en
operation of the tool. If the power tool
is damaged, it must be repaired before
use. Many accidents occur due to neg-
ligence in the maintenance of power
tools.
–Keep cutting tools clean and sharp. A
properly maintained cutting tool with
sharp cutting edges is less prone to
misalignment of the moving part and is
easier to control.
–Use the power tool, accessories, etc.
in accordance with this manual, taking
into account the conditions and type
of work. Using power tools for work for
which they are not intended can lead
to dangerous situations.
–Keep grips and gripping surfaces clean
and free of oil or grease. Slippery grips
and gripping surfaces do not ensure
safe handling in unexpected situations.
Cordless tool use and care
–Make recharge only with the charger
specified by the manufacturer. A char-
ger suitable for one type of battery
may present a fire hazard when used
with another battery.
–Use of power tools only with a special-
ly designated battery. Use of any other
battery may cause injury or fire.
–When the battery is not in use, it should
be kept away from other metal objects
such as paper clips, coins, keys, nails,
screws or other small metal objects
that can make a connection from one
terminal to another. Shorting the bat-
tery terminals together may cause a
burn or fire.
–Liquid may leak from the battery due
to negligent supervision; avoid con-
tact with it. In case of accidental con-
tact, rinse with water. If the liquid gets
into your eyes, seek medical attention
immediately. Leaking battery fluid can
cause irritation or burns.
–Do not use a damaged or altered bat-
tery or tool. A damaged or modified
power supply may behave erratically
and cause fire, explosion, or risk of per-
sonal injury.
–Do not expose the battery or tool to
fire or excessive heat. Exposure to fire
at all times. This will be a guarantee of
continuous and constant control of the
tool, in particular in unpredictable sit-
uations.
–Wear appropriate clothing. Do not
wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep
hair and clothing away from moving
parts of the tool. Loose clothing, jew-
elry, or long hair can be caught in the
moving parts of the tool.
–If means for connecting suction or dust
collection devices are available, con-
nect and use these devices correct-
ly. The use of such devices reduces the
risks associated with the presence of
dust.
–Do not allow excessive self-confidence
that arises from frequent use of tools.
Self-confidence causes a careless atti-
tude to the implementation of safety
principles and even ignoring them. Any
carelessness when working with the
tool can lead to serious injury in a frac-
tion of a second.
Power tool use and care
–Do not overload the power tool. Use
the power tool for its intended pur-
pose. A properly selected power tool
will work better and safer in the intend-
ed mode.
–Do not use a power tool if the switch
does not turn it on and off. Any power
tool with a faulty switch is dangerous
and must be repaired.
–Before making any adjustments, chang-
ing accessories or packing the power
tool for storage, be sure to disconnect
the plug from the power source and/or
remove the battery. These safety pre-
cautions reduce the risk of accidentally
switching on the tool.
–Keep the tool out of the reach of chil-
dren, and do not allow persons who
are not familiar with the safety regula-
tions to work with it. Electric tools are
very dangerous in the hands of an un-
informed user.
–Take care of the power tool and its ac-
cessories. Check the centering and
smoothness of the moving parts and
any other changes that may affect the
