Delvotest®
Incubator.
This
Farol
manual
for
users
contains
information
and
instructions
for
operation
of
the
incubator.
The
Delvotest®
Incubator
is
designed
to
be
used
with
the Delvotest®
series
of
antibiotic
test
kits.
Display

Operation

Installing
the
device
1
Place
the
incubator
on
a
level
and
horizontal
surface.

Insert
the
power
connector
of
the
adaptor
to
the power
input
port
of
the
device
and
insert
the
adaptor
itself
to
the
main
power
supply
100-240V.

The
main
switch
is
on
the
rear
ofthe
device,
push
“I”
to
power
on
the
device,
and
push
“O”
to
power
off
the
device.
Turn
on
the
device.

The
incubator
will
heat
up
to
the
last
used
temperature,
at
first
use
this
is
pre-set
to
64°C.
The
green
light
next
to
“Heating”
will
flash
when
heating
up,
this
usually
takes
10-15
minutes.
When
the
set
temperature
is
reached,
the
light
will
stop
flashing
and
turn
green.
Please
ignore
the
displayed
time.
How
to
choose
a
program
This
device
has
five
programs:
Pr
A,
Prb,
PrC, Prd,
and
PrE.
Pr
A
has
one
mode
that
will
sound
a
beep
once
the
set
time
is
reached.
The
operator
sets
the
temperature
and
time.
After
running
Pr
A,
the
temperature
will
stay
at
the
set
temperature.
Prb
has
one
mode
that
will
sound
a
beep
once
the
set
time
is
reached.
The
operator
sets
the
temperature
and
time.
After
running
Pr
b,
the
heating
will
stop
and
the
temperature
will
cool
down
to
Room
Temperature.
Pr
C
has
two
modes.
For
each
mode
the
operator
sets
the
temperature
and
time.
When
starting
Pr
C,
the
first
timer
will
start.
At
the
end
of
this
time,
the
device
will
automatically
start
the
second
timer.
After
finishing
the
second
time,
the
device
will
keep
the
temperature
set
for
the
second
mode.
Pr
d
has
two
modes.
For
each
mode
the
operator
sets
the
temperature
and
time.
When
starting
Pr
d,
the
first
timer
will
start.
At
the
end
of
this
time,
the
device
will
beep.
The
operator
has
to
manually
start
the
second
timer.
After
finishing
the
second
time,
the
device
will
keep
the
temperature
set
for
the
second
mode.
Pr
E
has
five
modes
(P1,
P2,
P3,
P4
and
Ps).
For
all
of
these,
the
operator
sets
temperature
and
time.
The
temperature
for
all
modes
will
be
the
same.
The
time
is
measured
in
hours
and
can
be
different.
P1,
P2,
P3,
P4
and
Ps
can
run
independently.

Sicherheitsvorkehrungen
Vor
der
Inbetriebnahme
die
Anleitung
aufmerksam
durchlesen.
Dieses
Gerät
ist
in
Innenräumen
auf
einer
ebenen
Unterlage
zu
verwenden.
Vorsicht!
Der
Metallblock
im
Inkubator
heizt
sich
während
der
Benutzung
auf.
Um
Verletzungen
zu
vermeiden,
den
Metallblock
bitte
nicht
berühren.
Bitte
beachten
Sie
zudem,
dass
der
Metallblock
nach
dem
Abschalten
des
Inkubators,
einige
Zeit
zum
Abkühlen
benötigt.
Der
Benutzer
sollte
nicht
versuchen
das
Gerät
zu
öffnen
oder
zu
reparieren,
sondern
bei
Problemen
den
lokalen
DSM-Ansprech-
partner
um
Unterstützung
bitten.
Das
Gerät
ist
bei
einer
Umgebungstemperatur
zwischen

°C
(40
°F)
und
35
°C
(100
°F)
zu
verwenden.
Es
sollte
nicht
in
der
Nahe
eines
