MKC Series Pendant Bracket Instructions
Original Instructions
These instructions are for dening acceptable MKC Pendant Bracket installations for suspending
and for installing an MKC Series Loudspeaker.

Failure to follow these precautions may result in damage, injury, or death.
1) Read these instructions.

5) Clean only with a dry cloth.
6) Install loudspeaker in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
7) Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other
apparatus that produce heat.
8) Only use attachments/accessories specied by the manufacturer.
9) Refer all servicing to qualied service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus
has been damaged in any way, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
10) Use personal protective equipment not limited to gloves, safety goggles, ear protection,
and lifting supports.
Suspension Warnings
WARNING: Suspending anything, especially overhead of people, should be done with extreme
caution. Always engage the services of a certied professional who is qualied to determine
the requirements for and to implement overhead rigging. Only persons with the knowledge
of proper hardware and safe rigging techniques should attempt to suspend loudspeakers
overhead. Failure to follow these precautions may result in damage, injury, or death.

3. Pass unterminated cable ends through the knockout on the input cover and wire loudspeaker (skip if no
connections).
4. Attach input cover to loudspeaker using (9) M5 x 18 screws.

2. MKC Series Pendant Bracket limits
of use
a. The MKC Series Pendant
Brackets are designed to suspend
MKC50/60 loudspeakers only. No other
EAW Product Series may be used with
this bracket.
b. The MKC Series Pendant
Bracket is designed to mount only
one loudspeaker per bracket.
c. Any geometric or structural modications to the MKC Pendant Bracket or
hardware are not EAW-approved will void the warranty and may result in damage, injury,
or death.
d. WARNING: Take care when lifting MKC Series products to avoid harm or
damage to product.

3. Installation of the MKC Series Pendant
Bracket (A) to an MKC50/60 loudspeaker
a. Remove 4x screws from back of MKC50/60.
Refer to gures 2-3 to determine which
mounting points to use based on MKC model.

b. Line up applicable pattern on the
bracket with available mounting
points on the MKC loudspeaker
(Figure 5)
c. Secure bracket in place utilizing 4x
M5x22 screw (B), 4x lock washer (C)
and 4x at washer (D) - Figure 6.

3. Suspend MKC50/60 using Pendant Bracket
a. With the loudspeaker safely on the ground or a at surface, use available hole on bracket
(Figure 8) to run cable or shackle through and carefully suspend the cabinet.
b. If a safety line is desired, one of the available mounting points on the loudspeaker may be
used.
