OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
POWER SOURCE
1. Connect the AC adaptor to the DC IN jack on the back of of the unit firmly, and plug
it into a wall outlet.
2. Slide the power switch on the back of the unit to “ON” positon, the unit is in standby
mode, and the standby indicator will change to red colour.
3. You can now press the button on unit or remote control to turn on the unit. The
standby indicator will be changed to light off.
4. Slide the power switch on the back of the unit to “OFF” positon, and pull the AC
adaptor out of the wall outlet if you want to switch off completely.
CLOCK SETTING
During in the STANDBY mode:
1. Press and hold PROG. button on unit or remote control until the time displays 24-
hour digit flashing.
2. Press or button to adjust 12-hour or 24-hour digit.
3. Press PROG. button again, the time display HOUR digit flashes, press the or
button to adjust HOUR digit. Press PROG. button once more, the MINUTE digit
flashes, adjust it by the or button.
4. Press PROG. button again to confirm the time.
5. Each enable state as shown above will be cleared if the key is not pushed in 10
seconds.
RADIO OPERATION
TUNNING
1. Press button on unit or remote control to turn on the unit and press MODE button
on the unit or remote control to select the TUNER mode.
2. Press or button on unit or remote control will change the frequency by 0.05MHz.
3. Press or button for approx. 1 second to active automatic tuning. Automatic
tuning stops when the first station with a sufficiently strong signal has been found.
The display shows STEREO when a stereo signal is beiing received.
MONO/ STEREO SELECT
This unit can receive the FM mode only. When you press FM MONO/STOP button on
remote control, the FM STEREO indicator will turn off & switch to MONO FM status.
STATION MEMORY
You can also preset stations of your choice and store up 20 FM stations in its memory.
1. Tune to the required station.
2. Press PROG. button on remote control. The station number
flashes in the display.
3. Press PRESET/FOLDER(UP or DN) button on remote
control for your desired station number.
4. Press PROG. button to store the station.
5. Repeat steps 1 to 4 to store more stations or change previously stored stations.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
LISTENING TO CD or MP3 DISC
1. Press FUNCTION button on the unit or remote control to select the CD mode.
2. Open the disc tray and insert the CD/MP3 disc into the disc tray. The unit will read
the CD/MP3 disc automatically.
3. Turn volume control up or down on unit or press VOLUME + or -button on remote
control to adjust the volume.
AUDIO CD PLAYBACK
1. When the disc tray is closed and a CD is inside, the total
number of the tracks and playing time appear in the display
and the first track will play automatically. The CD indicator
will always show on the display when the unit is in CD mode.
2. If there has no disc inside, the display will show “NO DISC”
and remain in stop mode.
3. If the disc tray is not closed, the display will show “OPEN”.
AUDIO MP3 PLAYBACK
1. When the disc tray is closed and a MP3 playback disc is
inside, the total number of the folders and tracks in the disc
show on the display and the first track will play
automatically. The current folder number always show on
the display when the unit is in MP3 mode.
2. If there has no disc inside, the display will show “NO DISC”
and remain in stop mode.
3. If the disc tray is not closed, the display will show “OPEN”.
4. Press and hold RANDOM/ID3 button on remote control. The display will show “ID3
ON”, and then it will automatically search more than 64 letters of “TITLE NAME”,
“ARTIST NAME” which move from the right corner to the left coner on the display
continuously.
5. Press and hold RANDOM/ID3 button again, the display will shows “ID3 OFF”, and
then the unit will play normaly.
PLAY/PAUSE MODE
1. When PLAY/PAUSE button is pressed during CD/MP3 stop mode, the first track will
play. The track number and elapsed track playing time appear in the display.
2. For interruption while the CD/MP3 playback disc is playing, press PLAY/PAUSE
button once. Playback is now paused, the elapsed track playing time will stop.
3. Though the sound stops, the disc will continue to spin. To re-start playback, press
PLAY/PAUSE buton again. The music will start from the exact position where it was
interrupted.
4. To stop the CD/MP3 playback, press FM MONO/ST or STOP button once in Play or
Pause mode.
5. Press buton to turn off the unit.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
SKIP and SEARCH MODE
1. In play or pause mode, when or button on remote control is pressed once, the
player will advance to the next track or return to the beginning of the track.
2. During play mode, when or button is pressed and held, it will search the track
with audible high-speed forward or backward playback.
FOLDER MODE(MP3 only)
In play or stop mode, press PRESET/FOLDER(UP or DN) button on remote control, the
folder will advance to the next or return to previous folder.
REPEAT and INTRO MODE(CD)
1. Repeat One:
When the CD play mode, press REPEAT/INTRO button
once, the REPEAT indicator show on the display. This
single track of music will be repeated.
2. Repeat All:
When the CD play mode, press REPEAT/INTRO button
twice, the REPEAT ALL indicator show on the display. The
whole disc will be played continuously.
3. Intro
When the CD play mode, press REPEAT/INTRO button
third time, the INTRO indicator show on the display. It will
play the first 10 seconds of each track.
4. To cancel the function
Press REPEAT/INTRO button repeatedly until no indicator appears on the display,
and standard playback resumes.

REPEAT MODE and INTRO MODE(MP3)
1. Repeat One:
When the MP3 play mode, press REPEAT/INTRO button
once, the REPEAT indicator show on the display. This
single track of music will be repeated.
2. Repeat Album:
When the MP3 play mode, press REPEAT/INTRO button
twice, the REPEAT ALBUM indicator show on the DISPLAY.
The whole folder of the MP3 music will be played
continuously.
3. Repeat ALL:
When the MP3 play mode, press REPEAT/INTRO button
third time, the REPEAT ALL indicator show on the display.
The whole disc will be played continuously.
4. Intro
When the MP3 play mode, press REPEAT/INTRO button
fouth time, the INTRO indicator show on the display. It will
play the first 10 seconds of each track.
5. To cancel the function
Press REPEAT/INTRO button repeatedly until no indicator appears on the display,
and standard playback resumes.
RANDOM PLAY MODE
This feature allows the track on the disc to be played in random order.
1. Press RANDOM/ID3 button. The RANDOM indicator will
show on the display and all music will play in random order.
2. To cancel the Random play function, press RANDOM
button again. The RANDOM indicator will disappear from
the display.

PROGRAM MODE
1. During the stop mode, press PROG. button on unit or
remote control. The total number of track will blink
continuously and the number of program to be memorized
starts from the first program “PR:01” on the display.
2. Press or button to your desired musical track, the
display will show the appropriate track number. Press
PROG. button again to store this track in memory.
3. Repeat above procedure until all desired tracks have been
programmed.
4. For CD playback, a total of 20 tracks can be stored in memory. For MP3 playback, a
total of 99 tracks can be stored in memory.
5. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button once to start the program playback.
6. To check the program you have stored after complete programming press PROG.
button once, the display will show the first programmed track number. Repeat above
procedure to read all the programmed memory.
7. To cancel the programmed memory:
•During the stop mode, press the STOP button once, or
•Open the disc tray during the stop mode.
The Program Indicator will disappear from the display.
LISTENING TO THE iPhone/iTouch/iPod
1. Place the iPhone/iTouch/iPod in the dock.
2. Press FUNCTION button to select the IPOD mode.
3. Press PLAY/PAUSE button to pause/resume play.
4. In play or pause mode, when or button on remote control is pressed once, it
will advance to the next track or return to the beginning of the track.
5. During play mode, when or button is pressed and held, it will search the track
with audible high-speed forward or backward playback.
6. To navigate the menu, press MENU button on remote control, then press / to
select, and press OK to confirm.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

CHARGE THE iPhone/iTouch/iPod
When the unit is connected to power, the dock iPhone/iTouch/iPod begins to charge.
EQ CONTROL
Press EQ button on the remote control, the sound tone changes as below:
BASS BOOST FUNCTION
Turn the BASS BOOST control up or down on unit to enhance the bass effect.
AUX IN FUNCTION
You can play from an external audio device such as MP3 player through this unit.
Connect a red/white audio cable (not supplied) to the AUX IN sockets and to the audio
output sockets on the audio device.
MUTE FUNCTION
1. When you press MUTE button once on unit or remote control, the volume level will
flash & the audio output will be temporarily terminate.
2. Press the MUTE button once again, the volume level and the audio output will return
to normal.
