02 Versions
Depending on the chosen version Kitchen box (Mono or Duo) there are 1 or 2 air inlets� A Duo offers the option of connecting an
extractor hood or a second valve via the second opening�

4� Frame with air inlet 2 (Duo variant)

03 Accessories
One valve is always needed� DUCO recommends DucoVent ZR (Hygro), as this makes it
easier to adjust the ventilation system�
Optionally, you can mount a Duco iAV for smart measurement based on CO2or humidity
(with or without a sensor in the valve itself)�

05 Preparation for assembly
Inspection hatch
Remove the inspection hatch�
Mounting side
Remove the mounting side�
Front
Remove the front�
06 Installation of Kitchen box
Provide a cable gland for cable entry on 1 of the fixed surfaces
Step 1
Drill a hole in one of the fixed surfaces of the frame, depending
on the installation situation�
Step 2
Mount a cable gland�

Mount the Kitchen Box on the wall
Step 1
Position the mounting side�
Keep a free space of 15 mm from the wall and from the ceiling�
Step 2
Attach the mounting side�
Make sure the mounting side is level�
Step 3
Place the frame over the mounting side�
Hook the frame into the mounting side� Make sure it hangs
securely�
Step 4
Secure the suspension with a screwdriver�

Step 1
Optionally place an iAV in the Kitchen box�

Mount the valve on air inlet 1�
Step 3
Mount the valve on air inlet 2 if desired�
Step 4
Or mount a connection sleeve for connecting the extractor hood if desired�
