PUT LEGS ON CARGO HUBS
A. Turn cargo hubs upside down.
B. Install legs 1/8” from edges.
C. Note: cargo hubs 33” and wider include a fifth
leg that should be placed in the center.
PLACE STORAGE INSERTS IN
CARGO HUBS
A. Turn cargo hubs right-side-up.
B. Gently slide storage inserts into cargo hubs.
C. The inserts are designed to slide in and out.
However, an optional 1-1/4” screw can be
added to the bottom of the inserts to secure it
in place.
INSTALL STABILIZER BARS ON
WORKSURFACES
A. Turn worksurfaces upside down.
B. Install stabilizer bars. In some cases, they should
be installed at an angle.
C. Note: only worksurfaces 60” and greater have
stabilizer bars included.

WORKSURFACES
A. Worksurfaces should remain upside down.
B. Install 3-3/8” support legs 2” from edges.
INSTALL 28” SUPPORT LEGS ON
WORKSURFACES
A. Worksurfaces should remain upside down.
B. Placement of the 28” legs varies. Refer to
project drawings and Purchase Order.
INSTALL MODESTY PANELS ON
WORKSURFACES
A. Worksurfaces should remain upside down.
B. Install laminate modesty panels using supplied
12” long L-brackets, or install acrylic modesty
panels using 1-5/8”W x 3/4”H steel clips. (These
are the same clips for installing acrylic privacy
panels above the worksurface).
C. Use the following bracket quantities:
Quantity 2 for modesties up to 48”.
Quantity 3 for modesties 54” to 66”.
Quantity 4 for modesties 72” or more.
D. Modesty panel placement varies. Refer to project drawings and Purchase Order.
E. NOTE: on some configurations such as a double-pedestal desks, the modesty panel should be
attached to the cargo hub by screwing through the back of the open cargo hub and into the
modesty panel.

PLACE CARGO HUBS IN
APPROXIMATE CONFIGURATION
A. Position cargo hubs in their approximate
configuration.
B. Level using adjustable glides. (NOTE: proper
leveling at this stage is critical. Do not put this
off until later in the process.)
FLIP OVER WORKSURFACES AND
PLACE ON TOP OF CARGO HUBS
A. Gently position the worksurfaces on top of the
cargo hubs.
B. For optimal weight distribution, the 3-3/8”
worksurface supports should be placed on the
outer or inner 1/3 of the cargo hub.
ASSEMBLE SPINE WALL
A. Join spine wall sections together using supplied
dowels.
B. Center spine wall panels will have dowel holes
on both sides, while end spine wall panels will
have dowel holes on one side only.
C. Wall sections should be tightly abutting each
other before you proceed to the next step.

LEVEL SPINE WALL
A. Locate the small holes approximately 3” from
the ground in each spine wall.
B. Using a 5/32 Allen wrench, adjust the glides so
that the wall sections are of even height.
ATTACH SPINE WALL TO
WORKSURFACES
A. Use 12” L-brackets, 8” cantilever brackets, or
12” cantilever brackets. (These items should
appear on your packing list or P.O.)
B. Always install brackets first to worksurfaces,
then to walls.
C. To enhance spine wall stability, place 12”
brackets so that they straddle the wall’s seams.
D. Some applications require attachment of cargo
hubs to the spine wall by drilling a screw
through the back panel of the cargo hub and
into the wall.
INSTALL PRIVACY PANELS
A. Attach the steel clips onto the worksurface or
on top of a spine wall.
For laminate or glass privacy panels,
use the two-piece 2”x 2” steel clips.
For acrylic privacy panels, use the one-
piece 1-5/8”W x 3/4”H steel clips.
See drawing for panel placement.
B. Align the privacy panel so that it is seated snugly
in the clip.
C. Tighten the clip using a Phillips screwdriver (for
2”x 2” two-piece clips) or an Allen wrench (for 1-
5/8” x 3/4” clips.
