1. Removeunitfromharness.
2. Beforerinsing,checkPressureGaugeandmakesureEasyDiveisnotempty(hassomepressure)toprevent
entranceofmoistureintothesystem.Refillifnecessary.
CAUTION:Ifempty,watermayhaveenteredtheregulatorandcylinderandcouldleadtocorrosionand/or
failureofthesystem.RefertoMaintenancesection.
3. SoakthewholeEasyDiveunit(pressurized–TankValveON)foratleast30minutesinfreshwateraftereach
use.Rinsethe2ndStageandSnorkelatorthoroughlytoremovesaltwaterand/orsand.
4. TurntheSnorkelatordialseveraltimesbetweenDIVEandSNORKELmodewhilerinsinginclean,freshwater.
5. TurnOn/OffKnobonclockwiseuntilitiscompletelyclosed.
6. Gentlyshaketodislodgeanywaterandwipedrywithacleantowel.
7. StoreEasyDivefullorwithsomepositivepressuretopreventcontaminantsfromenteringthecylinder.Storein
aclean,dryenvironmentwithoptimumtemperaturesof50‐75°Fforbestproductperformance.Avoiddirect
sunlight,automobiletrunksorotherareassubjecttotemperatureextremes.

ROUTINECARE&MAINTENANCE
Forgeneralcleaning,useamilddishsoaporSimpleGreen/biodegradablesolution.
Forsanitizing,useacommerciallyavailableregulatorsanitizeravailablethroughadiveshop.
KeepthethreadsontheRefillPort(Combomodel)cleanandlubricated.Usehigh‐quality,non‐toxic,foodgrade
siliconegreaseforbestresults.
CAUTION:Neveruseahydrocarbonbasedoil(i.e.householdoilormotoroil).
Ifyounoticedamage,wearorsuspectanyleakingormissingparts,haveEasyDiveexaminedimmediately.
WARNING:Donotattempttorepairyourself.Unauthorizedrepairsortamperingishazardous.
EasyDiveregulatorshouldbeservicedannuallybyanAuthorizedDealerorbySubmersibleSystemstoassure
properperformance.Itcannotbeassumedthataregulatorisingoodworkingorderonthebasisthatithas
receivedlittleornouse.Prolongedorimproperstoragecanresultinprematuredeteriorationofo‐ringseals.
ThecylinderhasaDOT3AL3000ratingandwillrequirehydrostatictestingevery5years.Avisualinspectionis
recommendedannually.Thecylindershouldbeinspectedinternallyandexternallyforpitting,corrosion,dents,
cracksorotherdamage.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Everyunitistestedbeforeshipping,however,regulatorscangointofree‐flowwhenaccidentallytriggeredand
thisdoesnotmeanthereisaproductdefect.If2ndstagegoesintoafree‐flow,makesuretheSnorkelatorlever
isintheSnorkelposition.Thefree‐flowcanbestoppedbyholdingtheregulatorupsidedownsothefrontcover
facesthesurface.Ifthefree‐flowdoesn’tstop,trypressingthepurgebuttonorpressingthepalmofyourhand
overthemouthpiece.
Ifsandordebrisinterfereswiththesmoothturningofthedial,rinsetheproductmorethoroughlywhileturning
thedial.Ifsandstillpersistsinsideunscrewthetopcapandremovethedialandrinseallpartsthoroughlyuntil
clean.Placeasmallamountoffood‐gradesiliconegreasewithyourfingeraroundtheo‐ring.Placethedialback
insidetheSnorkelatorvalvewiththedialpointingatthesnorkel,thenreplacethethreadedcaptighteningall
thewaydownuntilyoufeelresistance.TurnthedialafewtimestoSNORKELandthentoDIVEmodetoensure
properfunctionality.
Ifthesiliconegasketbeginstoshowsignsofwear,contactSubmersibleSystemsforservicingorreplacement.
