NOTE: In order to know where the post needs to be placed, check the numbers on them. If the post is not marked, then place the
single Supports on the ground to locate the markings for each post position and clearly set your bearings. (“Don´t attach yet, only
place them on the ground to begin with”).
Step 1: Install the anchor base (24)with ½´´ X 4´´ anchor bolts (A) or lag bolts. Please see the “How to anchor your pergola
document” for all details. Set your post (1) in the saddle of the anchor bases (24). Drill a ø ¼´´ hole in the post prior to anchoring
to facilitate the ratcheting of the hardware. After that, use a 5/16´´ X 3´´ lag bolts (B) to attach each post to the its respective
anchor base (24).

Step 2: Use the T-Supports (25), 3/8 X 8 ½´´ bolts (C) and 3/8´´ X 3´´ Lag Bolts (B) to attach the supports (2) to the posts. Each
part has a series of numbers that indicate where to attach the part with the corresponding number.

Step 3: Attach the Angles-A (26) to the posts and to the supports with 3/8´´ x 3´´ lag bolts (B).
Step 4: Use Angles-B (27) and Use Angles-C (28) whit 3/8´´ X 3´´ Lag Bolts (B) and 3/8´´ X 8 ½´´ (C) to attach the Triangles
(3,4) to the supports. Each part has a series of numbers that indicate where to attach the part with the corresponding number.

Step 5: Attach the Long Ridge Beam (5)to the Triangles with 3/8´´ x 6´´ Lag bolts (D). Each part has a series of numbers that
indicate where to attach the part with the corresponding number.
Step 6: Use Angles-D (29), 5/16´´ x 3 ½´´ bolts (F) and 3/8´´ x 3´´ lag bolts (B) to attach the rafters (8) to the supports. After
that, attach the rafters to the beam with 3/8´´ x 4´´lag bolts (E). Each part has a series of numbers that indicate where to attach
the part with the corresponding number.

Step 7: Use Angles-E (30), 3/8´´ x 2 ´´ bolts (G)or 3/8´´ x 3´´ lag bolts (B) to attach the bridge (9)to the triangles. After that,
attach to the beam with 3/8´´ x 4´´lag bolts (E). Each part has a series of numbers that indicate where to attach the part with the
corresponding number.
Step 8: Attach rafters (10b) to the long ridge beam and to the bridge with 3/8´´ x 4´´ lag bolts (E). After that, attach to the rafters
(10a) to the long ridge beam whit 3/8´´ x 6´´ lag bolts (D) and to the bridge with 3/8´´ x 4´´ lag bolts (E). Each part has a series
of numbers that indicate where to attach the part with the corresponding number.

Step 9: Attach triangle 3 (11) to the posts and to the supports with 3/8´´ x 12´´ Lag Bolts (H).
Step 10: Attach the short ridge beam (13) to the bridge with Angle-G (31) and 3/8´´ x 2´´ Lag Bolts (G). After that, attach the
short ridge beam (13) to the triangle 3 (11) whit 3/8´´ x 6´´ Lag Bolts(D).

Step 11: Attach the diagonals (14, 15) to the bridge with 3/8´´ x 6´´ Lag Bolts (D). After that attach to the support whit Angle-
G (32) and 3/8´´ x 3´´ Lag Bolts (B).
Step 12: Attach the short rafters (16, 17) to the bridge and short ridge beam (13) whit and 3/8´´ x 4´´ Lag Bolts (E). After that
attach the short rafters (16, 17) to the diagonals whit 3´´ deck screws (L).

Step 13: Attach the fascia board (20)whit 3´´deck screws(K). Attach the overhang boards (18, 19) whit 1 5/8´´ deck screws
(L).
Step 14: Attach the corner knee braces (6, 7) to the posts and to the supports with 3/8´´ x 12´´ Bolts (I). After that attach the
center braces together (6, 7) whit 3/8´´ x 18´´ Bolts (J)and with the support with 3/8´´ x 12´´ Bolts (I).

Step 15: Use 1 5/8´´ deck screws (L) to attach the roof boards (22) to the rafters. Put the boards from the bottom to the top. Each
part has a series of numbers that indicate where to attach the part with the corresponding number.
Step 15: Use 5´´ deck screws (M) to attach the cupola (23) to the roof boards. Each part has a series of numbers that indicate
where to attach the part with the corresponding number.

Step 16: Finally, use 3´´ deck screws (K) to attach the boots (22) to the posts. Each part has a series of numbers that indicate
where to attach the part with the corresponding number.
