INTRODUCCIÓN
Gracias por elegir el Detectalia M8. Esta máquina ha sido diseñada para contar y clasificar las
monedas y simplificar el arqueo de caja de su negocio. Con su función de separación de monedas
obtendrá el valor total y los parciales de cada moneda. La función de paradas le permitirá obtener cajas
o bolsas del número deseado. Si tiene alguna pregunta después de leer el manual contacte con el
vendedor.

1. Seguridad
v No utilice spray inflamable para limpiar el dispositivo.
v Si la máquina está en almacenada a baja temperatura deberá ponerla en
una habitación a temperatura entre 0º C y 40º C al menos dos horas antes.
v Evite introducir cualquier elemento que no sean monedas.
v Si la máquina emite un sonido extraño o se atasca, detenga la máquina y
desmonte la goma a presión para asegurarse de que todo esté en buenas
condiciones.
v No desarme la máquina hasta que desconecte la fuente de alimentación.
v Para evitar el peligro de electrocución, no toque el cable de alimentación
con las manos mojadas.
v Para evitar incendios o cortocircuitos, desenchufe la unidad si desea
moverla a otra posición.
v Sostenga el enchufe desconectando la unidad de la toma de corriente, no
tire del cable ya que puede dañarse.

2. Descripción
2.1 Panel de control

3. Trabajar con el equipo
Siga estas instrucciones para obtener un resultado óptimo:
• Coloque la máquina sobre una superficie sólida y plana.
• Conecte el cable de alimentación a la máquina y a la red eléctrica.
• La máquina realizará un auto test. En la pantalla aparecerá el mensaje “WAIT”
• Ponga las monedas en la tolva asegurándose que no haya monedas extranjeras u otros elementos
como papel o suciedad.
• Presione el botón “START/STOP” y comience a contar y separar las monedas, puede ir echando
más monedas en la tolva en pequeñas cantidades, la adición en pequeñas cantidades de monedas
ofrece una mayor velocidad en el proceso y un mayor transporte de las monedas en el interior del
dispositivo.
• Las monedas irán a sus respectivos recipientes de acuerdo con el tamaño de las mismas. Cuando
se complete uno de los recipientes el dispositivo se detendrá.
4. Funciones
4.1 Contar
Cuando se inicia el dispositivo la máquina está por defecto en el modo de contado. La siguiente
información se mostrará en la pantalla:

El valor superior indica el número de monedas contadas (PCS) y el valor inferior representa el valor
nominal de las monedas contadas.

4.2 Informe detallado del valor contado
Al pulsa el botón “REP” se puede obtener el valor detallado del importe contado. Presione de nuevo el
botón “REP” para pasar al valor de la moneda siguiente. Presione el botón “START / STOP para volver
al gran total.

5. Configuración
En el modo de pantalla normal presione el botón “SET” para entrar en el modo de configuración.
Presione el botón “START/STOP” para salir del menú de configuración en cualquier momento.
5.1 Configurar el valor Batch
La primera opción en el modo configuración es para configurar el número al que deseamos se pare en
cada moneda y su respectivo recipiente. Se mostrará en pantalla la siguiente información: el valor de
arriba indica el valor de la moneda seleccionada y el valor inferior el número al que deseamos se
detenga. El valor 0 indica que se detendrá al valor establecido en fábrica.

Presione el botón “PRINT” para cambiar de tipo de moneda. Use los botones “+” y “-” para ajustar los
valores deseados de parada. Si se mantienen presionados los botones “+” o “-” los valores se
incrementarán o disminuirán de 10 en 10. Pulse el botón “CLEAR” para borrar el valor de parada. Pulse
y mantenga pulsado el botón “CLEAR” al menos 2 segundos para borrar todos los valores de parada.
Si se llega a la parada programada, la máquina se detendrá y se mostrará en la pantalla:
Se ha llegado a la parada programada de 0,20€
Retire las monedas de 0,20€ y presione el botón “START/STOP” para seguir contando.
En la pantalla principal use el botón “+” para activar o desactivar el modo Batch (BAT). Cuando
se active aparecerá en la parte superior izquierda de la pantalla “BAT ON”

5.2 Cantidad máxima de monedas por recipiente o bolsas.
La segunda opción del modo de configuración es seleccionar el tipo de contenedor. En el modo de
pantalla normal presione dos veces el botón “SET” para abrir el menú. Presione el botón “PRINT” para
seleccionar el contenedor deseado.

Presione el botón “PRINT” para cambiar entre los diferentes tipos de recipientes y use los botones “+” y
“-” para mostrar los valores máximos permitidos.
En cualquier caso, tanto si se ha activado o no la función Batch, si se alcanza el valor máximo la
máquina se detendrá y se mostrará en la pantalla:
Se ha llegado al valor máximo de monedas de 2,00€.
Retire las monedas del recipiente y continúe contando al pulsar el botón “START/STOP”.

5. 3 Impresión
Conecte la impresora Detectalia PT2 al equipo para imprimir los resultados fácilmente, solo debe pulsar
el botón “PRINT”
5.4 Fecha y hora
La tercera opción del menú de configuración es para establecer la fecha y hora. En la pantalla en modo
normal, pulse tres veces el botón “SET”.
Presione el botón “PRINT para cambiar entre año (Y), mes (M), día (D) y hora. Para ajustar los valores
presione los botones “+” o “-“.
6. Errores y mantenimiento
Este dispositivo está equipado con una gestión integral de errores para informarle sobre problemas en
el procesamiento del dinero, pero también para llamar la atención sobre la contaminación de los
sensores. Preste especial atención a las siguientes instrucciones para limpiar la máquina a fin de evitar
errores causados por sensores contaminados y para obtener un resultado óptimo al contar las
monedas.

7. Mantenimiento
Debido al polvo y suciedad que portan las monedas se pueden generar depósitos frente a los sensores
de la máquina y en el área de transporte de las monedas. Estas impurezas pueden provocar problemas
durante el transporte y la clasificación de las monedas.
Limpie el cepillo de transporte y los sensores del dispositivo a intervalos regulares. En general,
recomendamos una limpieza breve al final de la jornada laboral, este proceso solo lleva unos
minutos. Cuando limpie la máquina, apague siempre el aparato y desenchufe el enchufe.
7.1 ¿Cómo desmontar la cinta transportadora?
Deslice el interruptor de bloqueo de seguridad en la parte posterior hasta el símbolo de bloqueo abierto.
Gire los dos mecanismos de apertura de los laterales de acuerdo con la impresión hacia adelante y tire
de la tapa del dispositivo hacia arriba. Al acceder al interior verá el área de clasificación del dispositivo.
Mantenga presionado la cinta transportadora verticalmente hacia abajo y gírela a la posición central
entre 1 y 2, luego tire del mecanismo hacia arriba.

7.2 ¿Cómo limpiar la cinta transportadora y los sensores?
Puede limpiar la cinta transportadora y los sensores con el cepillo de limpieza. Al limpiar los sensores, se
recomienda retirar las cajas de monedas de los soportes y limpiar los sensores emparejados a través de
las tuberías de las monedas individuales. Además, la cita transportadora también debe limpiarse.
Después de la limpieza, vuelva a colocar el mecanismo completo de transporte en la posición original,
inserte la cubierta del dispositivo en el dispositivo y coloque el interruptor de bloqueo de seguridad en la
parte posterior del símbolo de cierre cerrado e inserte las cajas de monedas de nuevo en el dispositivo.
7.3 Cinta transportadora
La cinta transportadora está diseñada para contar 900.000 monedas, después de contar 400.000
recibirá el siguiente mensaje.
El cepillo de transporte debe cambiarse a la segunda posición para compensar la abrasión causada por
el transporte de las monedas. Para hacer esto, apague la máquina, abra la cubierta de la máquina como
se describe en la sección de limpieza y presione el cepillo de transporte verticalmente hacia abajo, luego
gire el cepillo de transporte en el sentido de las agujas del reloj hasta la segunda posición. Cierre la tapa
y encienda la máquina, luego recibirá de nuevo la pantalla anterior. Confirme el mensaje anterior
presionando las teclas "REP" y "-", también puede presionar la tecla "START / STOP" para salir de la
pantalla anterior y realizar el proceso de conteo, pero cuando lo encienda la próxima vez, recibirá el

Al contar 900,000 monedas deberá cambiar la cinta transportadora, recibirá el siguiente mensaje:
Si este es el caso, apague la máquina, saque el mecanismo usado, monte la nueva cinta de transporte y
cambie a la posición 1, recuerde que debe realizar una limpieza.
Mantenga presionadas las teclas "REP" y "-", encienda la máquina hasta que aparezca el siguiente
mensaje, presione la tecla "CLEAR" para borrar el contador de brochas.

8. Cambiar el fusible
El dispositivo está protegido por un fusible, que puede intercambiar fácilmente.
Apague la máquina antes de quitar el fusible y desenchufe el cable de alimentación de la unidad. De lo
contrario, existe riesgo de muerte debido a una descarga eléctrica.
Retire la tapa del fusible y reemplace el fusible con un fusible equivalente. El candado del fusible debe
presionarse firmemente nuevamente después de cambiar.

simplify the daily cash or vending machine billing. Through the sorting function the coins can be inserted
mixed and you will then get the result per coin type and, of course, the total sum. Batch counting allows

1. Warning
v Do not use flammable spray to clean machine.
v If the machine is exposed to cold environment for a long time, it is necessary
to sustain it at room temperature about two hours before use.
v Please pay attention that no foreign objects (e.g., paper clips, paper of coin
tubes) fall in the machine, these can block the engines and the sensitive
sensors of the machine and damage or destroy them.
v In the edge of the hopper, there is a warning line (“FULL LINE”), the coins in
the hopper can’t exceed the line, otherwise, it will affect the performance of
the machine.
v If the unit makes unusual noise or gets stuck while the counting process is
running, switch off the machine and check whether foreign objects are inside
the unit.
v Please do not grab into the hopper while the counting process is
running. Always stop the machine to prevent injuries.
v Do not disassemble the machine unless the power supply is cut off.
v To prevent shock hazard, do not touch power cable with wet hands.
v To prevent fire or short circuit, unplug the unit if you want to move it to
another position.
v Hold the plug disconnecting the unit from the power outlet, do not pull the
cord as it can be damaged.

3 Putting into operation
Please follow the below tips for using the machine to receive an optimum counting results:
• Place the unit on a stable and flat surface.
• Connect the power plug to the wall outlet and the power cable to the unit and switch it on.
• The unit now performs a self-test. The display shows “WAIT” during this test run.
• Pour the coins into the coin hopper. Please ensure that no foreign objects (such as paper residues
from coin rolls) or coins from other currencies enter the machine.
• Press the “START/STOP” button and start the counting and sorting process and fill the coins in
small quantities into the hopper. The continuous filling of smaller quantities ensures a faster and
better transport of the coins over the coin transport wheel.
• The coins are now sorted on the individual coin pockets. When all coins have been counted and
sorted, the counting process is automatically stopped.
4. Functions
4.1 Counting
After power up, the machine is automatically in counting mode. The following display appears on the
LCD:

The upper value indicates the number of counted coins (PCS), and the lower value represents the
nominal value of the counted coins.

4.2 Report / Detailed counting result
By pressing the “REP” key, you can call up the detailed results per coin denomination after a counting
operation. Press the “REP” button again to jump to the next coin value. Press the “START / STOP”
button to return to the grand total.

5. Settings in the setup menu
In the standard display, press the “SET” button to enter the setup menu. Press the “START/STOP”
button to exit the setup menu at any time.
5.1 Batch value setting
The first setting in the setup menu is the point under which you can specify the batch value/counting
stop for the individual coin boxes. The following is displayed: the upper value indicates the value of the
selected coin; the lower value is the set count stop at which the machine should stop counting. The
value zero means that no counting stop is desired.

Press the “PRINT” key to toggle between the counting stops of the individual coin types. Use the “+” and
“-” buttons to adjust the values. If you press and hold the “+” or “-” buttons, the value will be
increased/decreased in steps of 10 steps. Press the “CLEAR” key to delete a set count stop. Press and
hold the “CLEAR” button for approx. 2 seconds to clear all set count stops. If the counting stop of a
coin type is reached, the machine stops the counting process and you receive the following display:

Press the “START/STOP” button to resume counting.
Use the “+” key to activate and deactivate the set batch counting in normal counting mode.

5.2. Maximum amount of coins per coin boxes and bags
The second setting option in the setup is the setting of the container type. In the standard display, press
the “SET” button twice to open the menu point. Press “PRINT” key to select container type.

Pressing the “PRINT” key will toggle between the different receptacles (box, money bag, tube) and use
the “+” and “-” buttons to display the maximum values of the individual coin values.
If the maximum value of a coin type is reached, you receive the following message:
Maximum value reached at 2.00 Euros.
If you have removed the coins from the coin box, you can continue the counting process by pressing the
“START/STOP” key.
5.3. Printer function
Our printer Detectalia PT2 can be connected to the device without further settings or activation. Please
note that we do not provide any support and no warranty in connection with the device for accessories
not approved by us.
