Couplings.
Vibration may cause failure if a quick change coupling is connected directly to the tool. To
overcome this, connect a leader hose to the tool. A quick change coupling may then be used to
connect the leader hose to the air line recoil hose.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:
WARNING! Ensure you read, understand and apply safety instructions before use.
1. OPERATION: The tool features an air regulator (besides the air inlet) allowing you to vary the amount of torque
exerted on the nut or bolt you are working on. Setting “0” is the lowest and “9” is the hi-ghost setting and provides
the biggest torque and speed.
2. LOOSENING:
Step 1: Attach the correct size socket to the anvil.
Step 2: Set the compressor’s pressure regulator to 90 psi. Do not set the compressor’s out let regulator above 90 psi.
Step 3: Connect the wrench to the air compressor’s hose. If leakage is detected, disconnect air hose and fix it correct
before use.
Step 4: Place the socket over the nut to loosen.
Step 5: Grip the tool firmly. Press the REVERSE valve in from the area above the Trigger so that the REVERSE
valve protrudes out the back of the housing press the trigger to start the tool.
TIGHTENING:
(The working torque of the impact wrench is 500 ft/lbs. make sure that the nut or bolt you are using the tool to
tighten can withstand the rated torque.)
Step 1: Tighten the nut as far as you can by hand.
Step 2: Place the socket on the nut. Press the REVERSE valve forward so it protrudes out the front (Caution: Make
sure the nut or bolt can with stand the impact wrench’s working torque)
* Note:
-If the tool cannot loosen the nut, DO NOT raise the out let pressure of the air compressor.
-If the tool’s air regulator is set in a low setting, you may raise the setting and try again. If the tool’s air regulator is
already set on “9” setting, do not continue attempts to loosen the nut with the tool. Use other appropriate tools and
methods to loosen the nut.
- When the nut is removed, stop the tool by releasing the trigger and remove the tool from the nut. Remove the nut
from the socket if needed.
-When the nut has been tightened, remove the tool and socket. Do not over tighten.
-If available, check the recommended torque specifications for the nut. You should use a torque the nut after using
the impact wrench.
MAINTANANCE:
WARNING: Disconnect Impact wrench from air supply before changing accessories, servicing or performing
maintenance. Replace or repair damaged parts. Use genuine parts only.Unauthorised parts may be dangerous and
will invalidate the warranty.
1. If the air supply does not have an oiler lubricate the air impact wrench daily with a few drops of air tool oil
dripped in to the air inlet to prolong its life.
2. Clean the impact wrench after use.
