Introduction
PW-HT202 is a HDMI extender while using CAT-5E/6 cable as transmission media. the
transmission distance for 1080P reaches 40 meters. the IR system could control the sources from
the sinks or control the sinks from sources.
PW-HT202 offers solutions for digital entertainment center, HDTV retail and show site, HDTV,
STB, DVD and Projector factory, noise, space and security concerns, data center control,
information distribution, conference room presentation, school and corporate training
environments.
One pair as a full functional module, no need for setting.
Use single UTP LAN cable (CAT-5E/6) to substitute HDMI cable to achieve long distance
transmission.
UTP cable termination follows the standard of IEEE-568B.
Transmission distance reaches up to 40 meters under the video format of 1080P.
Auto-adjustment of feedback, equalization and amplify, the user does not need to care about
the length of the cable.
HDMI V1.3b supported.
Each port supports HDMI or DVI inputs.
HDCP compliant.
With LED indicators to show the power and video signal status.
With ESD protection inside.
Mounting ears supplied.
Transfer Infrared control signal together with the HDMI signal.
This model could be cascaded.

Connections and Operations
1) Connect the HDMI input source (such as: HD-DVD、PS3、STB etc. ) into PW-HT202T.
2) Connect CAT-5E cables to both the outputs of EX0101- N52 and inputs of PW-HT202R. (The
cables must follow the standard of EIA/TIA 568B )
3) Connect the HDMI output (such as : HD-LCD、HD-DLP) into XZ0101-RX.
4) Connect the IR TX UNIT into PW-HT202T IR TX, Connect the IR RX UNIT into PW-HT202R IR RX.
5) DIP SWITCH Description.
NOTE: DIP switch from left to right match Position in the table below. ON: 1, OFF: 0

PW-HT202R (belows are suggestions for users to chose when you use different length of
UTP. Of course, different environment the transport distance of UTP will be different.

Note1: PW-HT202T will use the embedded 1080P-stereo compatible EDID when the DIP
switch is in this mode.
Note2: PW-HT202T will use the embedded 1080p 5.1 EDID when the DIP switch is in
this mode.
Note3: PW-HT202T will Copy EDID from display when the DIP switch is in this mode.
Note4: PW-HT202T will use the embedded 1080i stereo EDID when the DIP switch is in
this mode.
