IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using and electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the
following:
Read all instructions before using this sewing machine.
DANGER – To reduce the risk of electric shock:
1. An appliance should never be left unattended when plugged in. Always unplug this appliance from
the electrical outlet immediately after using and before cleaning.
2. Do not reach for an appliance that has fallen into water. Unplug immediately.
3. Do not place or store appliance where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink. Do not place or drop
into water or other liquid.
WARNING – To reduce the risk of burns, fire, electric shock or injuries to persons:
1. Keep fingers away from all moving parts. Special care is required around the sewing machine needle.
2. Always use the proper needle plate. The wrong plate can cause the needle to break.
3. Do not use bent needles.
4. Do not push or pull fabric while stitching. It may deflect the needle causing it to break.
5. Switch the sewing machine off (“O”) when making any adjustments in the needle area, such as
threading needle, changing needle, threading bobbin, or changing presser foot, etc.
6. Always unplug sewing machine from the electrical outlet when removing covers, lubricating or when
making any other user servicing adjustments mentioned in the instruction manual.
7. Do not allow to be used as a toy. Close attention is necessary when this appliance is used by or near
children.
8. Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual. Use only attachments
recommended by the manufacturer as contained in this manual. Never operate on a soft surface such
as a bed or couch where air openings may be blocked.
9. Never operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, if it has
been dropped or damaged, or dropped into water. Return the appliance to the nearest authorized
dealer or service center for examination, repair, electrical or mechanical adjustment.
10. Never operate the appliance with any air openings blocked. Keep ventilation openings of the sewing
machine and foot controller free from the accumulation of lint, dust and loose cloth.
11. Never drop or insert any object into any opening.
12. Do not use outdoors.
13. Do not operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is being administered.
14. To disconnect, turn all controls to the off position, then remove plug from outlet.
15. Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.
16. Connect the appliance to a properly grounded outlet only. See Grounding Instructions.

This sewing machine is intended for household use only.
GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
This product must be grounded. In the event of malfunction or breakdown, grounding provides a path of
least resistance for electric current to reduce the risk of electric shock. This product is equipped with
a cord having an equipment-grounding conductor and a grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into
an appropriate outlet that is properly installed and grounded in accordance with all local codes and
ordinances.
DANGER – Improper connection of the equipment-grounding conductor can result in a risk of electric
shock. The conductor with insulation having an outer surface that is green with or without yellow stripes
is the equipment-grounding conductor. If repair or replacement of the cord or plug is necessary, do not
connect the equipment-grounding conductor to a live terminal.
Check with a qualified electrician or serviceman if the grounding instructions are not completely
understood, or if in doubt as to whether the product is properly grounded.
Do not modify the plug provided with the product – if it will not fit the outlet, have a proper outlet installed
by a qualified electrician.
This product is for use on a circuit having a nominal rating more than 120 V and is factory equipped with
a specific electric cord and plug. No adapter should be used with this product. If the product must be
reconnected for use on a different type of electric circuit, the reconnection should be made by qualified
service personnel; and after the reconnection, the product should comply with all local codes and
ordinances.

To use the AC/DC adapter:
1. Make certain the power is off. The ON/OFF Switch (H) should be in the OUT position
before plugging in the adapter.
2. Plug the adapter into the AC/DC jack (L) on the right side of the machine and the
other end into an electrical outlet.
3. Be certain the machine is properly threaded and that fabric is positioned correctly
for sewing before turning on machine.
To use batteries:
1. Make certain the power is off. The ON/OFF Switch (H) should be in the OUT
position.
2. Insert 4 AA batteries into the Battery Compartment (M) on the bottom of the machine.
Replace all 4 AA batteries as a simultaneous set.
3. Be certain the machine is properly threaded and fabric is positioned correctly for
sewing before turning on machine.
Threading the EasyStitcher™
Using a Pre-threaded Bobbin or a Thread Spool
The EasyStitcher™ comes pre-threaded from the factory. Carefully examine the
threading before removing it to replace the thread or bobbin with alternative thread.
To Sew with a Pre-threaded Bobbin:
1. Pull Bobbin Spindle (F) out from the sewing machine, if you are replacing the
threaded bobbin.
2. Insert the Bobbin Spindle (F) with threaded bobbin and spring attached behind the
bobbin into Bobbin Holder (E). Make certain the Bobbin Spindle is secured tightly to
the sewing machine and that the end of the thread runs over the top of the bobbin
and then, to the left.
3. Pull thread from the bobbin and insert thread through the Upper Thread Guide (Z),
Step #1 on machine, from right to left.
4. Pull thread over the Tension Adjusting Screw (X) and place it between the two
metal washers behind the Tension Adjusting Screw, Step #2 on machine. This
specific placement provides lockstitch tension to the thread.

5. Pull thread from the metal washers to the right and through the Thread Pulling Bar
(Y), Step #3 on machine, in a top to bottom direction.
6. Insert thread through the Lower Thread Guide (W), Step #4 on machine, in a top to
bottom direction.
7. Pull thread down to Thread Guide (T) located just above the Needle (R), inserting
thread from top to bottom.
8. Pull thread downward and insert thread through eye of the Needle (R) using needle
threader. If necessary, raise the Needle by turning the Hand Wheel (D) slightly
clockwise (away from you). Pull thread through eye of needle from left to right of
machine.
9. Raise the Presser Foot (Q) by lifting up on the Presser Foot Lever (AA).
10.Pull about 10 inches of thread through the Needle and lay it on the deck under the
Presser Foot (Q) running in the direction away from you.
To Sew with a Thread Spool:
1. Raise Thread Spindle (A) by grasping the exposed top and pulling upward until the
Thread Spindle is fully extended.
2. Place Thread Spool (B) on the Thread Spindle (A).
3. Pull thread from the Thread Spool (B) and thread it through the Upper Thread Guide
(Z), Step #1 on machine, from right to left.
4. Pull thread over the Tension Adjusting Screw (X) and place it between the two
metal washers behind the Tension Adjusting Screw, Step #2 on machine. This
specific placement provides lockstitch tension to the thread.
5. Pull thread from the metal washers to the right and through the Thread Pulling Bar
(Y), Step #3 on machine, in a top to bottom direction.
6. Insert thread through the Lower Thread Guide (W), Step #4 on machine, in a top to
bottom direction.
7. Pull thread down to Thread Guide (T) located just above the Needle (R), inserting
thread from top to bottom.
8. Pull thread downward and insert thread through eye of the Needle (R) using needle
threader. If necessary, raise the Needle by turning the Hand Wheel (D) slightly
clockwise (away from you). Pull thread through eye of needle from left to right of
machine.
9. Raise the Presser Foot (Q) by lifting up on the Presser Foot Lever (AA).
10.Pull about 10 inches of thread through the Needle and lay it on the deck under the
Presser Foot (Q) running in the direction away from you.

Adjusting Tension
The EasyStitcher™ has been adjusted for maximum performance so it is unlikely that
you will need to adjust the tension. However, if over time you find that your stitches
are too loose or too tight, you can adjust the tension.
1. To loosen the stitch, turn the Tension Adjusting Screw (X) to the left.
2. To tighten the stitch, turn the Tension Adjusting Screw (X) to the right.
Note: Loosening the stitch may be required when sewing heavier fabric; tightening
when sewing lighter fabric.
Controlling the Sewing Speed
1. In the High (fast) position the switch is out; in the Low (slow) position, the switch is in.
2. We recommend using the Low (slow) speed as you get comfortable with your
EasyStitcher™. As you gain experience and confidence in controlling the machine,
we recommend trying the High (fast) speed for faster stitching.
Stitch Length Adjustment and
Reverse Stitching
1. For a longer stitch, move the Stitch Length Adjustment Button (J) to the right. A
longer stitch is recommended for normal sewing.
2. For a shorter stitch, move the Stitch Length Adjustment Button (J) to the left.
3. When stitch Length Adjustment Button is in the stop position, machine will not
sew even though needle is moving.
4. To sew in reverse, push the Reverse Control Lever (N) down.

Bottom Bobbin Placement
1. Press the Release Button (BB) on the rear of the machine to unlatch the Bobbin
Compartment Cover (P).
2. Remove cover. Next, remove the Bobbin (V).
3. Place the bobbin with thread of your choice in the Bobbin Compartment (O) leaving
about 5 inches of thread extended directly out from the Bobbin Compartment.
4. Hold on to approximately 10 inches of the top thread that has been threaded
through the Needle (R).
5. Turn Hand Wheel (D) counterclockwise (toward you). The Needle (R) will descend,
picking up the bobbin thread. Turn Hand Wheel until Needle has descended
completely, and then ascends to its highest raised point. Continue to hold the top
thread with one hand while turning the Hand Wheel with the other. Do this until the
top thread catches the bobbin thread and brings it to the top.
6. Pull the two threads toward the rear (away from you) and lay them under the
Presser Foot (Q).
7. Snap the Bobbin Compartment Cover (P) down and back into place.
Note: It is essential that threading both top and bottom be done properly. Check
carefully and try one practice stitch before starting to sew. Improper threading will
damage the lockstitch.
Winding the Bobbin
Always remove the Bobbin (V) from the Bobbin Compartment (O) on the machine and
unthread the Needle (R) before winding a new bobbin.
1. Pull up the Thread Spindle (A) and place the Thread Spool (B) on the Thread Spindle.

2. Obtain an empty Class 15 metal bobbin. Insert the loose end of the thread from the
spool through one of the small holes located on the inside rim of the bobbin. Leave the
loose end of the thread on the outside of the bobbin. While holding the loose end of the
thread, wind the remaining thread several turns around the inside of the bobbin.
3. Pull the thread down from the Thread Spool (B) and over the Tension Adjusting
Screw (X). Thread must be positioned between the two metal washers behind the
Tension Adjusting Screw.
4. Press down the Bobbin Winder Lever (CC) in the back of the machine. The Bobbin
Winder Spindle (C) will lift up.
5. Place the bobbin on the Bobbin Winder Spindle (C); making certain that the thread
is winding on the bobbin in a counterclockwise direction (toward you).
6. Make sure the machine is set to Low speed (IN). Press the Foot Pedal or the ON/
OFF Switch (H) and the machine will start to wind the bobbin.
7. In order to distribute the thread evenly on the bobbin, you may need to gently guide
the thread toward the top of the bobbin with your finger as it is winding.
8. When the bobbin is full, stop the machine. Cut the thread close to bobbin. Remove
the bobbin from the Bobbin Winder Spindle (C).
9. Lift up the Bobbin Winder Lever (CC) in order to lower the Bobbin Winder Spindle
back into the machine.
Changing the Needle
1. Turn the Hand Wheel (D) clockwise (away from you) to raise the Needle (R) to its
highest position.
2. Loosen the Needle Clamp Screw (U) by turning it counterclockwise (toward you).
You may need to use a short slotted screwdriver or small pliers to loosen.
3. Remove the Needle (R), pulling it down and away from the Needle Clamp (S).
4. Place the new needle with the flat side facing right against the Needle Clamp (S).
5. Gently, push the new needle up as far as it will go against the Needle Clamp (S).
6. Tighten the Needle Clamp Screw (U) while holding the new needle in place.
Note: Needles come in various sizes. Numbers designate the width of the needle; the
smaller the number, the thinner the needle. Use smaller needles for more delicate
fabric and larger needles for heavier fabric.

Precautions
1. Set the ON/OFF Switch (H) to OFF and DO NOT touch the switch when inserting
batteries, plugging adapter into wall outlet or replacing the needle.
2. Children must only operate the EasyStitcher™ when supervised by an adult.
3. Set the ON/OFF Switch (H) to OFF after using. Remove adapter from wall when the
EasyStitcher™ is not in use or when operating with batteries.
4. DO NOT mix old and new batteries. DO NOT mix alkaline, standard (carbon zinc)
or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries. Replace all 4 AA batteries as a
simultaneous set.
5. DO NOT attempt to dismantle or rebuild the EasyStitcher™.
6. DO NOT set the ON/OFF Switch (H) to ON if fabric has not been placed on the unit
for sewing.
7. Always use a Class 15 metal bobbin.
We recommend that you practice straight stitching
on a scrap piece of fabric so you can get comfortable
with your EasyStitcher™.
Easy projects such as square pillows, shorts, simple
curtains or table napkins are a great place to start!

IMPORTANTE INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD

14. Para desconectarla, girar todos los mandos a la posición OFF (“O”) y luego retirar el conector del tomacorriente.
15. No desconectar tirando del cable. Para desconectar tome el conector y no el cable.
16. El nivel de intensidad sonora bajo condiciones normales de manejo es 75dB(A).
17. Apague la maquina y deconectela si no funciona correctamente.
18. Nunca coloque nada encima del pedal.
19. Si el cable de alimentación fijado al pedal esta danado, debe ser reemplazado por el fabricante o su servicio
tecnico u otra persona debidamente calificada a fin de evitar riesgos.
20. Este aparato no esta previsto para ser usado por personas (incluidos los ninos) con capacidades ffsicas,
sensoriales o mentales disminuidas, o sin experiencia y conocimiento, a menos que esten supervisadas o
hayan sido instruidas en el uso del aparato por una persona responsable de su seguridad.

INSTRUCCIONES DE ATERRIZADO
Este producto debe ser aterrizado. En caso de mal funcionamiento o falla, el aterrizado proporciona una ruta de
menor resistencia para la corriente eléctrica, reduciendo así el riesgo de choque eléctrico. Este producto está
equipado con un cable que posee un conductor para aterrizado de equipos y un enchufe a tierra. El enchufe debe
ser conectado a un tomacorriente apropiado que haya sido instalado apropiadamente y aterrizado de acuerdo con
todos los códigos y ordenamientos locales.

Instrucciones para utilizar el adaptador incluido:
1. Asegúrese de que la máquina esté apagada. Asegúrese de que el interruptor de
ENCENDIDO/APAGADO (ON/OFF) (H) esté en APAGADO (OFF) antes de conectar el
adaptador.
2. Enchufe el adaptador en la entrada (L), ubicada en el lado derecho de la máquina,
y el otro extremo, en el tomacorriente.
3. Asegúrese de que la máquina esté enhebrada como corresponde y que la tela se
encuentre en la posición de costura correcta antes de encender la unidad.
Instrucciones para utilizar las baterías:
1. Asegúrese de que la máquina esté apagada. Asegúrese de que el interruptor de
ENCENDIDO/APAGADO (ON/OFF) (H) esté en APAGADO (OFF).
2. Coloque 4 baterías AA en el compartimento de baterías (M), ubicado en el fondo de
la máquina.Reemplace todas las 4 baterías AA al mismo tiempo.
3. Asegúrese de que la máquina esté enhebrada como corresponde y de que la tela
se encuentre en la posición de costura correcta antes de encender la unidad.
Enhebrado de la EasyStitcher™
Utilizando una Bobina preenhebrada o un Carrete de hilo
La máquina de coser EasyStitcher™ viene preenhebrada de fábrica. Preste atención al
enhebrado antes de desarmarlo, para reemplazar el hilo o la bobina con hilo alternativo.
Para coser con la Bobina preenhebrada:
1. Retire el eje de bobina (F) de la máquina si va a reemplazar la bobina enhebrada.
2. Coloque el eje de bobina (con la bobina enhebrada y el resorte fijo detrás de la
bobina) en el portabobina (E). Asegúrese de que el eje de bobina quede fijo en la
máquina de coser y que el extremo del hilo pase por encima de la bobina y caiga
hacia la izquierda.
3. Tire del hilo y páselo a través de la guía de enhebrado superior (Z), paso #1 en la
máquina, de derecha a izquierda.
4. Pase el hilo sobre el tornillo de ajuste de tensión (X) y colóquelo entre las dos
arandelas metálicas, ubicadas detrás del tornillo de ajuste de tensión, paso #2 en
la máquina. Esto es lo que le permite al hilo tener tensión de puntada de pespunte.

5. Extienda el hilo ubicado entre las arandelas metálicas hacia la derecha y páselo a
través de la palanca tira hilo (Y), paso #3 en la máquina, de arriba hacia abajo.
6. Pase el hilo a través de la guía de enhebrado inferior (W), paso #4 en la máquina,
de arriba hacia abajo.
7. Estire el hilo hacia abajo hasta la guía de enhebrado (T) ubicado apenas sobre la
aguja (R), e introduzca el hilo de arriba hacia abajo.
8. Tire el hilo hacia abajo y enhébrelo a través del ojo de la aguja (R) con la ayuda del
enhebrador de agujas. Si es necesario, gire el volante levemente en el sentido de
las agujas del reloj (en el sentido contrario al suyo) para levantar la aguja. Pase el
hilo a través del ojo de la aguja desde la izquierda hacia la derecha de la máquina.
9. Para subir el pie prensatela (Q), levante la palanca del pie prensatela (AA).
10.Pase aproximadamente 25 cm (10”) de hilo a través de la aguja y colóquelo en el
tablero de costura debajo del pie prensatela (Q) en la dirección contraria a la suya.
Para coser con un Carrete de hilo:
1. Levante el eje de carrete (A) de la parte superior que sobresale y tírelo hacia arriba
hasta que quede totalmente extendido.
2. Coloque el carrete de hilo (B) en el eje de carrete (A).
3. Tire del hilo del carrete (B) y páselo a través de la guía de enhebrado superior (Z),
paso #1 en la máquina, de derecha a izquierda.
4. Pase el hilo sobre el tornillo de ajuste de tensión (X) y colóquelo entre las dos
arandelas metálicas, ubicadas detrás del tornillo de ajuste de tensión, paso #2 en
la máquina. Esto es lo que le permite al hilo tener tensión de puntada de pespunte.
5. Extienda el hilo ubicado entre las arandelas metálicas hacia la derecha y páselo a
través de la palanca tira hilo (Y), paso #3 en la máquina, de arriba hacia abajo.
6. Pase el hilo a través de la guía de enhebrado inferior (W), paso #4 en la máquina,
de arriba hacia abajo.
7. Estire el hilo hacia abajo hasta la guía de enhebrado (T) ubicado apenas sobre la
aguja (R), e introduzca el hilo de arriba hacia abajo.
8. Tire el hilo hacia abajo y enhébrelo a través del ojo de la aguja (R) con la ayuda del
enhebrador de agujas. Si es necesario, gire el volante levemente en el sentido de
las agujas del reloj (en el sentido contrario al suyo) para levantar la aguja. Pase el
hilo a través del ojo de la aguja desde la izquierda hacia la derecha de la máquina.
9. Para subir el pie prensatela (Q), levante la palanca del pie prensatela (AA).
10.Pase aproximadamente 25 cm (10”) de hilo a través de la aguja y colóquelo en el
tablero de costura debajo del pie prensatela (Q) en la dirección contraria a la suya.

Ajuste de la tensión
Es posible que no necesite ajustar la tensión de la EasyStitcher™, ya que viene
configurada y ajustada de fábrica para brindar un rendimiento máximo. No obstante,
si con el transcurso del tiempo usted percibe que las puntadas quedan demasiado
flojas o apretadas, puede ajustar la tensión de la máquina.
1. Para aflojar la tensión de la puntada, gire el tornillo de ajuste de tensión (X) hacia
la izquierda.
2. Para ajustar la tensión de la puntada, gire el tornillo de ajuste de tensión (X) hacia
la derecha.
NOTA: Al trabajar con telas pesadas, es posible que tenga que aflojar la tensión de la
puntada. Al coser telas livianas, deberá ajustarla.
Control de la velocidad de costura
1. Al escoger la velocidad alta (H en el botón), el botón queda hacia afuera. En la
velocidad lenta (L en el botón), éste queda al ras de la máquina.
2. Al principio, mientras se acostumbra a la EasyStitcher™, le recomendamos utilizar
la velocidad lenta (L en el botón). A medida que comience a adquirir experiencia y
confianza en el control de la máquina, le sugerimos que utilice la velocidad alta (H
en el botón), para coser con mayor rapidez.
Regulador del largo de puntada
y costura en reversa
1. Para alargar la puntada, mueva el botón regulador del largo de puntada (J) hacia la
derecha. Para una costura normal, se recomienda utilizar una puntada más larga.
2. Para acortar la puntada, mueva el botón regulador del largo de puntada (J) hacia la
izquierda.
3. Cuando el Botón de ajuste de longitud de puntada esté en posición de stop, la
máquina no coserá aunque se mueva la aguja.
4. Si desea coser en reversa, presione hacia abajo la palanca de control en reversa (N).

Colocación de la bobina inferior
1. Presione el botón relevador (BB), ubicado detrás de la máquina, para liberar la
tapa del compartimento de bobina (P).
2. Quite la tapa. Luego, la bobina (V).
3. Coloque la bobina con el hilo deseado en el compartimento de bobina (O) y deje
cerca de 13 cm (5”) de hilo extendido fuera del compartimento.
4. Sujete aproximadamente 25 cm (10”) del hilo superior enhebrado en la aguja (R).
5. Gire el volante (D) en el sentido contrario a las agujas del reloj (hacia usted). De
este modo, la aguja (R) bajará y recogerá el hilo de la bobina. Gire el volante hasta
que la aguja haya bajado por completo. Luego, elévela hasta su punto máximo. Siga
sosteniendo el hilo superior con una mano, mientras gira el volante polea con la otra.
Hágalo hasta que el hilo superior se enganche con el de la bobina y lo levante.
6. Estire los dos hilos hacia atras de la máquina (en el sentido contrario al suyo) y
colóquelos debajo del pie prensatela (Q).
7. Coloque la tapa del compartimento de bobina (P) y presiónelo en su lugar.
Nota: Es muy importante que tanto el enhebrado del hilo superior como del inferior
se realice de forma correcta. Verifique esto y realice una puntada de prueba antes de
comenzar a coser. Si la máquina no está correctamente enhebrada, se puede llegar a
dañar la puntada de pespunte.
Devanado de la bobina
Siempre quite la bobina (V) del compartimento de bobina (O) de la máquina y
desenhebre la aguja (R) antes de devanar una nueva bobina.
1. Levante el eje de carrete (A). Coloque el carrete de hilo (B) en el eje de carrete.
2. Utilice una bobina metálica Clase 15 vacía. Enhebre el extremo suelto del hilo del
carrete a través de uno de los pequeños orificios ubicados en el borde interior de

la bobina. Deje el extremo suelto del hilo fuera de la bobina. Mientras lo sostiene,
dé varias vueltas para enrollarlo alrededor del eje de ésta.
3. Estire el hilo del carrete (B) hacia abajo y páselo sobre el tornillo de tensión (X). El hilo
debe quedar colocado entre las dos arandelas metálicas, detrás del tornillo de tensión.
4. Baje la palanca del devanador de bobina (CC), ubicada en la parte posterior de la
máquina. Al hacerlo, el eje del devanador de bobina (C) se levantará.
5. Coloque la bobina en el eje del devanador de bobina (C) y asegúrese de devanar el
hilo en la bobina en el sentido contrario de las agujas del reloj (hacia usted).
6. Asegúrese de que esté seleccionada la velocidad baja (IN). Pise el pedal o
accione el interruptor de ENCENDIDO/APAGADO (ON/OFF) (H) para que la máquina
comience a devanar la bobina.
7. Para distribuir el hilo de forma pareja en la bobina, es posible que, mientras se
realiza el devanado, usted deba guiar el hilo hasta la parte superior de la bobina,
con la ayuda de la punta de los dedos.
8. Cuando la bobina esté llena, detenga la máquina. Corte el hilo cerca de la bobina.
Quite la bobina del eje del devanador de bobina (C).
9. Levante la palanca del devanador de bobina (CC) para que el eje del devanador de
bobina (C) regrese dentro de la máquina.
Reemplazo de la aguja
1. Gire el volante (D) en el sentido de las agujas del reloj (en sentido contrario a
usted), para que la aguja (R) se eleve hasta su punto máximo.
2. Gire el tornillo de la abrazadera de la aguja (U), en el sentido contrario a las agujas
del reloj (hacia usted), para aflojarlo. Para hacerlo, es posible que deba utilizar un
destornillador corto para tornillos de cabeza ranurada o un alicate pequeño.
3. Extraiga la aguja (R). Para ello, tírela hacia abajo y desengánchela de la abrazadera (S).
4. Coloque la nueva aguja con la cara plana mirando hacia arriba, contra la abrazadera (S).
5. Con cuidado, empuje la aguja hacia arriba, lo máximo posible, contra la abrazadera (S).
6. Ajuste el tornillo de la abrazadera de la aguja (U), mientras sujeta la nueva aguja en su lugar.
Nota: Las agujas vienen en distintos tamaños, cada uno con un número distinto que
especifica el ancho de la aguja. Cuanto menor es el número, más fina es la aguja. Utilice
las agujas más pequeñas para telas delicadas y las más grandes para telas gruesas.

Precauciones
1. Posicione el interruptor de ENCENDIDO/APAGADO (ON/OFF) (H) en APAGADO
(OFF) y NO lo toque cuando esté instalando las baterías, enchufando el adaptador
a un tomacorriente o reemplazando la aguja.
2. Cuando los niños cuando utilicen la EasyStitcher™ siempre deberán estar
acompañados de un adulto.
3. Posicione el interruptor de ENCENDIDO/APAGADO (H) en APAGADO (OFF) cuando
deje de utilizar la máquina. Desenchufe el adaptador del tomacorriente cuando la
EasyStitcher™ no esté en uso o cuando esté funcionando con baterías.
4. No combine baterías agotadas con baterías nuevas. NO mezcle baterías alcalinas,
convencionales (cinc-carbono) o recargables (níquel-cadmio). Reemplace todas
las 4 baterías AA al mismo tiempo.
5. NO intente desarmar ni rearmar la EasyStitcher™.
6. NO active el interruptor de ENCENDIDO/APAGADO (H) a ENCENDIDO (ON) si no ha
colocado ninguna tela en la unidad.
7. Siempre utilice una bobina metálica Clase 15.

INSTRUCTIONS IMPORTANTES DE SECURITE
Lors de l’utilisation d’un appareil electrique, il est important de toujours suivre certaines precautions de securite
dont certaines sont les suivantes :
Lire toutes les instructions avant d’utiliser votre machine a coudre :
DANGER — Pour eviter tout risque d’electrocution :
1. Lorsque la machine est branchee, ne jamais la laisser sans surveillance. Toujours debrancher la machine a
coudre de la prise de courant immediatement apres l’usage et avant l’entretien.
2. Ne touchez pas à un appareil qui est tombé dans l’eau. Veuillez immédiatement débrancher.
3. Ne pas placer ou ranger l’appareil dans un endroit où il risque de tomber ou d’être entraîné dans une
baignoire ou un évier. Ne pas placer ou laisser tomber dans l’eau ou tout autre liquide.
AVERTISSEMENT—Pour reduire les risques de brulures, d’incendie, d’electrocution ou de
blessures:
5. Ne pas approcher vos doigts de toute partie mobile. Preter une attention particuliere a proximite de l’aiguille
de votre machine a coudre.

9. Mettre la machine hors tension (position “O”) avant de faire tout reglage dans la zone de l’aiguille, comme
par exemple enfiler l’aiguille ou remplacer celle-ci ou encore changer le pied presseur etc.
10. Toujours debrancher la machine a coudre de la prise de courant avant d’enlever le capotage, de lubrifier ou
de faire tout reglage specifie dans ce mode d’emploi.
1. Ne pas autoriser l’utilisation de la machine comme jouet. Faire tres attention lorsque la machine est utilisee
par des enfants ou a proximite d’enfants.
2. N’utiliser cette machine que dans le but pour lequel elle a ete concue tel que specifie dans ce manuel.
N’utiliser que les accessoires specifies dans ce manuel et recommandes par le fabricant.
3. Ne jamais utiliser cette machine a coudre si le cable d’alimentation ou la prise sont endommages ou si son
fonctionnement n’est pas normal, si elle est tombee par terre, dans de l’eau ou si elle a subi des dommages.
Si c’est le cas s’adresser au service apres vente le plus proche pour obtenir une reparation ou un reglage
electrique ou mecanique.
4. Ne jamais utiliser le machine si des ouvertures d’air sont obstruees. S’assurer que les orifices de ventilation
et la pedale de commande sont libres de toute accumulation de poussieres ou de morceaux de tissu.
11. Ne jamais laisser tomber ou introduire d’objet dans les ouvertures de la machine.
12. Ne pas utiliser a l’exterieur.
13. Ne pas utiliser la machine dans des endroits ou des aerosols sont pulverises ou de l’oxygene est administre.
14. Pour debrancher la machine, placer toutes les commandes sur la position d’arret (“O”) et ensuite, retirer la
fiche de la prise de courant.
15. Ne pas debrancher la machine en tirant sur le fil. Debrancher en tirant sur la fiche et non sur le fil.
GARDER CE MODE D’EMPLOI
Cette machine à coudre est destinée à un usage domestique exclusif.
INSTRUCTIONS DE MISE À LA TERRE:
Cet appareil doit être mis à la terre. Dans l’éventualité d’un mauvais fonctionnement ou d’un bris, la mise à la
terre assure un trajet de résistance moindre pour le courant électrique afin de réduire le risque de décharge
électrique. Cet appareil est équipé d’un cordon d’alimentation doté d’un conducteur et d’une fiche d’alimentation
électrique pour mise à la terre. La fiche d’alimentation électrique doit être branchée dans une prise murale
appropriée correctement installée et mise à la terre, conformément aux codes et règlements locaux.
DANGER — Un mauvais raccordement de l’appareil au conducteur de mise à la terre peut causer une
décharge électrique. Le conducteur dont la surface isolante est verte, avec ou sans rayures jaunes, représente
le conducteur de mise à la terre de l’appareil. Si le cordon d’alimentation ou la fiche doivent être remplacés, ne
pas brancher le conducteur de mise à la terre de l’appareil à une borne sous tension.
Vérifier auprès d’un électricien ou d’un technicien qualifié si les instructions de mise à la terre ne sont pas bien
comprises, ou s’il y a des doutes concernant la mise à la terre de cet appareil.
Ne pas altérer la fiche fournie avec l’appareil, si elle ne s’insère pas dans votre prise, faire installer une prise
adéquate par un électricien qualifié.
Cet appareil est conçu pour une utilisation sur un circuit dont la valeur nominale est supérieure à 120V et est
équipé en usine d’un cordon d’alimentation et d’une fiche électrique spécifiques. Cet appareil ne doit être utilisé
