The Nature of Timber
The timber provided for this product is a soft wood which has been kiln dried and is pressure treated for protection
against rot and insect infestation.
Timber is a natural product and inherent properties can include knots, knot holes, imperfections, cracks and warping.
Due to the inherent properties of timber we make no guarantees that the timber you receive for your product will be
free from these natural properties. We will not replace any components for any of the following reasons:
•Timber that contains knots where they do not influence the structural stability of the product
•Cosmetics appearances - colour variations
•Timber that has shakes, cracks, gaps or sap which do not influence the structural strength of the product
•Timber that has been covered or buried underground
•Twisted timber that can be installed
•Queries arising from a neglectful manner during assembly or as a result of incorrect assembly
•Queries due to modifications by the owner causing the timber to deform

Assembly Preparation
This product has been designed for self-assembly and recommend that assembly is carried out by two DIY competent
people. It is important that the assembly instructions are followed carefully and we recommend that the assembly
instructions are read through in their entirety prior to assembly to allow you to familiarise yourself first.
We recommend ensuring that the product is assembled in an appropriate location and on an appropriate base for
the product. It is imperative that the product is installed square, level and plumb.
To assemble your product we recommend that you have the following:
•Stepladder
•Drill
•3mm and 6mm drill bit
•Spirit level
•Tape measure
•Screwdriver
•Gloves - if you wish for extra protection when handling pressure treated timber
•Clear exterior use sealant and caulking gun
All screw holes need to be pre-drilled using a 3mm drill bit (not provided) to avoid timber splitting.
Pressure treated products do not need to be treated immediately or have a timber preservative applied.
Pressure treatment does not mean that the timbers are waterproof, so you may wish to apply a water repellent.

Although the specialist in-house design and manufacturing teams at Dunster House ensure that all the sheds we sell
are built to last, performing regular maintenance will help prolong the life of your shed and protect your investment.
Here at Dunster House, we recommend that systematic checks are carried out on your wooden shed at least once
a year. Here is a list of the key areas to focus on when performing maintenance.
Base
The timber of a shed that sits on an uneven base will deteriorate, twist and eventually break. If your shed is showing
any of these signs, it is vitally important that you rebuild your shed on an adequate base, to prevent any further
damage.
If laid correctly, a flat, level, resilient base offers the necessary protection against damp and moisture found
in the ground.
Protecting your shed against damp and moisture
Damp and moisture are the two things that are going to do the most damage to your shed; so going the extra mile,
beyond just making sure that your wooden shed is treated, can really help to protect your investment.
Water repellent treatment
How you customize and decorate your product is up to you, however we would recommend that you use
an appropriate water repellent treatment. This really helps minimize the amount of moisture that the timber can
absorb, therefore minimizing the risk of any major movement.
(Please note: water repellent treatment is not the same as pressure treatment, which protects against rot
and insect infestation, and which we guarantee for 10 Years!)
Maintaining your shed's environment
Ensuring that your wooden shed is in the best possible position within your garden can go a long way to protecting
it against damp and moisture. Water which consistently drips from leaves and branches can cause serious damage,
as can a branch that comes into immediate contact with a felt roof. Therefore measures should be taken to regularly
cut back any overhanging trees which may be in close proximity to your shed.
Wooden shed drainage
Ideally, if possible, your wooden shed should be placed at the highest point of your garden as this will aid drainage
naturally. Guttering can also be fitted to redirect water away from your shed, representing an excellent investment
for prolonging the life of your wooden shed.

•Secure the MFP to the bearers using 32x 35mm Screws spacing them out equally.

Principle of connecting panels
•Line up the panels so that the top and bottom of
each panel are flush with one another.
•Use 8x equally spaced 60mm screws to secure the
Front and Back Panel.

•Ensuring the top of the frames are flush with one another, use 4x
60mm Screws to fix the DOOR FRAME to the DOOR Side Panels.
•Use 4x 60mm Screws to fix Apex Panel RH to the previously assembled
structure.
•Use 10x 30mm Pin Nails to fix ST-PT15501775.Z to the front of the
door frame. Make sure it is flush to the bottom and side of the Side
Panel - Note: The Back View is shown on the images referenced.
PLEASE NOTE: The panels displayed are for a right sided door. To
change the door to the other side, switch from Panel RH to LH
SIDE WITHOUT DOOR:
•Line up the panels so that the top and bottom of each panel are flush with
one another.
•Use 4x equally spaced 60mm screws to secure APEX PANEL LH to the SIDE
PANEL.
PLEASE NOTE: The panels displayed are for a right sided door. To
change the door to the other side, switch from Panel LH to RH

•To build the Roof Support Brackets, begin by fixing ST-PT3535430 to ST-PT3535270.30
•Using 1x 60mm Screw.
•Nail 14x 30mm Nails to the shiplaps to the side of the end brackets as shown in
the image to the right.
•Ensure ST-PT15121465.120.Z is flush to the previously assembled Roof Support
Bracket.
•Repeat the previous steps for the other side of the shed.
•Fix ST-PT3535540.30.60 to the previously assembly structure, use 2x
60mm Screw.
•Repeat 3x for the remainder of the Roof Support Brackets.

•Begin by fixing Panel AH - 2300x1905 to the floor assembly as

•Fix both Side Panels & Side Panel With Door to the
assembled structure.
•Use 4x 60mm Screws to fasten each Side panel to floor
board.
•Use an additional 10x 60mm Screws to fasten Side

Front Panels:
•Finish off the side assembly by fixing the Front
Panel as illustrated.
•Use 8x 60mm Screws to fasten to floor board.

•Fix 2x ST-PT35351075.75.75 as shown in the image to the left.
•Use 2x 70mm Screws (1x for the front and 1x for the rear.)
Roof Front Support:
•Fix 3x ST-PT3535720.60 between each Roof Support Bracket.
•Use 2x 70mm Screws for each.

Corner Trim:

(timber trims) in each corner of the shed, as shown in the
diagram right.
•Make sure that the end of trim is flush with the bottom wall
shiplap.
•Fix each corner trim into both panels, use 10x 30mm nails
per each corner trim.

Eaves Edging:
•Fix the eaves edging batten - 2x ST-PT3535570.00.60, 2x
ST-PT35351180.00.75 & 2x ST-PT35352400 to your
shed as shown in the diagram.
•Use 19x 60mm Screws ensuring they are evenly spread.
Roof:
•Fix 1x WPC 2400x1200x10.Z onto the top of your shed to seal
the roof assembly.
•Using 8x 25mm HEXAGON SCREW 25mm+SADDLE+CAP
•Ensuring that the edges are flush with the eaves edging.
•Fix 1x WPC 2400x600x10.Z on to the smaller side of the shed.
•Using 8x 25mm HEXAGON SCREW 25mm+SADDLE+CAP.
•Ensuring that the edges are flush with the eaves edging.
•Ensure the roof is fixed onto the previously assembled support.
•Apply Self-adhesive metallic flashing strip where the 2 WPC
panels meet, use the Primer provided and follow the instruction on
the tin. Ensure the strip covers both WPC panels evenly. Refer to
the diagram on the left.

•Begin by placing 1x ST-PT3535260, 1x ST-PT3535260.A and 1x
ST-PT3535260.38.52 together in the same formation as shown in
the image to the left.
•Once completed, fix 3x 60mm Screws into the areas displayed.
•Repeat this step 2 times.
•Fix the Support Bracket to the Bottom Front Panel using 2x 70mm Screws as shown in the images below.
•Repeat this step 3 times
Bar Top:
•Fix 1x ST-PT-PAR35701500.A ensuring the notch clips onto the
Front Panel. Refer to the image below
•Use 3x 60mm Screws.
•Continue assembling the bar by fixing 3x ST-PT-PAR35701500 to
the initially fixed component.
•Ensuring they are equally spaced.
•Use 6x 60mm Screws

Handles:
•Fix Handle to the Hatch Window.
•Use 4x 20mm Screws.
•The handles should be positioned approximately in the middle of the
Hatch Window.
Refer to the image below.
•Repeat 3 times.
•Hook the Garden Hatch Window, ensuring the hooked end is at the top.
Refer to the diagram.
•Leave a 5mm gap on each side.

•Position the door in the frame.
•Ensuring there is a 5mm gap on each side of the door.
•The bottom edge of the door should be flush with the bottom
shiplap.

Hinge Assembly:
•Fix the hinges onto Side Panel
making sure you fix onto the door
rail. Use 6x 35mm Screws for each
hinge
•Use the images for reference.
Hasp & Staple.
•Position the hasp & staple.
•Ensuring that you fix the hasp & staple
in line with the middle rail of the door.

•Fix the drip tray into the front wall frame (represented by dashed
