Introduction
This Branch 2.0 lets you add more USB 2.0
peripherals to your desktop computer or
Notebook. The Branch 2.0 has 4 downstream
ports which will connect either the new USB
2.0 high performance peripherals or the
legacy USB 1.1 devices. This means it is fully
“backwards compatible” with all your exist-
ing USB products. The Hub is 100% comp-
liant with the USB 2.0 specifications.
The Branch 2.0 will allow users to add multi-
ple higher performance peripherals such as
high resolution video conferencing cameras,
and next generation of USB 2.0 scanners,
printers, and fast storage devices.
The Hub will allow you to connect up to 127
USB devices to your Notebook and comes
with a USB 2.0 cable.

Hardware Installation
In order to get the USB 2.0 performance,
make sure to properly install the USB 2.0
4-Port Hub to your desktop computer or to
your Notebook.
Step 1:
Connect the USB 2.0 cable to your desktop
computer or Notebook.
Step 2:
Connect the USB 2.0 cable to the Hub.
Step 3:
Plug the power adapter into the AC outlet
of the wall or the power strip (optionally).
Step 4:
Connect the plug of the power adapter to
the Hub (optionally).

The red LED will lit after the above steps are
properly installed.
Now, you can connect the USB 2.0 or USB
1.1 devices to the downstream ports of the
Hub.

Der Branch 2.0 ermöglicht den Anschluss
von Peripheriegeräten an den Rechner über
den USB 2.0-Anschluss. Der Hub hat 4
Downstream-Ports an die sowohl die neuen
USB 2.0-kompatiblen Hochgeschwindigkeits-
geräte als auch die etwas älteren USB 1.1-
Geräte angeschlossen werden können. Dies
bedeutet, daß der Hub auch „abwärts kom-
patibel“ zu allen existierenden USB-Geräten
ist. Der Hub ist 100-prozentig konform mit
allen USB 2.0-Spezifikationen.
Der Branch 2.0 ermöglicht den Anschluss
von mehreren Hochleistungsgeräten wie
Hochauflösungs-Videokonferenzkameras
oder die neueste Generation von USB 2.0-
Geräten wie Scanner, Drucker und schnellen
Speichergeräten.
Der Hub erlaubt den Anschluss von bis zu

Hardware-Installation
Um die volle USB 2.0-Leistung zu erzielen,
installieren Sie bitte den USB 2.0 4-Port
HUB korrekt an Ihrem Rechner oder an
Ihrem Notebook.
Schritt 1:
Schliessen Sie das USB 2.0-Kabel an Ihrem
Desktop-Rechner oder an Ihrem Notebook
an.
Schritt 2:
Schliessen Sie das USB 2.0 Kabel an den
Hub.
Schritt 3:
Schliessen Sie die Stromversorgung an die
Stromsteckdose (optional).
Schritt 4:
Schliessen Sie den Stecker des Netzteils an
den Hub an (optional).
Die rote LED wird aufleuchten, wenn Sie
alle Schritte richtig befolgt haben.
Jetzt können Sie USB 2.0- oder 1.1-Geräte
an die Downstream-Ports Ihres Hubs an-
schliessen.

Introduction
Branch 2.0 permet de connecter des appar-
eils périphériques à votre ordinateur par
l’intermédiaire du port USB 2.0. Le concen-
trateur comporte 4 ports downstream per-
mettant de connecter aussi bien les nouve-
aux appareils à grande vitesse compatibles
USB 2.0 que les versions plus anciennes
USB 1.1. Le concentrateur est donc «com-
patible rétroactivement» avec tous les pé-
riphériques USB existants. Il est conforme à
100% à toutes les spécifications USB 2.0.
Grâce à Branch 2.0, vous pouvez connecter
plusieurs appareils très puissants, comme

Instalación de Hardware

Paso 1:

dotato di 4 porte downstream adatte sia ai
nuovi apparecchi ad alta velocità compatibili
con USB 2.0 che ai precedenti apparecchi
USB 1.1. Lo hub quindi è anche “retrocom-
patibile” con tutti gli apparecchi USB esis-
tenti, a parte la compatibilità al 100 % con
la specifica USB 2.0.
Branch 2.0 è concepito per il collegamento
di diversi apparecchi d’alte prestazioni, ad
esempio videocamere ad alta risoluzione
