DAB playing mode: press ◄/► return to the
station list, and then press ◄/► to scroll the
stations then press Select to confirm.
FM playing mode: press ◄/► to fine tune the
frequency.
Long pressing the button to skip to the
previous/next available radio channel.
7. Select: Press it to confirm the operation.
Under FM playing mode: press it once to
skip to the next available radio channel.
8. Mode: Switch between the DAB and FM mode.
9. CLK Set: Hold it to set the clock and time manually.
10. Info: To view the detailed information of the current
playing radio station, press repeatedly to view
various information available.
11. Sleep: Set the sleep timer.
12. Scan: To initiate full scan of DAB and auto scan the
next available station in FM.
13. Dimmer: Press repeatedly to adjust the brightness
of the display in 3 levels.
14. Menu: Enter the main menu of the radio mode
when it is playing.
Return to the playing screen after operating
in other menus.
15. Recall: To recall the list of preset stations.

Start Up
1. Use the AC adaptor supplied in the package, connect the pin to the DC IN jack
at the rear side of the radio and connect the power plug to the wall socket.
2. To get the best reception, place the radio near a window as possible.
3. Connect your external powered speaker to the Audio out jack on the radio.
4. Plug in the wire antenna supplied in the package to the ANT jack.
5. Extend the wire as far as it can go to get the best reception. You may need to
move it around to obtain the optimal direction for the best reception.
6. Power up the radio by using the On/Off switch on the rear side of the radio.
The display will light up and display as follow. The radio will start in DAB mode
by default and followed by a full scan of the radio stations automatically:
7. If there is problem on reception, try moving the antenna around or different
direction to improve the reception.
8. When the scan is completed, the first station (alphabetically) will begin to play.
9. Press the <POWER> button once, the radio will change from operation mode
to standby mode.
Radio Mode
DAB Radio Operation
The DAB Radio has two modes of operation:
○ DAB Radio
○ FM Radio
Press the <Mode> button to switch between DAB/FM.
1. If it is the first time using the radio, it will automatically begin “full scan” for
DAB radio stations.
2. When scanning is completed, the stations will list in alphanumeric order and
the first one will be played.
3. The next time you listen DAB mode, it will play the last listened station.

DAB Settings
To view more functions and settings available for the radio, press the <Menu>
button.
Use the ◄ and ► key to select and press <Select> to confirm. Whenever you
want to exit the current menu, press <Menu> button.

●Full scan
It performs a station scan from channel 5A to 13F or you can press <Scan>
button to do “Full scan”
●Manual tune
This function allows you to check whether a specific frequency can be received
in your area and the corresponding signal strength.
When this option is selected, it will show a list of DAB frequencies.
Choose a frequency and it will display a bar of signal strength. If the bar of
strength is grayed out, it means the frequency cannot be received in your area.
DRC
Dynamic Range Control (also known as DRC) can make quieter sounds easier to
hear when your radio is used in a noisy environment. This function is only
available for the DAB.
DRC Off – No compression
DRC High – Maximum compression
DRC Low – Medium compression
Setting the compression to maximum will “boost” the quiet sounds, whilst
keeping the loudest sounds at their original level.

Prune
Some DAB services may stop broadcasting or you may not be able to receive a
station. Prune stations will delete the DAB stations from your station list that can
no longer be received.

The following settings are available:

● Equaliser
Adjust the sound of the music suits you best. There are already presets of EQ
and you can also tailor your prefer style using the “My EQ…”.
● Time
There are settings as follow:
1. Set Time/Date: This allows the user to manually set the current Time and
Date.
2. Auto Update: This function will set the radio’s time and date automatically with
data sent along with the broadcast of either the DAB or FM radio station.
* Note that FM auto Time/Date update may not work in your area, so the DAB
auto update option is recommended.
3. Set 12/4 Hour: This option will change the format of your clock to either 12
hour or 24 hour format.
4. Set Date Format: Changes the date display format between DD-MM-
YYYY/MM-DD-YYYY.
● Backlight
Your radio has 3 backlight settings:
Timeout:
This option is used to set the period of time that you wish your display’s backlight
to remain lit when your radio is in both ON and STANDBY modes. The available
options are: On/10 sec/20 sec/30 sec/45 sec/60 sec/90 sec/120 sec/180 sec.
Selecting “On” will force your radio’s backlight to remain on constantly. If you
select a specific time delay, after the selected time period has lapsed the display
will dim down under the following two situations:
- When the radio is turned on and no operation under selected time out period.
- When the radio turns off into standby mode, the backlight will dim down after
the time out period has lapsed.
On level:
This option will determine how bright the display’s backlight is lit while the radio
is on ON mode. There are 3 options for this setting: High, Medium& Low.

Dim level：
There are 3 brightness levels of the Dimmed backlight available –
low/medium/high.
● Language
This setting will change the language in which the menu system is displayed on
your radio. There are four languages available: English, French, German,
Italian.
● Factory reset
The DAB Radio can be reset to the factory default at any time, once a reset has
been performed, the DAB Radio will automatically begin Full scan.
1. Select “Factory Reset”, the display will show:
2. Press “◄” or “►” key to choose <Yes>, then press “Select” to perform the rest.
Important: Once the factory reset is done, all previous settings and presets
will be erased.
● SW version
This is to view the software version of your radio. Press <Select> key you can
see the software version directly
Note: To exit setup, press <MENU> button.
FM Radio Operation
Auto Scan
To switch to FM mode, press the <Mode> button.
Press <Scan> button, the radio will scan the next available station.

Manual Tune
To fine tune the frequency manually, use the ◄/► button. The frequency will be
tuned up or down by 0.05MHz.
FM Settings
Following options are available: Press <Menu> button to enter the list.

● Scan setting
There are two types of scan available. The scan is done according to “Strong
station only” or “All station”. If ‘strong station only’ is selected, it will scan only
the channels with strong reception signal where the radio is placed. If “All
station” is selected, it will scan out both the strong and weak channels.
● Audio setting
You can press ◄ or ► to find “Stereo allowed” or “Forced mono”, then press
<Select> to confirm.
System
Please refer to the System setting under DAB section.

Preset stations
The Preset stores favorite stations for easy access. It presets up to 10 DAB radio
stations and 10 FM stations in the radio memory.

2. To preset a station, hold and press a specific number (from 1-10) until the
“Preset X Saved” message appears.
3. The station is now successfully saved against the selected preset number.
You will see the icon at the bottom of display which shows the corresponding
number of preset.
Preset Recall
1. To recall the preset list, press the <Recall> button and it will display the list of
the presets you have saved.
2. Alternatively, you can press a specific number to recall a specific radio station.

Sleep Timer
The radio will turn off by itself after a selected time frame is due.
1. Press <Sleep> button on your remote control. Press it repeatedly to cycling
through the timer option available from15 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes, 60
minutes, 90 minutes or OFF.
2. Press the <Select> button to confirm your choice. The radio will turn to
standby when the time is due.
3. If you wish to cancel the sleep timer, choose “OFF” from the sleep timer
option.

Setting of Alarm
1. Press <Alarm1> or <Alarm 2> button to start the setting.
2. Press ◄ or ► key to set the alarm time, then press <Select> go to next step.
3. Source: You can set the alarm sound source as Buzzer, Digital Radio (DAB) or
FM. If you choose sound source of Digital Radio (DAB) or FM, an additional
option ‘Preset’ will pop up for you to select whether to use the “Last listened”
or from “Preset station”.
4. Preset: Either set the wake to DAB or FM by “Last listened” station or from
“Preset station” station.
5. Duration: You can set the alarm duration in the range of 15 minutes to 120
minutes.
6. Volume: You can set the alarm sound level as you prefer.
7. Choose Alarm on/off to confirm and save the alarm setting.
8. When the alarm sounds, you can press <Sleep> button to activate the Snooze
function to delay the alarm for 5 minutes.
9. To cancel the alarm, press the <Power> button.

Q & A
If you are experiencing problems with your DAB radio there are some quick and
easy checks that you can do, which may help to solve the problem.
● No DAB reception
-Please carry out “Factory Reset” on the radio and extend the antenna.
-Move the radio near to the window.
● Radio reception is poor
- Please check that the wire antenna is extended for the maximum signal
strength and move it around in different direction to improve the reception.
- Use the manual tune to check if the specific frequency reception level.
- Check that you do not have other electrical equipment too close to your radio,
causing interference.
● No sound or low volume
- This radio does not have internal speaker and it is designed to connect with the
external powered speaker.
- Please check if volume has been adjusted to the maximum on the radio and
adjust the volume of your external speaker as well.
- Please check if the “Mute” is enabled.

Fjernbetjening

på Select for at bekræfte.
FM afspilningstilstand: Tryk på ◄/► for at
fintune frekvensen.
Langt tryk på knappen for at springe til forrige
eller næste tilgængelige radiostation.
7. Select: Tryk for at bekræfte dit valg.
Under afspilning af FM: Tryk én gang for at
springe til næste tilgængelige radiostation.
8. Mode: Skifter mellem DAB- og FM-tilstand.
9. CLK Set: Hold knappen inde, hvis du vil indstille
uret manuelt.
10. Info: Få vist detaljerede oplysninger om den
radiostation, der afspilles. Tryk flere gange
for at se de forskellige tilgængelige
oplysninger.
11. Sleep: Opsætning af sleep autosluk.
12. Scan: Start en fuld automatisk kanalsøgning på
DAB-båndet, eller søg efter næste
tilgængelige FM-station.

14. Menu: Åbner hovedmenuen i radiotilstand under
afspilning.
Går tilbage til afspilningsdisplayet efter
betjening i andre menuer.
15. Recall: Åbner listen med faste stationer.

Kom godt i gang
1. Brug den medfølgende AC-adapter, og forbind stikket til DC IN strømindtaget
på bagsiden af radioen. Forbind dernæst adapteren til en stikkontakt.
2. Du får den bedste modtagelse, hvis du placerer radioen så tæt på et vindue,
som muligt.
3. Forbind din eksternt strømforsynede højttaler til audioudgangen på radioen.
4. Forbind den medfølgende trådantenne til antenneterminalen ANT.
5. Stræk trådantennen helt ud for at opnå den bedste modtagelse. Det kan være
nødvendigt at prøve forskellige placeringer, inden du finder den placering, der
giver den bedste modtagelse.
6. Tænd radioen på kontakten On/Off på bagsiden af radioen. Displayet lyser op
og viser følgende. Radioen starter som standard op i DAB-tilstand og udfører
automatisk en fuld kanalsøgning:
7. Hvis der er problemer med modtagelsen, kan du prøve at flytte antennen lidt
rundt for at opnå bedre modtagelse.
8. Når søgningen er gennemført, stiller radioen automatisk ind på den første
station (alfabetisk) og begynder afspilningen.
9. Tryk én gang på knappen <POWER>, hvis du vil afslutte og stille radioen på
standby.
Radiotilstand
DAB-radioen har to betjeningstilstande:
○ DAB-radio
○ FM-radio
Tryk på knappen <Mode> for at skifte mellem DAB/FM.
Betjening af DAB-radio
1. Hvis det er første gang, du bruger radioen, gennemfører den automatisk en
“fuld kanalsøgning” efter DAB-radiostationer.
2. Når søgningen er gennemført, opretter radioen en alfabetisk liste over
stationerne og stiller ind på den første station på listen.
3. Næste gang, du aktiverer DAB-tilstand, stiller radioen ind på den station, du
sidst lyttede til.

DAB-indstillinger
Hvis du vil se flere af radioens funktioner og indstillinger, skal du trykke på
knappen <Menu>.
Brug knapperne ◄ og ► til at vælge, og tryk på knappen <Select> for at
bekræfte. Når du vil lukke den aktuelle menu, skal du trykke på knappen
<Menu>.
○ Full scan (fuld kanalsøgning)
○ Manual Tune (manuel kanalsøgning)
○ DRC (dynamisk område)
○ Prune (fjern ugyldige)
○ System
● Fuld kanalsøgning
Radioen udfører en kanalsøgning fra kanal 5A til 13F, eller du kan trykke på
knappen <Scan> for at udføre en “Full scan”.
● Manuel kanalsøgning
Med denne funktion kan du tjekke, om en bestemt frekvens kan modtages i dit
område, og få vist den tilhørende signalstyrke.
Når du vælger denne funktion, vises en liste over DAB-frekvenser.
Vælg en frekvens, hvorefter radioen viser dig en bjælke, der angiver
signalstyrken. Hvis bjælken er gråskraveret, betyder det, at frekvensen ikke kan
modtages i dit område.
DRC
Komprimering af dynamisk område (også kendt som DRC) kan gøre det lettere
at høre de stille passager, når du benytter radioen i støjende omgivelser. Denne
funktion kan kun anvendes med DAB.
DRC Off – Ingen komprimering
DRC High – Maks. komprimering
DRC Low – Middel komprimering
Hvis du vælger indstillingen High, “forstærkes” de stille passager, mens de
højere lyde bevarer deres oprindelige niveau.

Prune
Visse DAB-tjenester kan holde op med at sende, eller du kan ikke længere
modtage stationen. Med funktionen Prune vil sådanne DAB-stationer blive
fjernet fra din stationsliste, hvis de ikke længere kan modtages.
System
Følgende indstillinger er tilgængelige:
○ Equalizer
○ Time (tid)
○ Backlight (baggrundslys)
○ Language (sprog)
○ Factory Reset (nulstilling)
○ SW version (softwareversion)
● Equalizer
Vælg den indstilling, der får musikken til at lyde optimalt. Du kan vælge mellem
faste EQ-indstillinger, men du kan også oprette din egen indstilling under “My
EQ…”.
● Tid
Følgende indstillinger er mulige:
1. Set Time/Date: Her kan du manuelt indsætte det aktuelle klokkeslæt og dato.
2. Auto Update: Med denne funktion indstilles radioens tids- og datoangivelser
automatisk, når data udsendes med en udsendelse fra enten en DAB- eller
FM-radiostation.
* Bemærk, at FM automatisk opdatering af tid/dato muligvis ikke fungerer i dit
område, hvorfor det anbefales at anvende automatisk opdatering via DAB.
3. Set 12/4 Hour: Under dette punkt kan du vælge, om radioen skal anvende 12-
timers eller 24-timers tidsformatet.
4. Set Date Format: Her kan du ændre displayets datovisning mellem DD-MM-
ÅÅÅÅ/MM-DD-ÅÅÅÅ.
● Baggrundslys
Din radio har 3 indstillinger for baggrundslys:
Timeout:
Under dette punkt kan du vælge en periode, baggrundslyset skal forblive tændt,
både når din radio er tændt og står på STANDBY. Du kan vælge mellem: On/10
sec/20 sec/30 sec/45 sec/60 sec/90 sec/120 sec/180 sec. Hvis du vælger “On”,
vil lyset i radioens display altid være tændt. Hvis du vælger en anden indstilling,
dæmpes displayet efter det valgte tidsrum i følgende to situationer:
- Når radioen er tændt, og der ingen betjening har fundet sted i den valgte
periode.
- Når radioen stilles på standby, dæmpes baggrundslyset efter den valgte
tidsperiode.
On level:
Her vælger du, hvor stærk displayets lysstyrke skal være, når radioen er tændt.
Du kan vælge mellem 3 indstillinger: High, Medium & Low (høj, middel, lav).

Dim level：
Der er 3 lysstyrkeniveauer for dæmpning af baggrundslyset – low/medium/high
(lav/middel/høj).
● Sprog
Med denne indstilling kan du omgående ændre sproget, der vises på din radios
display. Du kan vælge mellem fire sprog: English, French, German, Italian
(engelsk, fransk, tysk, italiensk).
● Nulstilling
Du kan når som helst nulstille din DAB-radio til de oprindelige indstillinger. Når
du har nulstillet radioen, starter den automatisk en fuld kanalsøgning.

“Select” for at udføre nulstillingen.
Vigtigt: Når du nulstiller radioen, slettes alle tidligere indstillinger og faste

● Softwareversion
Her kan du få vist radioens softwareversion. Tryk på knappen <Select>,
hvorefter radioen omgående viser softwareversionen.
Bemærk: Tryk på knappen <MENU> for at afslutte opsætningen.
Betjening af FM-radio
Tryk på knappen <Mode> for at skifte til FM-radio.

Automatisk kanalsøgning
Tryk på knappen <Scan>, hvorefter radioen søger efter næste tilgængelige
station.
Manuel kanalsøgning
Hvis du vil fintune frekvensen manuelt, skal du trykke på knapperne ◄/►.
Frekvensen justeres op eller ned i trin à 0,05 MHz.
FM-indstillinger
Følgende indstillinger er tilgængelige: Tryk på knappen <Menu> for at åbne
listen.
○ Scan setting (søgeindstillinger)
○ Audio setting (lydindstillinger)

● Søgeindstillinger
Du kan vælge mellem to søgeindstillinger. Søgningen udføres enten efter
“Strong station only” (kun stærke stationer) eller “All station” (alle stationer).
Hvis du vælger ‘strong station only’, søges kun efter stationer, der går klart
igennem på det sted, hvor radioen står. Hvis du vælger “All station”, søges efter
både stærke og svage stationer.
● Lydindstillinger
Du kan trykke på ◄ eller ► for at vælge mellem “Stereo allowed” (stereo tilladt)
eller “Forced mono” (tvungen mono). Tryk dernæst på <Select> for at bekræfte.
System
Se oversigten over systemindstillinger for DAB.
Faste stationer
Du kan lagre faste stationer, så du har nem adgang til dem. Du kan lagre op til 10
faste DAB-stationer og 10 faste FM-stationer i radioens hukommelse.
1. Faste stationer giver nem adgang til favoritstationer. Du kan gemme op til 10
DAB-stationer.
2. Hvis du vil lagre en station, skal du trykke og holde den tilhørende numeriske
knap (fra 1-10), indtil “Preset X Saved” vises på displayet.
3. Stationen er nu gemt i radioens hukommelse på den valgte faste
programplads. Du vil se et ikon i bunden af displayet med nummeret på den
faste programplads.

1. Når du vil genkalde en fast station, skal du trykke på knappen <Recall> for at
få vist listen over dine faste stationer.
2. Alternativt kan du trykke på den tilhørende numeriske knap for at genkalde
den ønskede radiostation.
Sleep autosluk
Radioen slukker af sig selv efter det valgte tidsrum.
1. Tryk på knappen <Sleep> på fjernbetjeningen. Tryk gentagne gange for at
bladre gennem de mulige timerindstillinger, 15 minutter, 30 minutter, 45
minutter, 60 minutter, 90 minutter eller OFF (fra).
2. Tryk på knappen <Select> for at bekræfte dit valg. Radioen går automatisk på
standby, når det valgte tidsrum er forløbet.
3. Hvis du vil annullere autosluk, skal du vælge “OFF” under punktet Set sleep
time.
Opsætning af alarm
1. Tryk på knappen <Alarm1> eller <Alarm 2> for at starte opsætningen.
2. Tryk på knappen ◄ eller ► for at angive alarmtidspunktet, og tryk dernæst på
<Select> for at gå til næste trin.
3. Source: Her vælger du signalkilde for alarmen blandt mulighederne Buzzer,
Digital Radio (DAB) eller FM. Hvis du vælger signalkilde Digital Radio (DAB)
eller FM, vises endnu en valgmulighed ‘Preset’, hvor du skal vælge, om du vil
anvende “Last listened” (sidst lyttet til) eller “Preset station” (fast station).
4. Preset: Ved vækning med DAB eller FM skal du angive, om du vil vækkes af
“Last listened” (sidst lyttet til) eller “Preset station” (fast station).
5. Duration: Du kan angive alarmens varighed til en periode fra 15 minutter til
120 minutter.
