BERKSHIRE ROCKER

STEP 1: (a) Lay all pieces on a smooth soft surface such as cardboard or carpet to help avoid scratching. We suggest using a 6”
#2 square drive bit to fasten all screws (available at your local hardware store). Be careful to not over tighten any of the
fasteners.
Tools Needed
Cordless Drill
6” #2 Square Drive Bit

STEP 2: (b) (x2) Place Side Assembly on a work bench preferably with the arm rest hanging off of the bench and attach the
rocker using the 3”flat head stainless steel screws provided. (c) Be sure to leave the shrink wrap on the back assembly until
the rocker is completely assembled.

STEP 3: (d) Use a soft hammer (if necessary) to insert the Back Top and Back Assembly in the mortises in the Side Assembly.
(e) Insert the Seat Assembly and stretchers in the mortises making sure to position the shorter side to the rear.

STEP 4: (f) Place the other Side Assembly on top of the subassembly, with the mortises facing down, and then line the Back
Top, Back Assembly, Seat Assembly, and stretchers up with the mortises in the Side Assembly and gently pound them in
using your hand or a soft hammer. (g) Fasten with the 2” stainless steel flat head screws provided. Flip the assembly over
and fasten the other Side Assembly.
