Please –before its installation –make sure you read the operating instructions, especially the
safety directions and observe them carefully before installing and commissioning the device.
After having unpacked the device, please check carefully weather transportation damages of
any kind have occurred. If that is the case, the carrier or manufacturer must be notified within
3 days. The company will not be responsible for any damage found after that time.

SECURITY INSTRUCTIONS :
This operating instructions, especially the safety directions, must
be observed by all persons using this device !
Furthermore, the regulations and instructions for the prevention
of accidents especially for the operating place must be observed.
For using Denta Dampf 1500 AS , the following elementary precautions have to be
taken:
Every device leaves our premises after a final examination and trial run. In case
the device has been damaged during transportation or for other reasons, it may
not be taken into operation.
The device is meant to be used according the technical description only. All other
applications not corresponding to this description are not allowed.
before connecting your steam cleaner Denta Dampf 2000 n.G. verify weather the
voltage of your installations is the same as mentioned on the descriptive plate.
Use Denta Dampf 2000 n.G. only for what it is provided –for dental use by
professionals only.
To disconnect the machine , never tug at the cable but always at the plug.
Make sure that the cable never touches hot surfaces.
Do not use Denta Dampf 2000 n.G. with a damaged cable or when the machine
leaks or is damaged or has no more water in the tank.
To avoid unnecessary risks never dismantle the machine. Call your dealer to get
it verified or repaired.
It may not be filled with pressure and may not be connected to the water supply.
When you are working with other persons at your side increase your vigilance.
Avoid to connect several machines with power at the same electric circuit.
For your safety you must always use a plug with earth connection.
Never drop your machine into water.
After use let your machine get cold.
Use only clear water, descale and clean the boiler all 3 months
No cleaning or combustible liquids are allowed in the boiler
The tank cap may only be opened if the device is not under pressure
The device may not be filled if the boiler is hot !
Your Denta Dampf 2000 n.G. is a table mounted device. When installing make
sure that the device is horizontal and has a stable base.
Check the safety valve and its washers once a week
To have your Denta Dampf 2000 n.G. repaired it is necessary to give it to an
appointed after sales agent in order to be sure that it will be repaired according
to the norms mentioned in this brochure.
Please make sure regulary that the device is in good condition, clean inside as
outside and that any damaged parts are being replaced immediately.
Use original spare parts only.
When carrying out maintenance works or repairs switch off the main switch first
and unplug the device.

Allways unplug the device before opening.
Alterations are only allowed after consultation and release of the manufacturer.
In case of nonobservance any guarantee and any liability expires.
Any intervention of non authorised persons will cancel the validy of your
guarantee
Working instructions :
1. Unscrew the safety stopper, only if no pressure is in the tank -
the safety stopper of the safety valve –press down and turn anti - clockwise
2. Fill up the tank with about 1,7 l of clean water, use only clean containers and clean funnel.
3. To fasten the safety stopper and the safety valve, press down and turn clockwise
4. Connect the cable to the mains ( 220 / 240 V ) and make sure that the voltage is the same as
mentioned beneath your Denta Dampf 2000 n.G.
5. Press both switches –both lights will go on. This indicates that the machine is heating. If
the right temperature is reached and the pressure of approximate 4,5 bars has been reached.
6. Now the machine is ready for use.
7. Pressing the switch on the handpiece –the steam will come out. Never steam to any
electrical machinery or to people.
Never unscrew the safety stopper and safety valve while
Denta Dampf 2000 n.G. is under pressure.
Never fill up with detergent products or others than clean
water.
To fill up tank again during a cleaning operation proceed as follows :
1. Turn of the heating switch but not the main switch and let the Denta Dampf 2000 n.G.
cool down
2. Press the handle switch for complete evacuation of the steam inside the boiler
3. Disconnect the cable
4. Unscrew the safety stopper and the safety valve
5. Wait 2 or 3 minutes and fill up slowly –use hot water, if the boiler is still warm
To ensure the longevity of your Denta Dampf 2000 n.G. we recommend to descale the boiler
at least once or twice a quarter. Proceed as follows :
1. Fill up 1,9 l of the tank with water and add a spoon full of descaler ( you`ll find in all
supermarkets) –attention –never use acids that could destroy the aluminium of the
tank !
2. Close the tank and press the switches.
3. Wait about 15 minutes and disconnect the cable.
4. Let the descaler work overnight
5. The next day unscrew the safety stopper and the safety valve, open the screw under
the boiler and let the water and descaler run out in a clean pot. This allows you to
control weather there was dirt in the boiler or not. Then rince twice with cold water.

More than 96 % of defects are caused by dirt.
Troubleshooting :
Safety valve in tank`s cap opens :
Change both special seals. The one on its base ( white Teflon ring ) and the other ( red special
silicone disc ) inside of the cap or change the whole savety cap
Too high pressure :
Change the inside pressure controller
No steam :
Water in the Tank ?
Dirt in the electrovalve –decalcify device
Electrovalve or transformator or handpiece damaged –ask our after sales service

guarantee covers all defects that have been proved to be resulting from material defects,
construction or production faults. We will remove these defects free of charge if the
purchaser sends us the devices carriage paid together with a report and carefully
packed. Guarantee repairs will only be carried out upon presentation of invoice. Parts
subject to wear and tear are not covered by this guarantee.
