HEMI V8 with VVT takes you from 0–60 mph in the low five-second
range[3] while intoxicating exhaust notes purr at idle and roar under
acceleration. When equipped with Fuel Saver Technology, eight
cylinders transition to four when full power is not required to help
provide an increase in fuel efficiency.
The robust 3.6-liter V6 satisfies your rational side with 27 mpg* hwy
and keeps your emotional side charged with 305 horsepower. It’s the
combination of fully independent dual-cam phasing, sequential port
fuel injection and high-flow intake and exhaust ports that result in
this exceptional blend of high torque and fuel efficiency.
For those with an appetite for raw power, the available SRT HEMI V8
delivers a performance feast — 470 horsepower, 470 lb-ft of torque
and an impressively flat torque curve. When equipped with an
automatic transmission, Fuel Saver Technology deactivates four
cylinders when eight are not needed, creating a triple threat of
power, efficiency and wise consumption.

electronic stABility control (esc)[4] helps bridle Challenger’s horses and keep them on the track. The system
automatically detects wheel slippage and responds immediately to help regain control. Sensors monitor vehicle motion and
