Cautions
To avoid a short circuit, please connect the power after
installation and connection.
Do not open the covers. This product has laser beams,
w h i c h c a n d a m a g e t h e eyes. Service by qualified
personnel only.
It is recommended to connect four speakers, to maximize the
powerful sound of this machine.
To avoid a dead car battery, do not use the unit for a long
time, after turning off engine.
Moisture will condense on the lens on a rainy day or in a
damp region and it will affect the ability of the DVD to play
normally. To fix, take out the disc and turn off the player’s
power. After a while, it will work regularly after the moisture
has evaporated.
Use a tapered, pointed object to tap Reset button and restore
factory setting when product does not seem to be working
properly.
Clean connector regularly, otherwise, the products can't work
well. Open the front panel, and use an alcohol-dipped Q-tip to
clean connector. Be gentle, so that the connector is not damaged.

Note: For safety, turn off the engine and take out the keys from
ignition switch before cleaning connector . Do not use finger or
metal unit to touch connector.

Handling and Cleaning
Dirt, dust , scratches and warped discs will deteriorate the
player’s ability to function.
Do not place stickers or make scratches on discs.
Do not warp discs.
A disc should always be kept in its case when not in use to
prevent from damage.
Do not place discs in the following places:
1. Direct sunlight.
2. Dirty, dusty and damp areas.
3. Near car heaters.
4. On the seats or dashboard.
Disc Cleaning
Use a dry, soft cloth to wipe the surface. If the disc is quite dirty,
use a soft cloth slightly dipped with isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol.

Never use solvents, such as benzene, paint thinner or conventional
record cleaners, as they may mark the surface of the disc.
Note:
A disc may become somewhat scratched (although not enough
to make it unusable) depending on the way it is handled and
the environment in which it is stored. These scratches are not
an indication of any problem with the player.
Installations
To install the front panel:
1. To install the front panel , first insert the right side into proper
position, then insert the left side into place.
2. When the two sides are fixed into place, push the front panel
into the main unit.
3. Note: If the front panel fails to lock in position properly, the
control button may not function and the display may be missing
some segments . Press the Release button, and then reinstall
the front panel again.
To Detach the Front Panel:
1. Press Release button to fold the front panel down.
2. To remove the front panel, lift it up at a small angle in a
horizontal position, then pull out the left side.
3. For safekeeping, store the front panel in the supplied
protective case immediately after removing it.

Install the unit
Be sure you test all connections first, and then follow these
steps to install the unit.

1. Make sure the ignition is turned off, and then disconnect the
cable from the vehicle battery's negative (-) terminal.
2. Disconnect the wire harness and the antenna.
3. Press the Release button on the front panel and remove
the control panel (see the steps of removing the front panel).
4. Lift the top of the outer trim ring, then pull it out to remove it.
5. The two supplied keys release tabs inside the unit’s sleeve so
you can remove it.Insert the keys as far as they will go(with the
notches facing up) into the appropriate slots at the middle left
and right sides of the unit. Then slide the sleeve off the back of
the unit.

9. To further secure the unit, use the supplied metal strap to
secure the back of the unit in place. Use the supplied hardware
(hex nut [5mm] and spring washer) to attach one end of the
strap to the mounting bolt on the back of the unit. If necessary,
bend the metal strap to fit your vehicle's mounting area. Then
use the supplied hardware (tapping screw [5x25mm] and plain
washer) to attach the other end of metal strap to a solid metal
part of the vehicle under the dashboard. This strap also helps
ensure proper electrical grounding of the unit.
Note: Install the short threading terminal of the mounting
bolt to the back of the unit and the other long threading terminal
to the dashboard.

6. Mount the sleeve by inserting it into the opening of the
dashboard and bending open the tabs located around the
sleeve with a screwdriver. Not all tabs will be able to make
contact, so examine which ones will be most effective. Bend
open the appropriate tabs behind the dashboard to secure the
sleeve in place.
7.Reconnect the wire harness and the antenna. Be careful not to
pinch any wires or cables.
8. Slide the unit into the sleeve until it locks into place.
10.Reconnect the cable to the vehicle battery’s negative ( - )
terminal. Then replace the outer trim ring and install the unit's
front panel (see the steps of installing the front panel).
Removing the unit
1. Make sure the ignition is turned off, then disconnect the cable
from the vehicle battery's negative (-) terminal.
2. Remove the metal strap attached to the back of the unit (if
attached).

3. Press the Release button to remove the front panel.
4. Lift the top of the outer trim ring, then pull it out to remove it.
5. Insert both of the supplied keys into the slots at the middle left
and right sides of the unit, then pull the unit out of the
dashboard.
DIN REAR-MOUNT (Method B)
If your vehicle is a Nissan or Toyota , follow these mounting
instructions.
Use the screw holes marked T (Toyota), N (Nissan) located on
both sides of the unit to fasten the unit to the factory radio
mounting brackets supplied with your vehicle.

To fasten the unit to the factory radio mounting brackets, align
the screw holes on the bracket with the screw holes on the unit,
and then tighten the screws (5x5mm) on each side.
Note: The outer trim ring, sleeve, and the metal strap are not
used for Method B installation.
Connections
Speaker connection
Please turn off the machine’s power before connecting
speakers, to avoid short circuit (refer to connection picture).
Note: Do not connect or touch speaker line with grounding wire
of car except as it is indicated in connection picture, otherwise the
unit can be badly damaged.
Grounding wire connection
Connect black wire with grounding terminal of car. Or connect it to
chassis of car. It is suggested to connect to metal of car to get best
performance.
Power connection
First, connect yellow memory power line(15Amp fuse) with +12V
w/o switch power supply (always on), then connect red power line
with +12V auxiliary power supply of ignition.
Antenna connection
Insert coaxial antenna plug of car into antenna socket.
Note: Check connection and change to same current fuse. Bad
damage can occur if larger-rated fuse is used (blown fuse).
Current noise
This unit will not sound good with much background noise.

VOL
Most cars noise reduction systems. Extreme cases or older cars
may have more noise problems. Ask qualified car dealer to find and
correct the noise. Or, ask a c ar audio installation center for help if
you encounter problems when you install by yourself.

DVD Operation
1. Loading / ejecting a disc
Press and hold / button on the front panel above 3 A. Insert DVD disc to unit. Disc will play automatically. Or press
seconds ,or “ Seek- / Seek+ ”on remote control to MODE to select play if disc is already installed.

◆Automatic channel selection:
Press PS/AS button on panel and AMS button for 3 seconds. It
will scan channels automatically, and save the channels to the
numeric buttons 1-6. (Press quickly to browse channels 1-6)
◆Listen to saved channels
B. Press to quit DVD disc.
A. Press BAND on the front panel or the remote control to
select band.
B. Then press numeral button 1-6 of desired channel.
Note:If you want to save another channel to same numeral
button, the former channel will be erased.
AV IN and AV OUT operation
1. AV IN OPERATION:

Press / button on the front panel or on the remote
control to reverse to last item or fast forward . It will rapid
forward or rapid reverse if the button is held down.

Press button on the front panel or on the remote control to
pause play.

on the TFT screen and there is signal output in the speaker. Press Slow on the remote control to play slowly; the speed of

In DVD/USB/SD playback, there is 1 Video out from B position
in connection picture(yellow slot), and 2 channels Audio output
(L channel for white slot, R channel for red slot).

During DVD play, press OSD button on the remote control to
display title, tracks , play time, remaining time, current track
and title, and the quantity of tracks.
7. Repeat playback
Press RPT on remote control to replay DVD.
A. Press PRT button one time to repeat play one track , RPT is
lighted on the LCD screen, indicating the function of
repeat play for one track.
B. Press PRT button two times to repeat play title, RPT ALL
is lighted on the LCD screen, indicating the function of
repeat play.
8. Multi-angle function
Press Angle button on the remote control during playback to
change the view angle for DVDs recorded multi-angle. The
angle changes in sequential order: Angle 1,Angle 2, Angle 3.
Note: This function only works for discs having scenes
recorded at different angles. DVD cases indicate if the discs are
recorded at different angles. DVD cases also indicate recorded
same angle.
9. Multi-audio Language function
Different languages and audio systems of a DVD’s audio
playback change if a DVD has multi-audio. Pressing Audio
repeatedly during playback, will result in the language
changing in sequential order: Audio 1, Audio 2, Audio 3.
Note: This function only works with discs having multi-audio.
10. Multi-subtitle language function
For multi-subtitle languages discs, you can change the subtitle
during playback . Press Sub-T button on the remote control
during playback, and the subtitle language changes in the
sequential order: Subtitle 1, Subtitle 2, Subtitle 3.
Note: This function only works with discs have multi-subtitle.
11. Title selection
In PBC ON mode during playback , press TITLE button on
remote control to return to disc’s menu. Then select different
tracks and their titles by using the right knob.
Note: This function works concurrently for remote control
and the front panel buttons.
CD\VCD\SVCD disc playback
1. General operation
A. Insert CD \ VCD \ SVCD disc into unit. Disc will play
multi-angle scenes. The number of marks indicate the number of
recorded shooting angles . You cannot change angle in slow automatically. Or press
already loaded. MOD button to select play if disc is
playbac . If Angle is pressed in rapid forward , rapid reverse, or
pause, these functions will cancel and restore normal play with B. Press button to quit disc.

In mute mode, press BND button on the remote control or the
front panel to change to PAL or NTSC system.
3. Rapid forward / rapid reverse
Press / on remote control to go to previous item or next
item. It will rapid forward / rapid reverse if y o u hold
down the buttons.
4. Slow motion playback (for VCD/SVCD only)
Press Slow on the remote control to have slow playback. It
has seven grades in sequential order: slow forward ½,
1/3, ¼, 1/5, 1/6, 1/7, normal playback.
5. Zoom function
Press ZOOM button on the remote control to increase the size.
It has six grades in sequential order: Zoom2, Zoom 3,
Zoom4, Zoom1/2, Zoom1/3, Zoom ¼, Zoom off.
6. OSD
During playback, press OSD button on the remote control. TV
shows playing time of track, remaining time of track, play time
of the disc, remaining time of disc.
7. Play time setup
During playback, press GOTO button on remote control to
setup disc to play from one time. It shows time type on TV as :
--:-- with numeral button 0-9. For example: It will start play
from 25 minutes automatically if you input 25:00.
Note: During DVD playback , press GOTO button to indicate
Title 00/00 Track 000/000 in monitor.
8. Numeral button
During playback , press numeral button 0-10+ on remote
control to select any track. For example, if you want to select track
15, press 10+ button and press 5 to play track 15.
Note: The function works with remote control.
Note: First press of 10+ button is 10+, second press is
20+, third press is 30+.
9. Program play
A. During playback, it sets track playing order through
function of program play.
B. Press PROG button on remote control; monitor displays
P00:00. Input desired track number directly , for example ,
input 5 to enter intro track 5, input 12 to enter into track 12. The
unit will automatically read: P02:--,P03:--etc. Total program
is 99 tracks. Setup playback order with buttons 0-10+, then
press button to start play. Or
press PROG button to cancel program.
10. Repeat playback
Press RPT button on remote control to play a track repeatedly:
1. Press one time to play a track repeatedly, LCD display RPT
and indicates that repeat playback is selected.
2. Press two times to cancel function of track repeat.
Note: Default setting of the unit is whole disc repeat.
11. Shuffle play
During playback, press RDM button on the unit or remote
Control; LCD displays RDM. The unit will select a track to play
under selected catalogue. Press RDM button again to return to
normal playback mode.

2. MP3 menu
Insert MP3 disc, shows menu as below: It is documents of MP3
disc on the left side , and it is MP3 documents on the right side.
Cooperatively used with cursor button to select the catalogue
and track, then press ENTER button to confirm the item.
3. Rapid forwarder / Rapid reverse
Pressing / buttons on the remote control or / on
the front panel during playback will skip to the next/previous track.
It realize rapid forwarder / rapid reverse if hold down the buttons.
In MP3 mode , press button on the unit or remote control, or
PAV button on the touch screen, to pause. Presses the buttons
again to play normally if you want to restore playback.
7. OSD
In MP3 mode , press OSD button on remote control or touch
screen to display play time and remaining time of single track.
8. Play time setup
In MP3 mode, press GOTO button on remote control to setup
play disc from one time . It shows time on TV: --:-- with
number buttons 0-9 . For example, the player will begin playing in
25 minutes automatically if you input 25:00.

control to select any track. For example, if you want to select track

A. In MP3 mode, it sets track playing order.
1. Insert U Disk/SD card into USB/SD port, U disk/SD will play
automatically. Or press MODE button to select if U-dick/SD is
already loaded.
2. For other operations, refer to details of MP3 playback.
WMA/DIVX/MPG4 playback
1. Insert WMA / DIVX / MPG4 disc to the unit; disc will play
automatically. Or press MODE button to play if disc is loaded.
2. Press button to quit MPG4 disc.
3. For other operations, refer to details of MP3 playback.
Menu setup
B. Press PROG button of remote control; monitor displays Click menu of unit, or SEL button on remote control, to enter into
P00:00. Input desired track number directly, for example,
5 for track 5, 12 for track 12; the unit will GOTO automatically:
P02:--,P03:--etc.(Total program is 99 tracks).
Press PROG button to cancel program.

DVD setup
Under audio playback, press SETUP button on remote control,
It shows menu of system setups and submenus, select desired
item with direction key. Press ENTER to confirm, after finding
right item.
Note: It shows recorded languages on disc if selected
language is not recorded to disc.

Trouble shooting
If it appears that your DVD unit is faulty, first consult this
checklist . It may be that something simple has been overlooked.
Under no circumstances should you try to repair the
player yourself, as this will invalidate your warranty. Only
qualified service personnel can remove the cover or
service this player.
The power does not turn on.
The lead wires are not connected properly to the connectors.
Make sure the connection is correct.
The fuse has blown.
After checking for short circuits in the wires, replace the fuse
with one having the same rating.
The internal processor is not working due to noise or other
factors.
Press the Reset button to reset the unit to factory defaults.
The remote control does not work. The unit does not
operate even when the correct buttons on the remote
control are pressed.
Battery capacity is low.
Install new batteries.
Some operations are disabled in specific states.
Enter the correct mode.
The disc doesn’t play.
Disc is of poor quality, damaged, or dirty.
Clean, or replace the disc with one of higher quality.
The disc installed is not supported by the unit.
Examine the disc type.
The disc installed is not compatible with the video system.
Replace the disc with one compatible with your video system.
The desired source is not selected although you press the
MODE button.
An optional unit required to listen to each source is not
connected yet.
Connect the optional unit correctly.
The Reset button is not pressed yet, although the optional
unit has been connected to the unit.
Press the Reset button.
Nothing happens when the buttons are pressed.
