Beschrijving van het product
Voor het bewaken van een modelspoorbaan door middel van een pc of route controle systeem
(Marklin Memory, IB switch) is een constante info van spoor bezetmelding esseneel. De s88
bus is een standaard voor digitale systemen om deze bezetmeldingen door te geven aan de cen-
trale. De terugmeldmodules worden op deze bus aangesloten om de gedetecteerde bezetmel-
dingen via deze bus door te geven aan de centrale unit.
De DR4088 is een 16 kanaals decoder die in staat is 16 seces te detecteren en door te geven.
De DR4088 kan op verschillende manieren worden aangesloten; over de standaard bus of over
de s88-N netwerk kabels. Ook een combinae van beiden is mogelijk. Een handigheid die wij
hebben aan gebracht is een bezet meld led die aangee dat er een in een kanaal acviteit is.
Hoe meer kanalen acef zijn des te feller licht de LED op. Dit kan zeer handig zijn jdens het
aansluiten en testen van de module of jdens fout zoeken.

General
A constant ow of track occupaon informaon is essenal for monitoring a model railway with
a PC or route control system (Marklin Memory, IB switch). The S88 bus is a standard used by dig-
ital systems to send occupied nocaons to the central unit. The feedback modules are con-
nected to the bus to send the track occupaon nocaons to the central unit.
The DR4088 is a 16-channel decoder capable of monitoring 16 secons and transming this in-
formaon. The DR4088 can be connected in dierent ways: either to the bus or with standard
s88-N network cables. It is also possible to combine both. A useful addion we have made is an
LED that indicates when there is acvity in a channel. The more channels that are acve the
brighter the LED lights up. This can be very useful when connecng and tesng the module or
during troubleshoong.

Produktbeschreibung
Ein konstanter Informaonsuss zur Gleisbesetzung ist notwendig, um mit einem PC oder Rou-
tenkontrollsystem (Marklin Memory, IB Schalter) die Modelleisenbahn zu überwachen. Der S88
Bus wird von Digirails standardmäßig benutzt, um Meldungen über die Gleisbesetzung an die
Zentraleinheit zu schicken. Die Rückmelder Module sind mit dem Bus verbunden, um die Mel-
dungen über die Gleisbesetzung an die Zentraleinheit zu schicken.
Der DR4088 ist ein 16-kanäliger Decoder, mit dem man 16 Sekonen überwachen kann und die-
se Informaonen weiterleiten kann. Der DR4088 kann auf verschiedene Weisen angeschlossen
werden: entweder über den Bus oder mit Standard s88-N Netzwerk Kabeln. Man kann auch bei-
de Möglichkeiten kombinieren. Zusätzlich haben wir ein LED Licht eingebaut, das aueuchtet,
wenn ein Kanal akviert ist. Je mehr Kanäle akv sind, desto heller leuchtet das LED Licht. Dies
kann bei der Anschließung, bei Testversuchen oder bei Problemlösung sehr nützlich sein.

Général
Pour surveiller un chemin de fer miniature avec un PC ou un système de contrôle de la route
(Marklin Memory, interrupteur IB), il faut un ux d’informaons constant. Le bus S88 est un
standard employé par les systèmes digirail pour envoyer des nocaons d’occupaon à l’unité
centrale. Les modules de feed-back sont connectés au bus pour l’envoi de nocaons à l’unité
centrale.
Le DR4088 est un décodeur à 16 canaux, qui est en mesure de surveiller 16 secons et de trans-
mere cee informaon.Il existent diérentes manières pour connecter le DR4088: soit par le
bus, soit par des câbles réseau standard s88-N. On peut aussi combiner les deux. Nous avons
ajouté une lampe LED qui indique l’acvité sur un canal. L’intensité de la lampe correspond au
nombre de canaux acfs. Ceci peut être très ule pendant la connexion et l’essai du module ou
en cas de dépannage.
