Before You Start

Be sure all the following equipment and accessories have been included with your
CVR. If anything is missing, contact your dealer.

Recharging the CVR
Connect the CVR to the USB cable provided, use an appropriate adaptor to charge
the CVR. The RED LED will light up. It takes around 180 minutes to fully recharge.

Insert Micro SD card
When you insert your card into the micro SD slot you will hear a ’click’ sound that
means the SD card insert correctly. To remove the card, press the card lightly, it will
eject partially allowing you pull the card out.
**Do not remove or insert the Micro SD Card when the CVR is switching on

Turning Power ON / OFF
Connect the charger to the car cigarette port, the CVR will switch on/switch off &
start/stop recording automatically once the engine started/off. Or press and Hold the
Power Button to switch on the CVR manually.

Start/Stop Recording
Press OK Button to start recording (a red dot will blinking on the screen), press
again to stop recording (the red dot will disappear).

Enter Menu Setting
Press OK Button to stop recording. Press Menu Button to enter Video Menu
Setting. Press again to enter General Menu Setting.

Select Menu Setting
Press UP Key or DOWN Key to choose the preferable menu setting. Press OK
Button to confirm the selection.

Exit Menu Setting
Press Menu Button to exit the Menu Setting.

vSet Date & Time
Enter General Menu Setting, choose Date/Time, use the UP Key & DOWN Key
to adjust the correct date & time.

Enter Photo Taking Mode & Playback Mode
Press Mode Button to enter Photo Taking Mode, press OK Button to snap a
photo. Press Mode Button again to enter Playback Mode, select the file by using
UP/DOWN Key and press OK Button to play the selected file.

Resolution
Select your preferable resolution. The higher resolution, the clearer footage will be
recorded. Recommended setting: 1080FHD

Loop Recording
Select the footage duration from 1 minutes/ 2 minutes/ 3 minutes. Select OFF if you do
not want to split the footage to different files. Recommended setting: 2 minutes or 3
minutes

WDR
Wide Dynamic Range adjusts automatically to bright and dark areas to adjust for and
eliminate overexposure and under exposure conditions.

Exposure
Adjust Exposure Value (lighter or brighter) for optimal image effect.
v
Motion Detection
Motion Detection enables the CVR to record any moving objects in front of the camera
automatically. The CVR will continue recording until the battery runs out. Recommended
setting: Only turn on when needed.

Record Audio
Turn ON/OFF the Record Audio function to enable/disable audio recording dur ing
recording mode.

Date Stamp
Turn ON/OFF the Date Stamp function to enable/disable the date shown on the footage.

G-sensor
The built in G-sensor allows the CVR to record any impact or sudden course changes so
that the event is locked & protected automatically and will not be overwritten on the
memory card. Recommended setting: Normal

vTime Lapse
Time lapse means the frequency at which film frames are captured (the frame rate) is
much lower than that used to view the sequence. When played at normal speed, time
appears to be moving faster and thus lapsing. Select from the options 100ms/ 200ms/
500ms, . The higher milliseconds, the more footage can be recorded in the same
amount of time as the recording is speeded up. Hence it will save disc space Turn OFF i

you want the video to be recorded in normal speed.

Parking Mode
Turn on the Parking Mode function allow the CVR switch on and start recording
automatically while the CVR is turned off. It will only function when the CVR feels the
impact. It will continue recording until the battery runs out, a “P” is shown on the scree
n.
Recommended setting: High (when needed)

Date/Time
Adjust date & time setting before start using the CVR.

Plate Num
Choose to insert your car plate number

Beep Sound
Turn the keypad sound ON/OFF

Language
Select your preferable language

TV Mode
Connect to a HDMI Cable (additional accessories) and playback on a TV. Choose from
NTSC or PAL for optimal viewing.

Frequency
Select 50 Hz or 60 Hz

Screen Saver
The screen will be shut down in 30 seconds/1 minutes/2 minutes. Select OFF if you do
not want the screen to shut down. The CVR will keep recording even the screen is shut
down. Press any button to turn on the screen.

Auto Power Off
CVR will auto shutdown in 3 minutes/5 minutes/10 minutes. Recommended setting:

Colour
Select the colour of your pictures from the options: Normal/ Black and White/ Sepia

vISO
ISO is the level of sensitivity of your camera to available light. The lower the ISO
number, the less sensitive it is to the light, while a higher ISO number increases the
sensitivity of your camera. Select from the options Auto/ 100/ 200/ 400
vExposure
Adjust Exposure Value (lighter or brighter) for optimal image effect.
vAnti-Shaking
This setting allows users to shoot images at slow shutter speeds, without causing
blurring when shooting hand held.
vDate/Time
Turn OFF/Date/Date and Time function to enable/disable the date or date and time
shown on the footage.

Troubleshooting
Unable to record or take photo
Confirm that the Micro SD card is
of proper class (Minimum: Class 6)
and has available capacity
Device doesn’t work with my SD
card
If the device doesn’t recognize the
card, remove the SD card and
reinsert. If still not recognized, the
SD card may be damaged or the
device does not support this type
of memory card. Try another
memory card.
“File Error” appears during replay
Uncompleted files due to Micro SD
card storage error. Reformat card
Video or photo unclear
Check lens for fingerprints,
protective film or other
obstruction. Use a soft cloth to
clean lens.
Black image when recording sky
or water scene
Scenes with large contrast can
influence the automatic exposure
function. Adjust Exposure setting
to correct image
Colour is affected by cloudy or
bright conditions
Set the "White Balance" function
to automatic
The device doesn't turn on
immediately when I start my car
Make sure that the 'Power On
Delay' is turned off
