Use the Home Control Room Thermostat as described in these instructions and in the Home Contro
help to prevent damage and injuries.
Except for occasional battery replacement, the Home Control Room Thermo
completely maintenance-free. Otherwise, the device contains no user-servi
parts!

devolo Home Control
Home Co trol (also k ow as home automatio ) refers to the specific co trol of electrically operated
household devices. The Home Co trol system by devolo uses the Z-WaveTM wireless sta dard.
A Home Co trol system requires a Z-WaveTM-compatible co trol u it such as the Home Co trol Ce t
from devolo. Use its Home Co trol portal to coordi ate the Home Co trol Room Thermostat a d
Home Co trol devices. You ca access the Home Co trol Ce tral U it through the my devolo app

Batteries
Always keep batteries away from open flame and high temperatures. Avoid dire
sunlight and radiant heat!
Always remove all batteries from battery-operated devices that are only in storag
and are not in use. Old batteries can leak and damage the device!
Do not use rechargeable batteries!
When inserting the batteries, ensure that the polarity is correct. Using the batterie
incorrectly can damage the device!
The Home Control Room Thermostat uses commercially available AA alkaline ba
mation on replacing the battery, please refer to the Home Control online help.

Installing the Home Control Room Thermostat
If installing to a wall using screws, make sure that no gas, water or power li
the wall get damaged. There is a danger of electric shock!
Only use the Home Control Room Thermostat indoors.
