Assembly Instructions – Alpha 6
Note: Because of the weight of the head end and completed assembly we
suggest that assembly of an Alpha 6 is undertaken by two people.
Position the head end of the bed approximately where it will finally sit allowing 1
metre clear spaceonone side.
With the head end sitting flat on the floor, attach the side
rails and foot end.
The siderails are attached to the headand foot end by
allen headed screws as shown. The screws arefitted to
the top and bottom holes of the bracket.
Lifting from the head end, roll the head/rail assembly on its
side.
Using the long screws supplied, attach the leg mounting blocks
into the 4 corners making sure that the blocks are fittedsquare
into the corners.

Using the shorter screws supplied, attach the head end pedestal
(black box assy) to the underside of the head end midway from
side to side and front to back.
Attach two legs into the corner blocks away from the floor and
finger tighten the nuts.
Remove the transit cleats from the underside of the head end.
Carefully roll the assembly back down. It will sit on the head end pedestaland the
two legs.
Attach the two remaining legs by lifting the end and side as needed to access the
leg mounting blocks.
Tighten all four legs into position.
Move the completed assembly into its final position.
NB. Don’t drag the frame by the foot end as this could damage the head end leg
mounts.
Fit the centre rail into position making surethe rail is pushed hard down into the
brackets.
Attach slats/shoes. If fitting Pivotech flexible slat system the slats fitted with the
curve upwards.
