■Dieses Gerät ist zum Aufsaugen von
herkömmlichem Hausstaub vorge-
sehen.
Auf keinen Fall folgende Dinge
aufsaugen:
○Flüssigkeiten oder nasse
Stoffe (z.B. nasses Teppich-
Shampoo)
○glühende Asche, Zigaretten-
kippen, Streichhölzer etc.

■Das Gerät ist für den privaten Ge-
brauch, nicht für eine gewerbliche
Nutzung bestimmt.
■Das Gerät nur wie in der Gebrauchs-
anleitung beschrieben nutzen. Jede
weitere Verwendung gilt als bestim-
mungswidrig.
■Von der Gewährleistung ausge-
schlossen sind alle Mängel, die
durch unsachgemäße Behandlung,
Beschädigung oder Reparaturversu-
che entstehen. Dies gilt auch für den
normalen Verschleiß.

schlussleitung nicht selbst austauschen. Wenn das Gerät, die
Anschlussleitung oder das Zubehör des Gerätes beschädigt
sind, müssen diese durch den Hersteller, Kundenservice oder
eine Fachwerkstatt ersetzt werden, um Gefährdungen zu ver-
meiden.

GEFAHR – Stromschlaggefahr
■Nur in geschlossenen Räumen ver-
wenden und lagern.
■Nicht in Räumen mit hoher Luftfeuch-
tigkeit verwenden oder lagern.
■Das Gerät und die Anschlussleitung
niemals in Wasser oder andere Flüs-
sigkeiten eintauchen und sicherstel-
len, dass diese nicht ins Wasser fallen
oder nass werden können.
■Sollte das Gerät ins Wasser fallen,
während es an das Stromnetz ange-
schlossen ist, sofort den Stecker aus
der Steckdose ziehen! Erst danach
das Gerät aus dem Wasser holen.
■Das Gerät und die Anschlussleitung
niemals mit feuchten Händen berüh-
ren, wenn das Gerät an das Strom-
netz angeschlossen ist.
WARNUNG –
Verletzungsgefahr
■Verpackungsmaterial von Kindern
und Tieren fernhalten. Es besteht
Erstickungsgefahr.
■Sicherstellen, dass die Anschluss-
leitung stets außer Reichweite von
Kleinkindern und Tieren ist. Es be-
steht Strangulationsgefahr.
■Die Anschlussleitung so verlegen,
dass sie keine Stolpergefahr darstellt.
■Tiere, Haare, Schmuck, weite Klei-
dung, Finger und alle übrigen Kör-
perteile von den Düsen des Gerätes
fernhalten.
WARNUNG – Brandgefahr!
■Das Gerät während des Betriebes
nicht abdecken, um einen Geräte-
brand zu vermeiden. Nichts in die
Öffnungen des Gerätes stecken
und darauf achten, dass diese nicht
verstopft sind.
HINWEIS – Risiko von Material- und
Sachschäden
■Das Gerät nur an eine vorschrifts-
mäßig installierte Steckdose, die mit
den technischen Daten des Gerätes
übereinstimmt, anschließen. Die
Steckdose muss auch nach dem An-
schließen gut zugänglich sein, damit
die Netzverbindung schnell getrennt
werden kann.
■Nur ordnungsgemäße Verlänge-
rungskabel verwenden, deren tech-
nische Daten mit denen des Gerätes
übereinstimmen.
■Darauf achten, dass die Anschlusslei-
tung nicht gequetscht, geknickt oder
über scharfe Kanten gelegt wird und
nicht mit heißen Flächen in Berüh-
rung kommt.
■Das Gerät muss ausgeschaltet sein,
wenn der Netzstecker gezogen oder
in die Steckdose gesteckt wird.
■Den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose
ziehen, wenn während des Betriebes
ein Fehler auftritt oder vor einem
Gewitter.
■Immer am Netzstecker und nie am
Netzkabel ziehen, um das Gerät vom
Stromnetz zu trennen. Das Gerät
niemals am Netzkabel ziehen oder
tragen.
■Das Gerät vor Hitze, Feuer, Minus-
temperaturen, lang anhaltender
Feuchtigkeit, und Stößen schützen.
■Nur Original-Zubehörteile des Her-
stellers verwenden, um die Funkti-
onsweise des Gerätes nicht zu beein-
trächtigen und eventuelle Schäden zu
verhindern.
■Keine schweren Gegenstände auf
das Gerät oder die Anschlussleitung
legen.

ZUBEHÖR
Bodendüse
Die Bodendüse(1) ist sowohl für Teppi-
che als auch für glatte Böden geeignet.
Mit dem Fußschalter kann zwischen
Teppich und glattem Boden umgeschaltet
werden (Bild D). Für glatte Böden wird auf
der Unterseite eine Bürste ausgefahren.
Kombidüse
Die Kombidüse(2) vereint eine Fu-
gen- und Bürstendüse. Das Endstück
in Pfeilrichtung umklappen, um aus der
Fugendüse eine Bürstendüse zu machen
(Bild E).
Die Fugendüse eignet sich für Polste-
rungen und alle Ecken und Winkel, die
mit anderen Düsen nicht erreicht werden
können.
Die Bürstendüse ist für alle unebenen
Gegenstände, Möbel, Lampen, Pro-
fil- und Fußleisten, Fensterbänke etc.

ZUSAMMENBAU
Beachten!
■Vor dem Anbringen /Abnehmen von
Zubehör sicherstellen, dass das Gerät
nicht an das Stromnetz angeschlos-
sen ist.
L Im Staubbehälter oder in den
Filtern können sich Schmutzrück-
stände befinden. Diese Rückstän-
de sind auf Qualitätskontrollen
zurückzuführen und stellen keinen
Gerätemangel dar.
Saugschlauch einsetzen / abnehmen
• Das Anschlussstück des Saugschlau-
ches(6) in die Saugöffnung(14) am
Gerät stecken und im Uhrzeigersinn
drehen, bis es einrastet.
• Zum Abnehmen des Saugschlauches,
das Anschlussstück gegen den Uhr-
zeigersinn drehen und herausziehen.
Teleskoprohr einsetzen / abnehmen
• Das offene Ende des Handgriffs(7)
in die passende Öffnung des Teles-
koprohres(5) stecken (Bild F). Den
Handgriff dabei leicht hin und her
drehen. Die Verbindung anschließend
auf festen Sitz überprüfen.
• Um das Teleskoprohr abzunehmen,
vom Handgriff abziehen.
Länge des Teleskoprohres einstellen
• Den Schieber(9) am Teleskoprohr(5)
betätigen und die beiden Teile des
Teleskoprohres auf die gewünschte
Länge auseinander- bzw. zusammen-
ziehen (BildG).
• Den Schieber loslassen und das Te-
leskoprohr noch ein Stückchen weiter
bewegen, bis es einrastet.
Saugdüsen anbringen/abnehmen
• Das freie Ende des Teleskoprohres(5)
in eine der mitgelieferten Saugdüsen
stecken. Die Düse dabei leicht hin
und her drehen.
• Für mehr Flexibilität können die
Saugdüsen auch direkt, ohne das Te-
leskoprohr, auf den Saugschlauch(6)
gesteckt werden.
• Um eine Saugdüse abzunehmen,
diese abziehen.
Staubbehälter entnehmen /
einsetzen
Entnehmen: Die Entriegelungstaste(19)
des Staubbehälters(3) drücken und
diesen am Tragegriff(10) aus dem Gerät
herausnehmen.
Einsetzen:
1. Den Staubbehälter am Tragegriff
nehmen und zuerst den Boden des
Staubbehälters (12) in das Gerät
einsetzen.

2. Den Tragegriff gegen die Motorein-
heit(4) drücken, bis der Staubbehälter
hörbar in der Verriegelung einrastet.
3. Das Gerät am Tragegriff anheben, um
zu überprüfen, ob der Staubbehälter
richtig sitzt.
BENUTZUNG
Beachten!
■Damit die Anschlussleitung während
des Betriebes nicht heiß wird, min-
destens zwei Drittel der Gesamtlänge
(gelbe Markierung) aus dem Gerät
herausziehen, bevor der Staubsauger
eingeschaltet wird. Die Anschluss-
leitung nicht weiter als bis zur roten
Markierung auf der Anschlussleitung
herausziehen, um Beschädigungen zu
vermeiden!
■Das Gerät nur benutzen, wenn es
vollständig und korrekt zusammen-
gebaut ist! Der Staubbehälter, der
Zykloneinsatz und die Filter müssen
eingesetzt und unbeschädigt sein!
Würde der Schmutz in das Innere der
Motoreinheit gelangen, könnte es
zum Motorschaden kommen.
■Wird während der Benutzung die
MAX-Markierung auf dem Staubbe-
hälter erreicht, diesen entleeren.
1. Die gewünschte Saugdüse am Teles-
koprohr(5) bzw. am Saugschlauch(6)
anbringen (siehe Kapitel „Zusammen-
bau“).
2. Die Anschlussleitung aus der Motor-
einheit(4) herausziehen.
3. Den Netzstecker in eine Steckdose
stecken.
4. Den Ein/Aus-Schalter(18) drücken,
um den Staubsauger einzuschalten.
5. Die Düse über die zu reinigende
Fläche führen. Beim Saugen kann der
Staubsauger wie ein Schlitten gezo-
gen werden.
L Das Nebenluftventil(8) am Hand-
griff(7) öffnen, um die Saugkraft
zu verringern, wenn Polster,
Teppiche oder leichte, beweg-
liche Gegenstände abgesaugt
werden. Normalerweise sollte das
Nebenluftventil geschlossen sein,
damit die Saugkraft nicht unnötig
vermindert wird.
6. Nach dem Staubsaugen den
Ein/Aus-Schalter drücken, um das
Gerät auszuschalten.
7. Den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose
ziehen, die Anschlussleitung fest-
halten und den Schalter(15) zur
Kabelaufwicklung mit dem Fuß hin-
unter drücken. Durch das Festhalten
der Anschlussleitung wird vermieden,
dass sie mit „Peitscheneffekt“ z.B.
gegen die Beine schlägt.
8. Für eine optimale Leistung des
Gerätes nach jedem Gebrauch den
Staubbehälter(3) leeren und regelmä-
ßig den Zykloneinsatz und die Filter
reinigen, um eine Überhitzung des
Motors zu vermeiden (siehe Kapitel
„Reinigung des Gerätes“).

REINIGUNG DES GERÄTES
Beachten!
■Beim Reinigen darauf achten, dass
keine Flüssigkeit in das Gerät ge-
langt. Lediglich der Staubbehälter
und der EPA-Filter darf mit Wasser
gereinigt werden. Sie müssen beim
Einsetzen in das Gerät jedoch voll-
ständig trocken sein.
■Niemals nasse oder feuchte Kompo-
nenten zusammenbauen und in das
Gerät einsetzen!
■Zum Reinigen des Gerätes und Zu-
behörs keine scharfen oder scheu-
ernden Reinigungsmittel verwenden.
Sie können die Oberflächen beschä-
digen.
• Das Gehäuse des Staubsaugers bei
Bedarf mit einem feuchten Tuch reini-
gen. Anschließend trockenwischen.
• Regelmäßig Haare und Fussel von
den Düsen entfernen.
L Mit der Zeit können sich die Filter
verfärben. Dies ist normal und
beeinträchtigt nicht die Funktio-
nalität.
Staubbehälter leeren
1. Die Entriegelungstaste(19) des Staub-
behälters(3) drücken und diesen
am Tragegriff(10) aus dem Gerät
nehmen.
2. Den Staubbehälter über einen Müll-
eimer halten.
3. Der Verschluss (A) zum Öffnen des
Staubbehälters nach unten schieben.
Der Boden(12) des Staubbehälters
öffnet sich und der Schmutz fällt her-
aus (BildH).
4. Den Boden des Staubbehälters wie-
der zuklappen. Der Verschluss muss
hörbar einrasten.
Staubbehälter, Zykloneinsatz und
EPA-Filter reinigen
1. Den Staubbehälter (3) aus dem Gerät
nehmen und leeren (siehe „Staubbe-
hälter leeren“).
2. Den Deckel(11) des Staubbehäl-
ters gegen den Uhrzeigersinn zum
Symbol auf dem Staubbehälter-
drehen und den Deckel abnehmen
(Bild J).
3. Den Zykloneinsatz aus dem Staubbe-
hälter herausziehen und den EPA-
Filter herausnehmen.
4. Den Zykloneinsatz und den EPA-Filter
ausklopfen bzw. losen Schmutz mit
einer weichen Bürste abbürsten.
Der Staubbehälter, der Zykloneinsatz
und der EPA-Filter können auch unter
fließendem Wasser gereinigt werden.
Sie müssen jedoch vor dem Einbau
vollständig trocken sein!
Zusammenbau
1. Den EPA-Filter in den Zykloneinsatz
einsetzen. Die Filterhalterung muss
dabei nach oben gerichtet sein.
2. Den Zykloneinsatz in den Staubbe-
hälter (3) einsetzen. Dabei darauf
achten, dass die Rastnase in der
entsprechenden Aussparung im
Staubbehälter sitzt.
3. Den Deckel (11) so auf den Staubbe-
hälter setzen, dass der linke Marker
auf dem Deckel auf die Pfeilspitze
auf dem Staubbehälter zeigt. Im
Uhrzeigersinn zum Symbol dre-
hen(BildJ).
4. Den Staubbehälter in das Gerät
einsetzen (siehe Kapitel „Zusam-
menbau“ - „Staubbehälter entneh-
men / einsetzen“). Er muss hörbar
einrasten.

Abluftfilter reinigen
Der Abluftfilter(16) befindet sich auf der
Rückseite des Staubsaugers (Bild C).
1. Die Rastnase der Abdeckung nach
unten drücken und gleichzeitig die
Abdeckung aufklappen. Dann die
Abdeckung abnehmen.
2. Den Abluftfilter aus der Abdeckung
herausnehmen und über einem Müll-
eimer ausklopfen. Den Abluftfilter
nicht nass reinigen!
3. Das Filterfach bei Bedarf ausbürsten
bzw. auswischen.
4. Den Abluftfilter in die Abdeckung
einsetzen.
5. Die Abdeckung einsetzen und zu-
klappen. Sie muss hörbar einrasten.
AUFBEWAHRUNG
• Die Bodendüse(1) in die Halte-
rung(17) auf der Rückseite des
Gerätes einhaken (BildI) und das
Teleskoprohr(5) zusammenschieben.
• Das Gerät an einem kühlen, trocke-
nen, vor direkter Sonneneinstrahlung
geschützten Ort und außerhalb der
Reichweite von Kindern und Tieren
aufbewahren.
PROBLEMBEHEBUNG
Sollte das Gerät nicht ordnungsgemäß
funktionieren, überprüfen, ob ein Prob-
lem selbst behoben werden kann. Lässt
sich mit den nachfolgenden Schritten
das Problem nicht lösen, den Kundenser-
vice kontaktieren.
Nicht versuchen, ein elektrisches
Gerät selbst zu reparieren!
Das Gerät saugt nicht.
Der Netzstecker steckt nicht richtig in
der Steckdose.
►Den Sitz korrigieren.
Die Steckdose ist defekt.
►Eine andere Steckdose probieren.
Es ist keine Netzspannung vorhanden.
►Die Sicherung des elektrischen Ver-
teilers (Sicherungskasten) überprüfen.
Die Saugleistung ist zu schwach.
Das Nebenluftventil (8) im Handgriff (7)
ist offen.
►Das Nebenluftventil schließen.
Der Staubbehälter (3) ist zu voll.
►Den Staubbehälter leeren.
Der EPA-Filter und Zykloneinsatz (13)
sind verschmutzt.
►EPA-Filter und Zykloneinsatz reinigen.
Die Düse, das Teleskoprohr (5) oder der
Saugschlauch (6) ist verstopft.
►Das Gerät ausschalten, den Netzste-
cker aus der Steckdose ziehen und
die Verstopfung entfernen.
Beim Saugen entweicht Staub aus
dem Gerät.
Der Staubbehälter (3) ist nicht korrekt
geschlossen und/oder nicht (korrekt) in
das Gerät eingesetzt.
►Den Deckel (11) bzw. Boden (12) ver-
schließen bzw. den Sitz des Staub-
behälters korrigieren.

Die Anschlussleitung lässt sich nicht
ganz aufwickeln.
Die Anschlussleitung wurde im Gerät
nicht richtig aufgewickelt.
►Die Anschlussleitung ein Stück he-
rausziehen und den Schalter zur
Kabelaufwicklung (15) drücken.
Seltsamer Geruch
Das Gerät wird zum ersten Mal verwendet.
►Beim ersten Gebrauch des Geräts ist
ein Neugeruch normal, mit der Zeit
verschwindet er.
ENTSORGUNG
Das Verpackungsmaterial umweltgerecht entsorgen und der Wertstoffsamm-
lung zuführen.
Das nebenstehende Symbol (durchgestrichene Mülltonne mit Unterstrich)
bedeutet, dass Altgeräte nicht in den Hausmüll, sondern in spezielle Sammel-
und Rückgabesysteme gehören.
Besitzer von Altgeräten aus privaten Haushalten können diese bei den Sam-
melstellen der öffentlich-rechtlichen Entsorgungsträger oder bei den von
Herstellern und Vertreibern im Sinne des ElektroG eingerichteten Rücknahme-
stellen unentgeltlich abgeben, damit sie einer umweltschonenden Entsorgung
sowie einer Wiedergewinnung von wertvollen Rohstoffen zugeführt werden
können. Bei einer unsachgemäßen Entsorgung können giftige Inhaltsstoffe in
die Umwelt gelangen, die gesundheitsschädigende Wirkungen auf Menschen,
Tiere und Pflanzen haben. Rücknahmepflichtig sind auch Geschäfte, die Elekt-

■Lay the connecting cable in such a
way that it does not present a trip
hazard.
■Keep animals, hair, jewellery, wide
clothing, fingers and all other body
parts away from the nozzles of the
device.
WARNING – Danger of Fire!
■Do not cover the device during
operation in order to prevent it from
catching fire. Do not insert anything
into the openings of the device and
make sure that they do not become
clogged.
NOTICE – Risk of Damage to Materi-
al and Property
■Only connect the device to a plug
socket that is properly installed and
matches the technical data of the
device. The plug socket must also be
readily accessible after connection so
that the connection to the mains can
quickly be isolated.
■Only use suitable extension cables
whose technical data is the same as
that of the device.
■Make sure that the connecting cable
is not squashed, bent or laid over
sharp edges and does not come into
contact with hot surfaces.
■The device must be switched off when
inserting or removing the mains plug.

ACCESSORIES
Floor Nozzle
The floor nozzle(1) is suitable for both
carpets and hard floors.
The foot switch allows you to change
between carpet and hard floor (Picture D).
For hard floors, a brush is extended on
the underside of the nozzle.
Combi Nozzle
The combi nozzle(2) is a combination of
a crevice and brush nozzle. Flip up the
end piece in the direction of the arrow to
turn the crevice nozzle into a brush nozzle
(Picture E).
The crevice nozzle is suitable for uphol-
stery and for all nooks and crannies that
cannot be reached with other nozzles.
The brush nozzle is intended for all une-
ven objects, furniture, lamps, profiles and
skirting boards, window ledges, etc.

Please Note!
■Before you attach / detach any acces-
sories, ensure that the device is not
connected to the mains power.
L There may be dirt residues in the
dust container or in the filters.
These residues can be attributed
to quality checks and do not con-
stitute a defect with the device.
Inserting / Detaching the Suction
Hose
• Plug the connection piece of the
suction hose(6) into the suction open-
ing(14) on the device and turn it in a
clockwise direction until it engages.
• To detach the suction hose, twist the
connection piece anticlockwise and
pull it out.
Inserting / Detaching the Telescopic
Tube
• Plug the open end of the handle(7)
into the appropriate opening of the
telescopic tube(5) (Picture F). Twist
the handle back and forth slightly as
you do this. Then check the connec-
tion to make sure there is a secure fit.
• To detach the telescopic tube, pull it
away from the handle.
Adjusting the Length of the
Telescopic Tube
• Press the slider(9) on the telescopic
tube(5) and pull apart or push togeth-
er the two parts of the telescopic tube
to the length you want (PictureG).
• Release the slider and move the
telescopic tube a little bit more until it
engages.
Attaching / Detaching Suction
Nozzles
• Plug the free end of the telescopic
tube(5) into one of the suction noz-
zles supplied. Twist the nozzle back
and forth slightly as you do this.
• For greater flexibility, the suction
nozzles can also be plugged directly,
without the telescopic tube, onto the
suction hose(6).
• To detach a suction nozzle, pull it off.
Removing / Inserting the Dust
Container
Removing: Press the release button(19)
of the dust container(3) and pull it out of
the device by the carrying handle(10).
Inserting:
1. Grip the dust container by the carry-
ing handle and first insert the bottom
of the container (12) into the device.
2. Press the carrying handle against the
motor unit(4) until the dust container
audibly engages in the locking catch.
3. Lift up the device by the carrying
handle to check whether the dust con-
tainer is in the correct position.

USE
Please Note!
■To ensure that the connecting cable
does not become hot during oper-
ation, pull out at least two thirds of
the total length (yellow marking) from
the device before the vacuum cleaner
is switched on. Pull the connecting
cable out no further than the red
marking on the connecting cable to
prevent any damage!
■The device should only be used if it
has been fully and correctly assem-
bled! The dust container, the cyclone
insert and the filters must be inserted
and must not be damaged! If the dirt
were to get inside the motor unit, this
could damage the motor.
■If the MAX marking on the dust con-
tainer is reached during use, empty it.
1. Attach the suction nozzle you want
to the telescopic tube(5) or suction
hose(6) (see the “Assembly” chapter).
2. Pull the connecting cable out of the
motor unit(4).
3. Plug the mains plug into a plug
socket.
4. Press the On/Off switch(18) to
switch on the vacuum cleaner.
5. Guide the nozzle over the surface to
be cleaned. The vacuum cleaner can
be pulled along like a sledge during
cleaning.
L Open the exhaust air valve(8)
on the handle(7) to reduce the
suction force when cleaning
upholstery, rugs or light, movable
objects. Normally the exhaust air
valve should be closed to prevent
the unnecessary reduction of the
suction force.
6. After vacuuming, press the On/Off
switch to switch off the device.
7. Pull the mains plug out of the plug
socket, hold the connecting cable
securely and press down the switch
for winding up the cable(15) to wind
up the cable with your foot. Holding
the connecting cable securely pre-
vents it having any "whiplash" effect,
e.g. against your legs.
8. To ensure optimum performance of
the device, empty the dust contain-
er(3) after each use and clean the
cyclone insert and filters regularly to
prevent the motor from overheat-
ing (see the “Cleaning the Device”
chapter).
CLEANING THE DEVICE
Please Note!
■No liquid must be allowed to get into
the device when cleaning the device.
Only the dust container and the EPA fil-
ter may be cleaned with water. Howev-
er, they must be completely dry before
they are put back into the device.
■Never assemble wet or damp compo-
nents and insert them into the device!
■Do not use any sharp or abrasive
cleaning agents to clean the device
and accessories. They may damage
the surfaces.
• Clean the housing of the vacuum
cleaner with a damp cloth if necessary.
Then wipe it dry.
• Regularly remove hair and fluff from
the nozzles.
L The filters may lose some of their
colour over time. This is normal
and does not have any adverse
effect on function.

Emptying the Dust Container
1. Press the release button(19) of the
dust container(3) and pull it out of the
device by the carrying handle(10).
2. Hold the dust container over a dustbin.
3. Slide the release button(A) for open-
ing the dust container downwards.
The bottom(12) of the dust container
will open and the dirt will fall out(Pic-
tureH).
4. Flip the bottom of the dust container
shut again. You must hear it engage
in place.
Cleaning the Dust Container,
Cyclone Insert and EPA Filter
1. Take the dust container (3) out of the
device and empty it (see “Emptying
the Dust Container”).
2. Twist the lid(11) of the dust container
anticlockwise towards the symbol
on the dust container and take off the
lid (Picture J) .
3. Pull the cyclone insert out of the dust
container and remove the EPA filter.
4. Tap out the cyclone insert and the
EPA filter and brush off loose dirt with
a soft brush.
The dust container, the cyclone insert
and the EPA filter can also be cleaned
under running water. However, they
must be completely dry before they
are reinserted!
Assembly
1. Insert the EPA filter into the cyclone
insert. The filter holder must be facing
upwards.
2. Insert the cyclone insert into the
dust container (3). When you do this,
make sure that the locking lug fits in
the corresponding recess in the dust
container.
3. Place the lid (11) on the dust con-
tainer so that the left marker on the
lid points towards the arrow tip on
the dust container. Twist it clockwise
towards the symbol (Picture J).
4. Insert the dust container into the
device (see the “Assembly” chap-
ter – “Removing / Inserting the Dust
Container”). It must engage audibly.
Cleaning the Exhaust Air Filter
The exhaust air filter(16) is located on the
back of the vacuum cleaner (Picture C).
1. Press down the locking lug of the cov-
er and open up the cover at the same
time. Then take off the cover.
2. Remove the exhaust air filter from the
cover and tap it out over a dustbin.
Do not wet-clean the exhaust air
filter!
3. Brush or wipe out the filter compart-
ment if necessary.
4. Insert the exhaust air filter into the
cover.
5. Insert the cover and flip it shut. You
must hear it engage.
STORAGE
• Hook the floor nozzle(1) into the
holder(17) on the back of the device
(PictureI) and collapse the telescopic
tube(5).
• Store the device in a cool, dry place
which is protected from direct sunlight
and is out of the reach of children and
animals.

TROUBLESHOOTING
If the device does not work properly, check whether you are able to rectify the
problem yourself. If the problem cannot be solved with the steps below, contact the
customer service department.
Do not attempt to repair an electrical device yourself!
The device generates no suction.
The mains plug is not inserted in the plug
socket correctly.
►Correct the fit.
The plug socket is defective.
►Try another plug socket.
There is no mains voltage.
►Check the fuse of the electrical dis-
tributor (fuse box).
Low suction force.
The exhaust air valve (8) in the handle (7)
is open.
►Close the exhaust air valve.
The dust container (3) is too full.
►Empty the dust container.
The EPA filter and cyclone insert (13) are
dirty.
►Clean the EPA filter and cyclone insert.
The nozzle, the telescopic tube (5) or the
suction hose (6) is blocked.
►Switch off the device, pull the mains
plug out of the plug socket and
remove the blockage.
Dust escapes from the device during
cleaning.
The dust container (3) is not closed cor-
rectly and/or is not inserted (correctly) in
the device.
►Close the lid (11) or bottom (12) or
correct the fit of the dust container.
The connecting cable cannot be
wound up fully.
The connecting cable was not correctly
wound up in the device.
►Pull the connecting cable out a little
and press the switch for winding
up the cable (15).
Unusual odour
The device is being used for the first time.
►A new odour is normal when the
device is used for the first time; it
disappears after a while.

Dispose of the packaging material in an environmentally friendly manner so that
it can be recycled.
