Training with the assistance of electrical mu-
scle stimulation (electromyostimulation), also
called EMS training, is based on the targeted
control of the striated muscles by means of
electrical impulses. This simulates the natural
activation of the muscles. This activation
causes the muscle fibres to contract without
receiving a signal from the CNS (central
nervous system). Usually, the commands to
contract come from the brain. During physical
exertion, these electrical impulses are sent by
nerves to the muscles. Due to the similarity
of the impulses sent from the CNS and during
EMS training, the muscle cannot distinguish
their origin and a contraction occurs; i.e., the
command to the muscle to contract comes
from an external source, via the electrodes
incorporated into the
eaglefit®PRO EMS
suit.
When using EMS, rhythmic stimuli or impulses
act on the muscles to be trained, which leads
to targeted tension and relaxation. In physio-
therapy, it is usually only individual muscles or
muscle groups that are trained using electri-
cal stimuli. Furthermore, no movements are
INTENDED USERS
MEANING AND FUNCTIONALITY
carried out in addition to the electrical muscle
stimulation. This is different with full-body EMS
training.
Since you combine EMS training with targeted
exercises, you also train your coordination, and
the increase in strength can be converted into
a targeted movement. In addition, this holistic
training strengthens the agonists, antagonists
and stabilisation muscles, which are difficult
to reach and influence with normal training.
This prevents muscular imbalances, which can
occur in the event of one-sided training of the
individual large muscle groups.
Furthermore, by simultaneously controlling the
muscles, protective compensatory postures
can be avoided or reduced, which means that
no incorrect loading occurs. Thanks to the
possibility of integrating additional training
exercises during the EMS training, your intra-
and inter-muscular coordination gets improved
as well as your motor skills. Another positive
effect of the additional exercises is the adapta-
tion of the tendons, ligaments and joints to
the targeted gains in strength in the muscles.
Since no heavy weights are required for muscle
contraction, this form of full-body training is
very gentle on the joints.
In addition to the advantages just mentioned,
there is also the aspect of saving time compared
to conventional forms of training. The amount of
time required is only 20–60 minutes per week.
Positive effects
• Reduction in waist and abdominal
circumference
• Decrease in body fat
• Increase in endurance and performance
• Reduction of back problems
• Improved endurance when the back is
loaded in everyday situations
• 15–20 minutes of EMS training burns
approx. 400–500 kcal when done at an
adequate intensity and if the exercises
are carried out appropriately
• Increase in maximum performance
(speed of movement + strength)
Specic effects of EMS training
EMS and movement
• In contrast to the static working method, dy-
namic muscle work leads to improved blood
flow and circulation of the lymphatic fluid
• Physical activity improves the tensile
strength of the tendons and the supply of
the articular cartilage
• The tendon fibres and ligaments experience
hypertrophy, the articular cartilage grows,
and there is an increase in the mineral cont-
ent and bone size
• Eccentric strength training, in particular,
affects the connective tissue (tendons and
ligaments)
• Tendon and ligament damage can be reme-
died more quickly by targeted activity
• These changes in the body provide a degree
of protection against injury
EMS and functional training
• Training of the whole body (muscles, ten-
dons, ligaments)
• The focus is on learning and performing the
movement
• Based on stabilisation of the body and espe-
cially the core muscles
• Can be supported with different training de-
vices (sling trainer, balance pad, kettlebell,
exercise ball, …)
EMS and sling training
• Exercises for the whole body and isolation
exercises for individual muscles
• The load intensity can easily be varied
through the angle to the anchoring point
of the sling trainer
• The stabilisers are trained by using unstable
grip ropes and this is yet further increased
by using a guide pulley
• The guide pulley allows a high level of
variety in the exercises
• No large space requirements
• Easy to assemble and dismantle
EMS and outdoor training
• Ability to combine EMS and outdoor training
• Exercises for the whole body
• The intensity of the exercises is varied
through your own body weight, the shape of
the terrain or the use of everyday objects
• Additional psychological effects from out-
door training
• Motivation due to variety
Training with the
eaglefit®PRO EMS System
does not require any explicit medical and/or
fitness-specific knowledge. However, we would
like to point out that the instruction manual
must be read carefully and understood before
the
eaglefit®PRO EMS System
is used for the
first time. Failure to heed the contents of this
instruction manual may result in dangerous si-
tuations and, in extreme cases, death. Training
is prohibited for those under the age of 18.
The manufacturer assumes no liability in the
event of non-compliance or for the resulting
damage.

General information for training
Full-body EMS training offers the opportunity
to design a highly effective and time-efficient
workout. It is therefore a very good way to
increase strength, build muscle and lose fat.
High stimulus intensities can be generated,
which are greater than those from a conventi-
onal training method.
As a result, some important conditions must
be observed during training:
Preparing for training
• Full-body EMS training can only be carried
out when you are in an appropriate physical
condition
• You should take care to fill up your carbohy-
drate stores before training, because, due
to the very high proportion of muscle mass
that is recruited, the metabolic load is high
• In addition, care should be taken to increase
fluid intake before, during and after training
TRAINING INSTRUCTIONS
Training progress
• Under no circumstances should you
overload yourself during the first training
sessions. You should train for a reduced
training time (approx. 12–15 minutes) and
at an appropriate intensity. The training
time should then be gradually increased
to 20 minutes
• During the first 10 weeks, the training
frequency should be limited to one session
per week
• In general, avoid training at too high
intensities
• You should allow at least 4 days between
training sessions, even after the first 8–10
weeks. This is the only way to guarantee
regeneration and positive adaptation

on the menu button and there you can vary them
by clicking on + or - accordingly.
The following programs are already preinstalled
in the
eaglefit®EMS SYSTEM app
:
Fitness
Please choose a setting of “4/2”, meaning
a pulse time of 4 seconds and 2 seconds
pause. Optimally you contract your muscle
for 4 seconds and relax it for 2 seconds.
This mode aims to increase the gain of white
muscle ber, which is trained with a low number
of repetitions (5-12) for each muscle group and
e. g. 80 % of its maximum strength. The impulse
frequency is set to 85 Hz without straining joints,
tendons and ligaments with high weight pressu-
re. Pulse width is at 350 µs.
There is also the possibility to combine your
training with SlingTraining, HIIT-training, our core
and beginner training on youtube.
THE PARAMETERS ALREADY HAVE STORED DEFAULT SETTINGS.
Video Training
You can use an avatar to train a preset
training and directly participate or use
the exercises as a placeholder for your
own individual training. The special
benet of this mode is, that you can set
a different frequency or pulse width for
every training.
Workout
You can use this function ideally to
participate in many workouts offered on
Youtube. The pulse duration of 30 seconds
and 15 seconds pause time is often used
in group circuit workouts.
Fat Burning
Please choose a setting of „4/2“, which means
a pulse duration of 4 seconds and a pause of
2 seconds. In this special program you combine
the advantages of the tness and metabolism
program. During the active phase you train
your maximum strength with 60 Hz and in the
passive (pause phase) you train your endurance
muscles with 7 Hz. In this way you train both
types of muscle bers in one program.
Metabolism/Cardio
Please choose a pause time of 0 seconds so
you have a continuous impulse. The pulse time
doesn´t matter in this program.
This mode trains your red endurance muscle
bers and is used for bodytoning especially.
By activating the slow-twitch muscle bers,
bodyfat can be lowered and the denition of your
muscles increases. The impulse frequency is set
to 7 Hz with a pulse width of 350 µs.
This program is ideal for warming up, improving
blood ow and metabolism. You can combine
this mode with endurance excercises such as
nordic walking, jogging, cycling, excercises on
cardio machines and our CardioTraining on
youtube:
https://www.youtube.com/user/eaglet001.
Relax
Please choose a setting of “1/1”, meaning a pul-
se time and a pause time of 1 second each. You
can keep your muscle relaxed the whole time.
This mode relaxes your muscle bers by creating
soft muscle twitches and enhances your rege-
neration process. With a frequency of 100 Hz
tenseness will be loosened up and your muscles
are supplied with nutrients.
You can use the relax mode for 5 to 10 minutes
after an intense training session (with or
without EMS) or after a stressful day for 10
to 30 minutes with a moderate intensity for
example laying on the couch.
Individual
This mode allows you to change every setting in-
dividually according to your preferences or if you
have a recommendation of your physiotherapist.
Advanced users can select every parameter
(frequency, pulse width, pulse time, pause and
training time) individually. Frequency and pulse
width range from 1-120 Hz and 50-400 µs.

After downloading the
eaglefit®EMS SYSTEM
app
on to your smartphone/tablet, please start
the app. By choosing the
eaglefit®
PRO EMS
suit you will be directed to the profile menu,
where you can select a profile or create a new
profile. If you are using the app for the first
time, please create a new profile so you can
save your settings on it later on. Once you have
selected a profile, the main screen will appear
and you can manage your training.
Next, activate the PRO EMS POWERBox by
pressing lightly on the notch in the middle. The
PRO EMS POWERBox is activated when the
LED lights up bright blue.
Connect the PRO EMS POWERBox to the suit
by following the procedure in reverse order.
PRACTICAL EXAMPLE
Make sure that you first hook the PRO EMS
POWERBox onto the panel on the suit with the
two small lugs at the top and then lock it in
place by pressing it gently downwards. The
PRO EMS POWERBox must strap onto the suit
with a very close fit. Finally, pull the velcro
tight. Make sure that the PRO EMS POWERBox
is held firmly in place.
Now establish a connection between your
mobile device and the PRO EMS POWERBox.
To do this, click on „Bluetooth“ in the top
right corner of the app main screen and then
click on „Scan“. The Bluetooth devices that
are available nearby will be displayed. Select
„eaglefit0000“ for the PRO EMS POWERBox
and click on „Connection“. You can tell when
a connection to the PRO EMS POWERBox has
been successfully established because you will
see the Bluetooth symbol on the top right of
the start page. The charging status of the PRO
EMS POWERBox will now be shown next to it
on the right, the LED of the PRO EMS POWER-
Box will be blinking.
Now go to the settings:
First choose a training mode. To do this, press
„1“, which will take you to the basic settings.
(Image 1 see left on page 12)
In the practical
example shown here, the „Fitness“ mode is
chosen by making the appropriate selection.
You can set the „Pulse time“, „Pause time“ and
„Train time“ by using „+“ / „-“. For example,
select the following parameters: „Pulse time“
4
seconds
, „Pause time“ 2
seconds
and „Train
time“ 20
minutes
Then leave the basic settings
by pressing „Confirm“.
Now that you have set up the training mode,
you can change the pulse intensity of each
muscle group on the start screen. To begin
with, all muscle groups will be set to „0“ and
displayed in green. If you have already warmed
up, click on „6“ so that the electrodes are
activated with the set intensity and you can
feel the subsequent changes. Otherwise, warm
up first. Pressing „4“ increases the values of
all muscle groups marked in green; pressing
„5“ decreases them. If the intensity of a
muscle group is sufficient for you, simply click
on the number highlighted in green next to the
muscle group, which will turn it grey. The pulse
intensity of this muscle group will now no
longer be changed by pressing the „4“ or „5“
buttons. The other muscle groups (highligh-
ted in green) will continue to be adjustably
accordingly. Continue until the intensity for all
muscles has been set. A muscle group that is
displayed in grey can be reset at any time by cli-
cking on it again, which will turn it green again.
If you want to stop the training session during
the training time, simply click on the „6“ again
and the training session will be paused. The
pulse intensity of individual or all („3“ button)
muscles can be changed during this pause or
during training. We recommend that you only
change the intensity when the impulses are
switched on, as otherwise it is possible for
an excessively high intensity to be set during
the „pause“.
Pulse width
(only individually adjustable in VIP mode)
duration of a single current pulse; 50–400 µs.
With the setting “pulse width” you can change,
how long a single pulse lasts, when arriving
according to the frequency setting. If this pa-
rameter is set very high, pulses reach deeper
into your muscle. 350 µs is the perfect setting
for training larger muscle groups such as your
legs, glutes or back.
Pulse Time
Duration of time for which your muscle is con-
tracted (symbolized by the green countdown
during a training).
Pause Time
Length of pause in seconds while training
(symbolized by the red countdown during
a training).
Train Time
Duration of your whole training session in
minutes, 1–40 minutes.
Frequency
Number of individual pulses within one
second. For example, the mode “fitness”
contracts and relaxes your muscle 85 times
per second 1–120 Hz.

THE TRAINING/EXERCISES
In general: if you feel unwell, you must stop
training immediately and consult a doctor if
necessary. Never train if you are not feeling
well or are ill.
You must also stop training if there are prob-
lems with the
eaglefit®PRO EMS
System or
if it is malfunctioning. In the case of technical
issues, contact the manufacturer.
1. Warming up
Before an EMS training session – just like befo-
re any fitness workout – your muscles should
be prepared for the upcoming load. Warming
up leads to the following effects:
• The conductivity between the electrodes
and your skin increases with slight sweating
• Core body temperature increases
• Energy supply processes in the muscle
improve
• Blood circulation is strengthened and heart
rate increases
• There is increased production of synovial
fluid
• Your motivation increases and you focus
more on the upcoming training.
We recommend warming up in the form of a
short endurance unit, e. g. approx. 10 min on
the bike ergometer, fairly fast walking (e. g.
on a treadmill), using a skipping rope, jumping
jacks, burpees or jumping on the spot. It is
important that you do not go to your limit at
this point.
2. Training/exercises
In general, you can perform all movements and
workouts with the
eaglefit®PRO EMS
System
indoor and outdoor. Let your imagination run
wild: jogging, boxing, yoga, sling training, fun-
ctional training, HIIT or training with your own
body weight. Only wetness (e. g. rain) should
be avoided with the suit.
To provide some suggestions for exercises, the
eaglefit®PRO EMS
suit comes with an exerci-
se poster, which shows exercise options for the
entire body with your own body weight.
3. Stretching
After the load session, you should stretch –
possibly in combination with the „Relax“ pro-
gramme. Stretching has the following effects:
• Decreases muscle tone
• Improves breakdown of metabolic products
• Improves muscle regeneration
• Promotes mobility – including that of the
joints, tendons and ligaments
The
eaglefit®PRO EMS
suit is available in
sizes XXS to 4XL. It is important that the right
size is chosen, so that the electrodes lie close
to your body. The suit is put on directly over
your bare skin, without underwear or other
(sports) clothing. The electrodes do not need
to be wetted; they should be placed directly on
the muscles to be stimulated. Due to the close
contact with the skin, the current is transmitted
optimally to the muscle.
In order for the electrodes of the dry suit to be
able to better transfer energy through your skin
to your nerves and muscles, an extremely thin
film of moisture is required. For some people,
it is enough to simply wear the suit for 2–3
minutes; some people have to do 5 minutes of
jumping jacks, burpees or sit-ups before the in-
PUTTING ON AND TAKING OFF
the eaglefit®PRO EMS SUIT
tensity of the impulses can be increased. If this
film of moisture is missing, you may feel an un-
comfortable, slight sting on the surface of your
skin. In this case, reduce the pulse intensity for
that muscle group and do a few jumping jacks
or squats again before increasing the intensity.
If you have a lot of body hair or your skin is
very dry, stimulation may be impaired. In that
case, you can slightly moisten the skin at these
points or use our electrode gel.
The
eaglefit®PRO EMS
suit is done up using
the zip on the back. Simply close the zip using
the attached cord and connect it to the velcro.
This stops it from opening on its own. After
you have finished training, open the zip and get
out of the
eaglefit®PRO EMS
suit. Then wash
the suit according to the washing instructions.
