ThewoodprovidedwithyourSummerHouseisasoftwoodthathasbeenkilndriedandis untreated.
Woodisanaturalproduct thatmay have knots, knotholes, imperfections, cracks and warping.
Duetotheinherentpeculiaritiesofwoodwemake noguaranteeswith regardstotheabove,norwillwebeabletoreplace
anytimberforanyofthefollowing:
• Anytimberthathasbeentreated,paintedorstainedbythepurchaser.
• Anytimberthatcontainsknotswherethey donotinfluencethestructuralstabilityof theSummerHouse.
• Cosmeticappearances-colourvariationscausedbythestructureorageof thetimber.
• Timberthathasshakes,cracksorgapsthatdonotinfluencethestructuralstrengthof theSummerHouse.
• Twistedtimberthatcanstillbeinstalledbyacompetentperson.
• Queriesarisingfrom aneglectfulmannerofconstruction,beitfoundationalorduring/duetotheerectionof theSummer
House.
• Queriesduetomodificationsbytheowner,causingtimbertodeform.
PREPARATIONFORASSEMBLY
Toassembleyour newSummerHouse,youwill need:
Twopeople(minimum),rubbermallet,hammer,drill withdrill bits,ladder,spiritlevelandameasuringtape.Asa
precautionarymeasure,protective glovescanbeworn.
Note: Pleasefamiliariseyourselfwiththemanualbeforeworkingthroughit.
Allvalidquerieswillbedealt with bytheexchangeor replacement ofthedefectivepartsonly.
Pleasepre-drill all holesprior tofixing!

PostInstallation
Treatment andMaintenance:
Youwillneedtotreatorpaintthegardenbuildingwithapreservative.Thegardenbuildingshouldbetreatedaftererection.
Youwillperiodicallyneedtore-applyapreservative.
Thisproductisdesignedforsummeruse.Ifyouwould liketomake itmoreweatherresistant,youcanachievethisbysealing
all thejointsinthepanelsandsashesbyrunningabeadof silicone(notsupplied)aroundanygapsthatcould potentiallyallow
theelementstopenetrate.Checkthesealsfrequentlytomake surethesealsareokay.
Thedoorsandwindowshave hingesthatarescrewedintotheframes.thesehingescanbeadjustedbyremovingthesashes
andeitherunscrewingorscrewingfurtherintothetimbertomakeadjustments.
