tions, in case you need to refer to them later. If you pass the product on to
someone else, please also include these instructions.
Designated use
zUse the device only to prepare dough or for similar usual operations of the hand mixer.
zThis product is designed for private use in enclosed spaces. This product is unsuitable
for commercial or household use in restaurants, hotels, motels or other residential
facilities or in bed and breakfast establishments.
Hazard for children and a wider group of persons
zThis appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with limited phys-
ical, sensory or mental abilities or lacking experience and/or knowledge, unless they are
supervised by a person responsible for their safety or have received instructions for use
of the device from this person in advance.

within the 3 year warranty period will be repaired or replaced free of charge provided

not affect your statutory rights. However, be aware that the warranty will become null
and void if the product is found to have been deliberately damaged, misused or
disassembled.

zChildren should be supervised in order to ensure that they do not play with the appli-
ance.
zKeep children away from packaging material. Please dispose of responsibly.
Hazard from electricity
zThe mixer must not be operated with a damaged connecting line or other damages on
the device (fall damage).
zNever try to open the device by yourself. Do not carry out any modifications to the
appliance or its mains cable. Only allow repairs to be carried out on appliances by a
professional workshop.
zIf the connecting line of the hand mixer is damaged, it has to be replaced by the
customer service or a similarly qualified person in order to prevent risks.
zOnly connect the mixer to a properly installed socket with protective contacts.
zDisconnect the mains plug from the socket:
- if you are inserting/removing the beaters/dough hooks from the mixer,
- if you are not using the mixer,
- after each use,
- before cleaning or putting the appliance away,
- if an obvious fault occurs during operation,
- in a thunder storm.
Always pull on the plug, not on the cable
zThe mixer must not be immersed in water or other liquids. Electric shock hazard! Also,
do not use the device in the direct vicinity of moisture sources, e.g. a sink.
zDo not operate appliance outdoors.
zEnsure that the socket is well-accessible, so that you can remove the mains plug quickly,
if necessary.
zUnwind the power cable completely prior to use. Ensure that the power cable is not
damaged by sharp edges or hot items.
zIf an extension line is necessary, pay attention whether the extension is designed for
the performance of the device. Consult with your specialist supplier.
Injury hazard
zDo not use the mixer without operator attention.
zNever touch the beaters or the dough hooks when the hand mixer is switched on.
zBe careful not to have enter your hair and your clothes between the rotating beaters
or dough hooks!
zNever allow the mains cable to hang over the edge of a table or worktop.
zAfter switching off, the beaters/dough hooks continue to run briefly. Wait until the
inserts have stopped completely before handling the mixer.

zNever reach into the rotating inserts. Also keep other kitchen utensils away from the
inserts, e.g. spoons.
Caution – property damage
zOnly press the eject button on the mixer when the inserts have completely stopped
moving.
zFood may only be processed with the mixer, which is suitable. Hard food, e.g. ice cubes
and coffee beans are not suitable.
zOnly use the turbo function for a brief moment (max. duration. 1 minute), in order to
prevent overloading the motor.
zThe appliance is designed for short-term operation of max. 10 minutes. After this, the
appliance must cool down for approx. 10 minutes before you use it again.
zDo not have foreign particles and liquids enter the device.
zPlace the device with the integrated base on the back onto a stable and heat-resistant
working surface.
zDon’t let the connecting lead come into contact with hot surfaces, e. g. a cooktop, and
let not get the connecting lead seized or squeezed.
zSwitch the device on only if the beaters or the dough hooks are correctly engaged.
zOnly use the beaters and dough hooks which came with the product to operate the
machine.
zThe device offers the possibility to rewind the cable from its back end. Please use the
device only with the cable completely uncoiled.
zDo not use any aggressive chemical detergents, abrasives, hard sponges, or similar, for
cleaning.

Prior to Initial Use
1. Remove all parts from the box.
2. Check whether all parts are available and obviously undamaged.
3. Remove the packaging materials and completely unwind the power cable.
4. Verify that the voltage indication on the package corresponds to that of your house-
hold.
5. Clean the beaters and dough hooks before you use them for the first time. Use for that
just warm water and standard commercial washing-up liquid.
6. Place the hand mixer onto a flat surface in a sufficient distance from inflammable
objects.
7. During the first use of the hand mixer, a slight smell may develop. Therefore care for
a sufficient ventilation through opened windows.
Insert beaters / dough hooks
The selection of the insert depends on the food to be processed:
zBeaters are used e.g. for creams, whipping cream, light batters, mashed potatoes or
for mixing pudding powder.
zDough hooks are used for kneading heavy dough, such as shortcrust pastry.
DANGER
Switch the hand mixer off (level 0). Make sure that the mains plug is not connected
to the socket.
CAUTION
Do not try to insert one beater and one dough hook because this may damage the
device.

There is a left and a right beater / dough hook:
Please take care during the insertion of the beaters or the dough hooks into the body that
you put the beater / dough hook with the bigger button on the end (1) into the big right
opening of the hand mixer (1) and the other one into the smaller opening (2).
CAUTION
Before exchanging the accessories, the device must be switched off, the standstill
of the motor must be waited for, and the mains plug must be pulled out of the
socket.
Beaters
XPut the beaters into the openings at the bottom of the hand mixer, as seen in the
illustration.
The beaters must audibly engage and are then firmly locked in place.
Dough hooks
XImportant! During the insertion, take care to put the dough hooks according to their
identification into the correct opening, as they are not interchangeable.
The dough hooks must audibly engage and are then firmly locked in place.
Use
1. Make sure that the device is not connected to the socket.
2. Make sure that the velocity switch is in position “0”. For safety reasons, one of the
dough hooks fits only into the bigger opening and the other one into the smaller one.
The top parts engage audibly and are then firmly locked in place.
3. Connect the device with a properly installed socket.

DANGER
Never reach into the running beaters or dough hooks! Always wait first for the
standstill of the motor and the top parts and pull the mains plug before you
exchange the top parts.
CAUTION
- Do not try to insert one beater and one dough hook because this may damage
the device.
- The appliance is designed for short-term operation of max. 10 minutes. After
this, the appliance must cool off for approx. 10 minutes before you use it again.
Use of attachments
XInsert the beaters or the dough hooks into the matching opening. Do not try to use
force.
The device is now ready-to-use.
Mixing
1. Before using the hand mixer, be sure that the mixing bowl is standing on a non-skid and
flat surface.
2. Now put the desired ingredients into a mixing bowl.
3. Hold the switched-off hand mixer with the beaters or the dough hooks into the ingre-
dients.
4. Switch the hand mixer to level 1. Always start at a slow speed and increase it only, if
needed, when the ingredients are mixed. This is how you prevent loose ingredients
from being thrown out.
Using the turbo function
This device is equipped with a turbo button. With it, you can at any time increase the speed
to maximal performance for a short duration (the max. duration of the use of the turbo
button should not exceed 1 minute).
As soon as you release the button again, your hand mixer works again at the speed set by
you with the velocity switch.

Changing attachments
1. Switch the device off.
2. Pull the mains plug and wait for the top parts to be completely in standstill.
3. Press the eject button. Now the blockings of the device are loosened, and you can take
the top parts from the device.
Examples for the use of the different speeds
This hand mixer is only suited for common household quantities. It is designed to handle
very consistent and heavy doughs with a maximum weight of 1000g.
Cleaning
DANGER
- Remove the plug from the socket before you clean the appliance.
- The mixer must not be immersed in water or other liquids.

CAUTION
- Do not use any aggressive chemical detergents, abrasives, hard sponges, or simi-
lar, for cleaning.
Level 1 - Extra slow mixing of dry ingredients (beaters)
- Folding in of egg white (beaters)
- Folding in of nuts, dry fruit for biscuit dough (beaters)
- Mixing of sauces (beaters)
Level 2 - Whipping of cream (beaters)
- Adding of dry ingredients (beaters)
- Mixing of mashed potatoes (beaters)
- Stirring of cold butter and sugar (beaters)
Level 3 - Stirring of soft butter and sugar (beaters)
- Mixing of dry and liquid ingredients (beaters)
Level 4 - Mixing of butter dough (beaters)
- Mixing of sponge mixture (beaters)
Level 5 - Kneading of cake mixture (dough hooks)
- Whipping of egg white (beaters)

1. Loosen the blocking of the top parts with the eject button.
2. Clean the beaters and dough hooks in warm water with standard commercial washing-
up liquids.
3. Clean the body with a clean, a bit damp cloth.
4. Let the device cool out entirely before you put it away.

Fault Possible causes and rectification
No function. Plug in the socket?
Spraying is occurring. Start with a low level.
The mixing result is unsatisfactory. First add the liquids, then the solid
ingredients to the bowl.
Beaters/dough hooks only moving very
slowly.
Set a higher level.
Briefly push the turbo button.
Add more liquid to the mixture, if
appropriate.
Beaters/dough hooks suddenly stop. Possible item in the mixture.
Immediately switch off the mixer and
remove the plug.
Check whether there is an item in the
mixture and remove, if necessary.

Warranty

The appliance has been manufactured with the greatest care.
The warranty period is three years from the date of purchase.
Please retain the sales receipt as proof of purchase as without it the
warranty claim cannot be processed.
During the warranty period, the sales receipt and the completed warranty card
with a description of the fault must be returned once you have contacted the
service centre by phone. A new appliance will be returned.
This warranty is in addition to your statutory rights. Your statutory rights are
not affected.
This warranty does not apply in cases of damage caused by accident, improper
use, abuse and force majeure.
This warranty will be invalidated if the appliance is tampered with in any way
whatsoever.
