image brightness signal strength and color signal shade.
AGC LIMIT(DB)：Auto Gain control. Option：LOW、MID、HIGH. Default is LOW. This parameter mainly
for low Illu. Image. Noise is smallest when LOW mode, noise is biggest when HIGH mode.
SHUTTER TIME：Shutter time(s）。Option：AUTO、1/25、1/50、1/100、1/200、1/400. The function main
apply to take photos for rapid transit object, the fastest for shutter time, the clearest for image. To a certain
extent, reduce tailing phenomenon.
BACK TO MENU：Cursor move to “(––”， press left or right to go back.
4、Simple troubleshooting method:

Safety Instruction

5. Please don't put equipment near by outlet of air conditioning, otherwise lens will be fuzzy due to dewing.
6. Equipment without power switch, please close all related equipment of power supply when
installation and cleaning and operation.
7. Please transportation, use and storage equipment under suitable temperature.
8. If the device being damaged, for example, power or video plug damaged, or can't work because the glass of
device is broken etc, please contact the supplier or maintenance service center as soon as possible. (If any
problems happened without allowed by supplier, the responsibility undertaked by oneself)
