breathingairwhenrefillingcylinder.

DONOTfillorusethesystemifithasbeenexposedtoextremeheatexceeding250°F,oropenflame.Instead,dischargethe

cylindercompletelyandreturnittoanAuthorizedDealerforinspectionandpossiblehydrostatictesting.

DONOTusetheregulatorfirststageasacarryhandlewhenliftingthesystemasthiscandamagetheregulator.

NEVERbreathecompletelyemptyunderwater.Waterwillenterinnerstagesoftheregulatorandmayresultininternal

corrosionandrequireservice.ALWAYSrisetothesurfacewhenthepressuregaugeshows500psi.

GENERALINFORMATION

PracticeusingEasyDiveinshallowwater.PracticeswitchingbetweentheSNORKEL&DIVEmodesontheSnorkelator.The

amountofairyouwillreceivewillvarybasedonyourlungcapacity,depth,watertemperature,exertionlevel,etc.

EasyDiveutilizesadrysnorkel,howeversomewatermaystillenterthesnorkel.TocleartheSnorkelator,tiltyourheadto

theleftandexhalesharply.Repeatoccasionallytokeepclear.

EasyDiveisshippedempty–fillpriortouse.

TheharnessdoesNOThavebuiltinbuoyancy.

Theharnesshaspocketsforoptionalweights,dependingonyoursize&weightyoumaywanttousethemtohelpyoudive

underwatereasier.DONOToverweightyourself.

CylinderandHarnessarepackedinapositionidealforshipping.Priortouse,loosencylinderstrapandlowercylinderin

Notes&Precautions:

DeluxeFilter‐Ultralargeairfiltercombinesdiscfilters,activatedcarbondeodorizationanddesiccant.Includesa

secondfiltertubealongwithreplacementparts‐10filterdiscs,4o‐rings,&5burstdiscs.Thisfilterremoves

impuritiesandresidualmoisturecreatedduringpumpingprocess.DeluxeFilterreplacement:undernormal

circumstancesreplaceafterbeingused30timesorapproximately50hours.Ifthefilterelementisdirty,maybe

replacedsooner.Approximateservicelifeis1year.

Whenreplacingentirefiltertube,thedesiccantmustbeattheendofthemaleconnector/airinlet.

BEFOREUSINGTHESNORKELATOR

1. EnsurethattheSnorkelatorissecurelyattachedtotheregulator.

2. FamiliarizeyourselfwiththeoperationoftheSnorkelator&practice

turningthedialtoeachfunctionseveraltimes:



Turnthedialto‘SNORKEL’whenbreathingoffthesnorkel(dialis

pointingtowardthesnorkel).



SiliconeGasket(blackportionholdssnorkeltoregulator)



Turnthedialto‘DIVE’tobreatheofftheregulator(dialispointingto

theregulator).



PRE‐DIVECHECK

1. SLOWLYopentheOn/OffKnobcounter‐clockwisetopressurizetheregulator.

2. Checkthattherearenoaudibleleaks.NEVERDIVEwitharegulatorthatshowsanysignsofleakagewhen

pressurized.

3. Visuallycheckminipressuregaugeforneedletobewithingreenzone.

4. PushPurgeButtondownandrelease.PurgeButtonshouldmoveupanddownfreely.Tomaintainfullpressure

donotpurgeunnecessarily.

5. AffixyourscubadivingmasktotheSnorkelatorclip.

6. Putvestonandadjustforasnugbutcomfortablefit.Addsoftweightstopockets(OPTIONAL).

7. Positionthe2ndstageregulatorovertherightshoulder.

8. TurndialonSnorkelatortoDIVEmodeandtakeafewbreathsofftheregulatortoensureeverythingisworking

correctly.



USINGEASYDIVE

1. EnsurethedialisinSNORKELmodeandplacethemouthpieceinyourmouth.

2. Afterenteringthewater,practiceswitchingthedialbetweenSNORKELandDIVEmodes.

3. Whenreadytosubmerge,turnthedialtotheDIVEmodeandensureairisflowingthroughtheregulator.

4. Breathenormallyandenjoyyourdive.DONOTholdyourbreath.

5. Whensurfacing,keepdialinDIVEpositionuntilsnorkelisabovewater.

6. Atthesurface,takeinafullbreathfromSCUBA,thenturnthedialtoSNORKELmode.

7. Exhalesharplyintothemouthpiecetoclearwaterfromsnorkel.Ifwaterremainsinthesnorkel,tiltheadtothe

left,takeadeepbreath,andexhalesharplyagain.

8. Takesmall,slow,steadybreathstomaximizethedurationofairsupply.

9. RegularlycheckyourPressureGaugeandreturntothesurfacewhenpressuregaugeshows500psi.

Note:Donotuseuntilcompletelyemptyunderwateraswaterwillfloodtheinternalcomponentsandwill

thereforerequireserviceandcleaning.



POST‐DIVE

NOTE:Rinsingshouldoccurassoonaspossibleafterdiving.

1. Removeunitfromharness.

2. Beforerinsing,checkPressureGaugeandmakesureEasyDiveisnotempty(hassomepressure)toprevent

entranceofmoistureintothesystem.Refillifnecessary.

CAUTION:Ifempty,watermayhaveenteredtheregulatorandcylinderandcouldleadtocorrosionand/or

failureofthesystem.RefertoMaintenancesection.

3. SoakthewholeEasyDiveunit(pressurized–TankValveON)foratleast30minutesinfreshwateraftereach

use.Rinsethe2ndStageandSnorkelatorthoroughlytoremovesaltwaterand/orsand.

4. TurntheSnorkelatordialseveraltimesbetweenDIVEandSNORKELmodewhilerinsinginclean,freshwater.

5. TurnOn/OffKnobonclockwiseuntilitiscompletelyclosed.

6. Gentlyshaketodislodgeanywaterandwipedrywithacleantowel.

7. StoreEasyDivefullorwithsomepositivepressuretopreventcontaminantsfromenteringthecylinder.Storein

aclean,dryenvironmentwithoptimumtemperaturesof50‐75°Fforbestproductperformance.Avoiddirect

sunlight,automobiletrunksorotherareassubjecttotemperatureextremes.

NOTE:Industryguidelinesrecommendreplacingairincylindersannually.



ROUTINECARE&MAINTENANCE

Forgeneralcleaning,useamilddishsoaporSimpleGreen/biodegradablesolution.

Forsanitizing,useacommerciallyavailableregulatorsanitizeravailablethroughadiveshop.

KeepthethreadsontheRefillPort(Combomodel)cleanandlubricated.Usehigh‐quality,non‐toxic,foodgrade

siliconegreaseforbestresults.

CAUTION:Neveruseahydrocarbonbasedoil(i.e.householdoilormotoroil).

Ifyounoticedamage,wearorsuspectanyleakingormissingparts,haveEasyDiveexaminedimmediately.

WARNING:Donotattempttorepairyourself.Unauthorizedrepairsortamperingishazardous.

EasyDiveregulatorshouldbeservicedannuallybyanAuthorizedDealerorbySubmersibleSystemstoassure

properperformance.Itcannotbeassumedthataregulatorisingoodworkingorderonthebasisthatithas

receivedlittleornouse.Prolongedorimproperstoragecanresultinprematuredeteriorationofo‐ringseals.

ThecylinderhasaDOT3AL3000ratingandwillrequirehydrostatictestingevery5years.Avisualinspectionis

recommendedannually.Thecylindershouldbeinspectedinternallyandexternallyforpitting,corrosion,dents,

cracksorotherdamage.



TROUBLESHOOTING

Everyunitistestedbeforeshipping,however,regulatorscangointofree‐flowwhenaccidentallytriggeredand

thisdoesnotmeanthereisaproductdefect.If2ndstagegoesintoafree‐flow,makesuretheSnorkelatorlever

isintheSnorkelposition.Thefree‐flowcanbestoppedbyholdingtheregulatorupsidedownsothefrontcover

facesthesurface.Ifthefree‐flowdoesn’tstop,trypressingthepurgebuttonorpressingthepalmofyourhand

overthemouthpiece.

Ifsandordebrisinterfereswiththesmoothturningofthedial,rinsetheproductmorethoroughlywhileturning

thedial.Ifsandstillpersistsinsideunscrewthetopcapandremovethedialandrinseallpartsthoroughlyuntil

clean.Placeasmallamountoffood‐gradesiliconegreasewithyourfingeraroundtheo‐ring.Placethedialback

insidetheSnorkelatorvalvewiththedialpointingatthesnorkel,thenreplacethethreadedcaptighteningall

thewaydownuntilyoufeelresistance.TurnthedialafewtimestoSNORKELandthentoDIVEmodetoensure

properfunctionality.

Ifthesiliconegasketbeginstoshowsignsofwear,contactSubmersibleSystemsforservicingorreplacement.



fromthecylinder,whichinthecaseofEasyDiveisprofessionallyattached.Therefore,itwouldtakea

professionaltoremoveandreassembleit.ForthatreasonwedonotrecommendflyingwithyourEasyDive
