1.0INTRODUCTION
CE-Link sHCL0101HDMIExtenderbyCAT-5e/6usestwopiecesofCAT-5e/6
cablestoextend theHDTVdisplayup to30mertersfor 1080pusing Cat6cable.
Itnotonlybreaksthe limitationoftheHDMIcabletransmission length，butalso
CAT-5e/6hasmoreflexibilityand convenienceincableconstruction.
ItisequippedwithHDMI(highdefinition multimediainterface)connectorsand is
capableofsupporting DVI (digitalvisualinterface)equipmentwhen usedwithan
HDMItoDVIAdapter,providinggreater flexibilityand optionswhenintegrating
severalhometheatercomponents.
HCL0101 offerssolutionsforresidentialconsumers:HDTV retailandshowsite,
HDTV, STB, DVDandProjectorfactories,noise, spaceandsecurityconcerns,
datacentercontrol,informationdistribution,conferenceroompresentation, school
andcorporatetraining environments.
1.1BENEFITS
1) ThelengthofHDMIcableisfixedandunchangeableafter itisproduced.
BecausetheHDMIconnector can onlybe solderedor terminatedbythe
professionalworkersinfactory,the userscan notreduceor increaseby
themselves.However CAT-5e/6cablesareavailableeverywhereand be
processedeasilybythe useror installer.
2) Becausethe header ofthelongHDMIcableisbig,usingitmustinhidden
method.What'smore,itisnoteasytobendthe HDMIcableandtopullit
through thein-walltubeor tray.However,CAT-5e/6cablehasnosuch
problems.
3) UsingHCL0101,thetransmissiondistancecanbeupto60 metersfor480p
whileusing CAT-5e/6cable.For thegeneralHDMIcables,theymustbe
customized whenthe lengthisover10 meters.

6.0TROUBLESHOOTING
Iftheproductdoesntappear tobe functioning,makecertainthatthere are four
pointsyoushouldpayattention.
First,checkthe connectionbetweentheHdmicableandtheextender correctly.
Theyallshouldbeconnected withalength6feetor less.(Inotherwords,make
certainthatthe problemisnotcausedbylong cables).
Second,mearsure thecablelengthyouareattempting tousebetweenthe sender
andthereceiver.Theyallshouldconnected correctlybyCat-6 cablefor
1080p.then,theycanreachthelengthof30M.Andifusecat5e/6cablefor
480p,theycanreach60M.
Ifthesignalispresentunder thoseconditions,makecertainthatthepower is
presenttotheproduct. If itis,all cablesshouldbepremiumquality.
Lastly,inspectthecablesandconnectorsfor damage.
7.0LIMITED WARRANTY
Shouldanyconsumerproduct fromChinaElectronicsTechnologyLimitedfaildue
todefectsinmaterialsorworkmanshipwithinoneyear fromthedateofthe
originalsaletotheend-user,ChinaElectronicsTechnologyLimited guarantees
thatwewillreplacethedefectiveproductatnocost.Freightchargesfor the
replacementunitwill bepaidbythecustomers.Acopyofthe invoiceshowing
the itemnumberanddateofpurchase(proof-of-purchase) mustbesubmittedwith
the defectiveunit toconstituteavalidin-warrantyclaim.
Unitsthatfailafterthe warrantyperiod hasexpired maybe returned tothe factory
forrepairatanominalcharge,ifnotdamaged beyond thepointofrepair.All
freightchargesfor out-of-warrantyreturnsforrepairarethe responsibilityofthe
customer.Unitsreturned forrepairmusthaveaReturn Authorization Number
assignedbythefactory.
Thisisalimitedwarrantyand isnotapplicableforproductswhich,inouropinion,
havebeendamaged,altered,abused,misused,or improperlyinstalled.China
