This DVB-T playeris a Free-To-Air digital terrestrialreceiver,
allowing you toaccess free-to-air digitalterrestrial TV channelsand radio
broadcasts.Its digital receptioncovers VHF & UHF band.
Compared with theanalog TV programs, digital TV programseliminate
the noise andinterference but offerhigh quality video and audio.An on-

Insert the battery
Refer to thedrawing, take theback cover ofthe remote controloff
and remove the empty battery receptacle.
Prior to shipping,a separating filmwas applied to the battery.
Remove this film.
Insert the batteryinto the receptacleand insert thereceptacle into
the remote.
For the bestresults,aim the remotetowards at theplayer,sreceiving
window. Staywithin 15 feetand angles of60 degrees orless.
Under normal usethe battery willlast for oneyear.
Remove battery duringstorage or whenyou are not using the DVD
player for along time.

No channels arestored in your
unit. AFirst TimeInstallation
Wizard will appearautomatically
on the screen.Continue with the
OSD (On-Screen-Display) todo
the following setting.
In Advance: Push to ON position on the left side of DVB-T player.
1 A FirstTime InstallationWizard appears. Press¡° LIST OK¡± to
select¡°YES¡±.
2 Press¡°PRO+¡± button / ¡°PRO-¡± button to select the item you
wish to setup, and thenpress ¡°VOL+¡±button / ¡°VOL-¡±button to
switch to yourpreferred setting.
3Press¡°PRO+¡±button / ¡°PRO-¡±button /¡°VOL+¡±button /
¡°VOL-¡±button to select ¡°NEXT¡±, and then press¡°LIST OK¡±to
continue to thenext page.
4 Tostart Auto Search, press¡°LIST OK¡± to select ¡°YES¡±.
All thereceivable programs (includingTV and Music)will be
listed respectively onthe screen.
This process maytake a few minutes to be done.
5 After ProgramSearch is done,press¡°VOL+¡±button / ¡°VOL-
¡±button to selectand start watchingTV programs.

Main Menu
Most of theSettings of yourDVB player canbe done byfollowing
the OSD instructions(*Main Menu). Fordetails on howto set up
by using yourremote control, pleaserefer to Chapter5: Remote
Control Guide.
In Advance:
a. Push(OFF/ON)switch tothe ON position.Toturn on your unit.
b. Press MENU to display the Main Menu.

Step 1. In the Programedit table, press ¡°VOL+¡±button / ¡°VOL-¡±
button to highlight¡°Favor¡± (Favorite Program) section.
Step 2. Under ¡°Favor¡± section, press ¡°PRO+¡±button / ¡°PRO-¡±
button to highlightthe corresponding boxof your favoriteProgram and
press¡°LIST OK¡± .You will see a ¡°Heart¡± icon appear onthis box,
representing that thisprogram is addedto your FavoriteProgram list.
Step 3. Repeat Step 2to add more favorite TV programs.
In Advance:
a. You can set up your Favorite Program by using remote control.
b. You can press ¡°PRO+¡±button / ¡°PRO-¡±button to step through
your Favorite Programonly after oneor more Favoriteprograms are set
up.

Step 1. In the Programedit table, press ¡°VOL+¡±button / ¡°VOL-¡±
button to highlight¡°Move¡± section.
Step 2. Under ¡°Move¡± section, press ¡°PRO+¡±button / ¡°PRO-¡±
button to highlightthe corresponding programbox you wishto change
and press ¡°LIST Ok¡±.
Step 3. Press ¡°PRO+¡±button / ¡°PRO-¡±button to highlight the
corresponding program boxyou wish toexchange, and thenpress
¡°LIST OK¡±You will see a¡°Double-Arrows¡±icon appear on this box,
representing that 2program numbers areswitched.
Step 4. Repeat Step 2through Step 3 to switch more programs.
*To returnto the the up level MENU

Delete Program Setting
Step 1. In the Programedit table, press ¡°VOL+¡±button / ¡°VOL-¡±
button to highlight¡°Del¡± (Delete) section.
Step 2. Under ¡°Del¡± section, press ¡°PRO+¡±button / ¡°PRO-¡±
button to highlightthe corre spondingprogram box youwish to
delete,and press¡°LIST OK¡±.You will see a ¡°Cross¡± icon appear on
this box, representingthat the programis deleted.
Step 3. Repeat Step 2to delete more unwanted programs.

In Advance:
Once the programsare deleted, thereis no wayto add themback. To
watch those deletedprograms, you willneed to doProgram Search
again. Please notethat by doingso, your previousprogram list willbe
replaced.

A-3 TV ProgramList Sorting Setting
You can use this sorting function to re-arrange your program list in
three different ways.
1Under Main Menu,press¡°LIST OK¡±to select ¡°Program List¡±.
2 Under Program List,press¡°LIST Ok¡±to select ¡°Sort¡±.
3Under Sort, press¡°PRO+¡±button / ¡°PRO-¡±button to select your
preferred sorting: ¡°By name¡±, ¡°By Service ID¡± or ¡°By Channel
No.¡±, and thenpress ¡°LIST Ok¡±.

B. Program Search
ToEnjoy the highquality of digitalTV signals throughthe Set Top Box,
you have tosearch for allthe available TVprogram first. This unit
provides you with2 ways ofprogram search, includingAutomatic
Search and ManualSearch.
B-1 Automatic Search
1Under Main Menu,press¡°PRO-¡±button and¡°LIST OK¡± to select
¡°Program Search¡±.
2 Under Program Search,press¡°LIST OK¡±to select ¡°Automatic
Search¡±.
3AnAutomatic Search windowappears on the screen. All the
receivable TV/Music programswill be listed respectively in the TV
List/Music boxes below. This processmay take severalminutes to be
done.
In Advance:
After Program Searchis done, youcan start watchingTV or listening
to Music programsby pressing ¡°PRO+¡± / ¡°PRO-¡±.

You can also press <Search> button tore-do Automatic Search.
If you wantto re-doAutomatic Search, the following will appear on the
screen as thereminder:
Select ¡°YES¡± to re-doAutomatic Search; ifnot, select ¡°NO¡±.
Search
