Description
Výměnný rámeček DeLock může být instalován do 3.5” nebo 5.25” pozice na
vašem počítači. Obsahuje pouzdro na pevný disk SATA, které může být použito
ve výměnném rámečku přes SATA rozhraní nebo jako externí zařízení přes USB
rozhraní.

Instalace hardware
Poznámka:
Postupujte podle obecných instrukcí pro instalaci výměnného rámečku. Pokud
to bude potřeba, použijte manuál vašeho počítače nebo požádejte o pomoc
specialistu.
Instalace 2.5“ pevného disku do pouzdra:
1. Otevřete pouzdro odšroubováním šroubků vedle konektorů

2. Uchopte destičku a vytáhněte zásuvný rámeček ven z pouzdra.
3. Vložte pevný duisk do rámečku a připevněte SATA konektor.
4. Upevněte pevný disk k rámečku pomocí šroubků.
5. Zasuňte rámeček zpět do pouzdra a pouzdro zašroubujte.
Instalace 3.5“ rámečku do 3.5“ pozice:
1. Vypněte počítač, odpojte napájecí šňůru.
2. Otevřete kryt počítače.
3. Vyjměte záslepný panel z volné 3.5“ pozice.
4. Vložte výměnný rámeček do pozice a přišroubujte jej k rámu.
5. Připojte kabely výměnný rámeček na odpovídající rozhraní počítače.
6. Uzavřete kryt počítače, připojte napájecí šňůru.
Instalace 3.5“ rámečku do 5.25“ pozice:
7. Vypněte počítač, odpojte napájecí šňůru.
8. Otevřete kryt počítače.
9. Vyjměte záslepný panel z volné 5.25“ pozice.
4. Vložte do 5,25 pozice rám s redukcí na 3,5”a přišroubujte jej
5. Poté vložte výměnný rámeček do pozice a přišroubujte jej.
6. Připojte kabely výměnný rámeček na odpovídající rozhraní počítače.
7. Uzavřete kryt počítače, připojte napájecí šňůru.
Instalace ovladače
Windows 2000/XP/ Server 2003
Pro použití 3.5“ výměnného rámečku v počítači:
1. Vypněte počítač
2. Vložte 2.5” pouzdro do výměnného rámečku.
3. Pevný disk je nalezen a může být ihned používán.
4. Stiskem tlačítka “eject” je možné uvolnit pouzdro z výměnného rámečku a
použít je externě.
Externí použití přes USB port na počítači nebo notebooku:
1. Vypněte počítač.
2. Připojte USB datový kabel a USB napájecí kabel k pouzdru a dále tyto kabely
připojte k volným USB portům počítače nebo notebooku.
3. Externí disk je detekován a může být okamžitě používán.

Diesen DeLock Wechselrahmen können Sie in den 3.5“ oder 5.25“ Schacht
Ihres PCs einbauen. Es beinhaltet ein Gehäuse für SATA Festplatten, welches
Sie entweder in dem Wechselrahmen mit SATA oder extern über USB betreiben
können.

Hardware Installation
Hinweis:
Folgen Sie den hier anschließenden allgemeinen Anweisungen zur Installation
des Gehäuses. Bei Bedarf lesen Sie bitte in Ihrem Computerhandbuch nach oder
wenden Sie sich an einen Fachmann.

Einbau der 2.5“ Festplatte in das Gehäuse:
1. Schrauben Sie das Gehäuse an der Seite der Anschlüsse auf.
2. Nehmen Sie die Blende ab und ziehen Sie den Einschub aus dem Rahmen
heraus.
3. Legen Sie die Festplatte in den Einschub und verbinden Sie die SATA
Anschlüsse miteinander.
4. Fixieren Sie die Festplatte mit den mitgelieferten Schrauben an dem
Einschub.
5. Schieben Sie den Einschub in den Rahmen und schrauben das Gehäuse zu.
Einbau des 3.5“ Gehäuses im 3.5“ Schacht:
1. Schalten Sie Ihren PC aus, ziehen Sie das Netzkabel.
2. Öffnen Sie das Gehäuse.
3. Entfernen Sie die Blende vom gewünschten freien 3.5“ Schacht.
4. Stecken Sie den Wechselrahmen in den Schacht und schrauben Sie diesen
an den Seiten fest.
5. Verbinden Sie anschließend die Kabel des Wechselrahmens mit den
entsprechenden Anschlüssen an Ihrem Computer.
6. Schließen Sie das Gehäuse wieder und verbinden Sie das Netzkabel mit dem
Netzteil.
Einbau des 3.5“ Gehäuses im 5.25“ Schacht:
1. Schalten Sie Ihren PC aus, ziehen Sie das Netzkabel.
2. Öffnen Sie das Gehäuse.
3. Entfernen Sie die Blende vom gewünschten freien 5.25“ Schacht.
4. Stecken Sie den Wechselrahmen in den 5.25“ Rahmen und befestigen Sie
diesen mit den Schrauben.
5. Danach stecken Sie das Gerät in den Schacht und schrauben diesen an den
Seiten fest.
6. Verbinden Sie anschließend die Kabel des Wechselrahmens mit den
entsprechenden Anschlüssen an Ihrem Computer.
7. Schließen Sie das Gehäuse wieder und verbinden Sie das Netzkabel mit dem
Netzteil.
Treiber Installation
Windows 2000/XP/ Server 2003
Bei Nutzung über den 3.5“ Wechselrahmen am PC:
1. Schalten Sie den Computer ein.
2. Stecken Sie das 2.5“ Gehäuse in den Wechselrahmen.
3. Die Festplatte wird sofort erkannt und Sie können das Gerät sofort

verwenden.
4. Mit drücken der Auswurftaste können Sie das Gehäuse aus dem
Wechselrahmen entfernen und es auch extern betreiben.
Bei externer Nutzung über den USB Port am PC oder Notebook:
1. Schalten Sie den Computer ein.
2. Verbinden Sie das USB Datenkabel und das USB Stromkabel mit dem
Gehäuse und jeweils einem freien USB Port Ihres Computers.
3. Das externe Laufwerk wird sofort erkannt und Sie können das Gerät sofort
verwenden.

Description
This DeLock Mobile rack can be installed into the 3.5” or 5.25” bay of your
computer. It includes a enclosure for SATA hard disks which you can either
operate in the Mobile rack with SATA or externally via USB.

Hardware Installation
Note:
Follow the general instructions for installation of the enclosure. If necessary,
read the manual of your computer, or ask a specialist for help.
Installation of the 2.5“ hard disk into the enclosure:
1. Open the housing by loosening the screws next to the connectors.
2. Take the plate and pull the slide-in frame out of the enclosure.
3. Put the HDD into the intray and connect the SATA connections.

4. Fasten the hard drive with provided screws to the slide-in frame.
5. Slide the frame back in to the enclosure and close the enclosure with the
screws.
Installation of the 3.5“ enclosure into the 3.5“ bay:
1. Turn off your PC, and unplug the power cord.
2. Open the housing.
3. Remove the panel from the available 3.5“ bay.
4. Insert the mobile rack into the bay and screw it to the housing.
5. Finally connect the cables of the mobile rack with the respective connectors
to your computer.
6. Reattach the housing, and connect the power cord to the AC adapter.
Installation of the 3.5“ enclosure into the 5.25“ bay:
1. Turn off your PC, and unplug the power cord.
2. Open the housing.
3. Remove the panel from the available 5.25“ bay.
4. Insert the mobile rack into the bay and screw it to the housing.
5. After that put the device into the bay and screw it to the bay.
6. Connect the cables of the mobile rack to the respective connectors of your
computer.
7. Reattach the housing, and connect the power cord to the AC adapter.
Driver Installation
Windows 2000/XP/ Server 2003
For use with the 3.5“ mobile rack on the PC:
1. Switch on your computer.
2. Put the 2.5” enclosure into the mobile rack.
3. The HDD will be found and the device can be used immediately.
4. By pushing the eject button you can remove the enclosure from the mobile
rack and use also externally.
For external use via USB port on the PC or notebook:
1. Switch on your computer.
2. Connect the USB data cable and the USB power cable to the enclosure and
connect each cable to a free USB port of your PC.
3. The external drive will be found and the device can be used immediately.
