What did you buy
You have purchased a 4G router that allows you to connect a LAN network to the Internet, or even a single
network device, such as an IP camera or a computer, using a SIM card, equipped with a data connection.
You can use it to connect an IP camera, both wired and wifi, or a NVR/DVR to the Internet via a cellular line.
In this way you can make any of our devices accessible via the web, in any situation. The 4G router is also
an excellent router for the home, in all those situations where a wired line is not convenient for you, for
example in a second home.

DC – Socket for the included 12VDC power supply
MICROUSB – As an alternative to the included 12V power supply, you can also use a USB mobile phone
power supply with microusb connector to power the router (cable not included) WAN/LAN1/LAN2 – 3
wired ports for connecting network devices with RJ45 connector. In these 4G routers the wired ports are
equivalent
SIM – Slot to insert a 4G cellular SIM (nanosim format)
RESET – Press and hold for 10 seconds to restore factory settings.
Inserting the SIM card
The SIM slot of the router is compatible with all 4G SIMs in NANOSIM format
If your SIM is larger, you will need to have it reduced in size in a phone shop or by purchasing the
appropriate cutter.
Before buying the SIM, check that the mobile operator has excellent data coverage in your area. It is
advisable to test the signal of the main operators with a telephone before choosing which operator to rely
on.
Before inserting a new sim into the router, you must insert it into a phone andremove PIN prompt at
startup,otherwise the router will not be able to use it.
When you insert the sim card into the slot you must respect the direction of the drawing and push the card
inside with your fingernail until you feel it hook. To remove, press with your fingernail to release it from the
retainer.

Connection
This 4G router doesn't require much setup. Indeed, just connect it to the socket because it automatically
recognizes the mobile network of the SIM and registers on the network. Remember to carry out this
operation in an area that offers excellent data coverage from your operator.
For special situations you can access the configuration easily with these simple steps.
1 – SEARCH FOR THE WIFI DEVICE NETWORK
Search for wifi networks with your mobile phone and you will find the wifi network generated by our
2.4GHZ device. You'll see a name starting with COM---- , like in this example.
2 – CONNECT TO THE DEVICE'S WIFI NETWORK
Connect to the device's WiFi network. By default, no password is required. Normally, if your sim has been
correctly recognized, your device is already functional and will immediately give you access to the
Internet.
If your mobile warns you that this network does not have Internet, then something is wrong and you
need to change the configuration. However, choose to continue and maintain the connection in order to
then access the product configuration.

Access to configuration
The 4G router almost never requires configuration and is immediately ready to work. However, for
particular network situations or to use it in other ways, you can access the configuration
ACCESS THE CONFIGURATION WITH THE PHONE BROWSER
You don't need to download any apps to set up the device, just use your phone's Internet browser.
Open your Internet browser and enter in the address bar:
192.168.10.1,which is the factory IP address of the router.
First, if necessary, press the small button on the right with the world icon and select the English
language.
To access the device, enter the factory password:admin
FACTORY DEFAULT SETTINGS: IP:

NOTE: If typing 192.168.10.1 into your browser does not bring up the login page, this

it means that you are not connected to the wifi of the device. Check your phone's wifi connections that
your phone hasn't, for example, restored the connection to another network.
STATUS - DEVICE STATE
The first page of the configuration shows you the current status of the device. You can scroll down this
page to see all the device data
CURRENT STATE – It is the current operating mode which is router by default. Later in the manual we will
explain more about the different modes of operation.
INTERFACE STATUS - Shows which wired network port you are using CPU
MEMORY - Shows device resource usage
WEB INFO - Shows the network parameters of the wired network connection WIRELESS
INFO - Shows the name (SSID) of the wifi network generated by the device DEVICED INFO
- Shows product version information
GRAPH – Shows data traffic in real time.
On this page, the part that you need to check more carefully is the following section 4G – Indicates the
data of the mobile connection

In the 4G section you must see the name of the operator you are connected to indicated, with the IP
address that has been assigned to you. It also checks the 4G signal level (RSSI) whichmust not exceed -60.
In this example above the signal is too low, -87dBm and this could cause no data connection.

With the menu button at the top right you open the menu bar with the following entries
STATUS - It is the initial status page just seen in the previous chapter WIZARD - Activates the

Operating modes
With the WIZARD button you can start the guided procedure to change the device operating mode. This
operation modifies the factory operation of the device which is designed to function as a router and for
this reason it is never recommended to carry it out unless with full knowledge of the facts.
There are 4 operating modes: ROUTER, BRIDGE, AP, REPEATER
ROUTER MODE
It is the factory mode. In this mode the deviceit connects to the 4G network and creates its own local
wired and wifi network with IP addresses of a different class than the network

external. By default, in its internal network, the router will assume the address 192.168.10.1 and will
assign DHCP addresses with this class (192.168.10.xxx) to the devices that connect to its WiFi network or
to the LAN network ports. If you connect your mobile phone to the router's wifi network, you can check
the IP address that has been assigned to you directly from the phone, as in the images below. Your
phone will have an address like 192.168.10.xxx, different from the main wired network, but will
communicate to the internet the same for the router function.
The router mode wizard allows you to configure:
1 – The network setting of the router in the main wired network on the WAN port (fixed IP or DHCP or
PPPoE supported). It is advisable to leave the DHCP default setting so that the AP receives an automatic
IP from the router.
2 – The network setting of the router in its local network (WiFi and LAN port). The factory setting is
192.168.10.1 and it is recommended not to change it unless strictly necessary. 3 – Setting up the wifi
network generated by the AP by personalizing the name (SSID) and any password.
Once the router mode has been saved, you will be able to access the router configuration by connecting
to the AP and recalling its internal network address, factory 192.168.10.1

The device can work in other modes. However, these modes cannot be used with the 4G card. If you are
interested in changing the operating mode of the device to use it as an Access Point or as a Repeater or
as a Bridge, you can find information on these modes in other manuals of our products in this series
