10. TEMPERATURE DEPENDENT OVERLOAD PROTECTION
When using as intended the power tool cannot be subject to overload. When
the load is too high or the allowable battery temperature of 75 C is exceeded,
the electronic control switches off the power tool until the temperature is in the
optimum temperature range again.
11. PROTECTION AGAINST DEEP DISCHARGING
The Li-ion battery is protected against deep discharging by the"Discharging
Protection System. When the battery is empty, the machine is switched off by
means of a protective circuit:
The inserted tool no longer start.
CHARGING & BATTERY
1. REMOVING THE BATTERY
If the Battery does not slide into the charger easily, do not force it. Instead,
slide the Battery out of the charger again, check the top of Battery and the tool
battery slot are clean and undamaged and that the contacts are not bent.
Setting up the battery charger.
1). If fitted, remove any Battery(B )from the Battery Charger(A).

WARNING! Use this charger only to charge the supplied battery or
additional purchased batteries that are specifically designed for this tool.
WARNING! The charger is designed for indoor use only, and must not be
used in damp or wet conditions.
CAUTION! Do not let brake fluids, gasoline, petroleum-based materials
touch the plastic parts. Chemicals can cause damage to the plastic, and
make the plastic unserviceable.
CAUTION! Do not use strong solvents or detergents on the plastic
housing or components.
WARNING! Remove the battery pack from the machine before
maintenance.
6. MAINTENANCE
WARNING! Keep the machine and the motor free of leaves, branches or
excessive oil to prevent fire risks.
7. CLEAN THE MACHINE
Use a moist cloth with a mild detergent to clean the machine.
Clean all moisture with a soft dry cloth.
Use a small brush to clean the air vents.
To increase the efficiency and life of the blades, lubricate them carefully after
each work session:
8. LUBRICATE THE BLADE
Put the machine on a flat and smooth surface.
Use a soft cloth to clean the blades and a brush to remove more dirt.
Use a light layer of oil to lubricate the blades along the top edge of the
blade.
Note: We recommend to use the non-pollutant type oil .
9. OVERLOAD PROTECTION
When overloaded, the motor comes to a stop.
Relieve the load on the machine immediately and allow cooling for approx. 30
seconds.

09 10
Do not store lithium-ion battery packs in a discharged state over a long
period as this can damage the lithium-ion cells.
For long-term storage, store batteries in a high charge state disconnected.
The capacity of batteries will reduce over time. After 100 charge cycles, the
batterys operation time and the maximum torque performance of the
driver will slightly reduce. This decline will continue until the battery has
minimal capacity after 250 charge cycles. This is normal and not a fault
with the battery pack.
When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like
paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects, that can
make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery
terminals together may cause burns or a fire.
Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid
contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts
eyes, additionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the battery may
cause irritation or burns.
If the tool will not be used for long periods of time, charge the battery
every 3-6 months.

The battery should be charged at ambient temperatures between 10 and
40°C. (ideally around 20°C).
After discharging the battery, please wait 10 minutes for the battery to
cool down before charging.
After charging, allow 15 minutes for the battery to cool before use.
Ensure that the charger is disconnected from the mains supply after use,
and is stored correctly.
Do not leave batteries on charge for extended periods and never store
batteries on charging.
The Battery Charger monitors battery temperature and voltage while
charging. Remove the battery once charging is complete to maximise
charge cycles of the battery and not waste power.
Batteries can become faulty over time, individual cells in the battery can
fail and the battery could short. The charger will not charge faulty
batteries. Use another battery if possible, to check correct functionality of
the charger and purchase a replacement battery if a faulty battery is

Use appliances only with specifically designated battery packs. Use of any
other battery packs may create a risk of injury and fire
Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the off-position before
connecting to battery pack, picking up or carrying the appliance. Carry the
power tool with your finger on the switch or energize power tool that have the
switch on invites accidents.
Disconnect the battery pack from the power tool before making any
adjustments, changing accessories, or storing the power tool. Such preventive
safety measures reduce the risk of starting the power tool accidentally.
When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects like
paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects that can
make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery
terminals together may cause burns or a fire.
Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery: avoid
contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes,
additionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause
irritation or burns.

other objects that may obscure your view of a child who may run into the path
of the machine.
RECYCLE
WARNING! Discard all toxic materials in a specified manner to prevent
contamination of the environment. Before discarding, damaged or worn
out Li-ion batter contact your local waste disposal agency, or the local
Environmental Protection Agency for information and specific
instructions. Take the batteries to a local recycling an/or disposal center,
certified for lithiumion disposal.
The toxic and corrosive materials below are in the batteries used in this
machine: Lithium-lon, a toxic material.
Tragic accidents can occur if the operator is not aware of the presence of
children.
WARNING! If the battery pack cracks or breaks, with or without leaks, do
not recharge it and do not use. Discard it and replace with a new battery
pack. DO NOT TRY TO REPAIR IT! To prevent injury and risk of fire, explo-
sion, or electric shock, and to avoid damage to the environment:
Cover the terminals of the battery with heavy-duty adhesive tape.
Separate collection. You must not scar with usual household waste. If it
is necessary to replace the machine, or it is no more use to you, do not
discard it with household waste. Make this machine available for
separate collection.
Separate collection of used machine and packaging let you recycle
materials and use them again. Use of the recycled materials helps
prevent environmental pollution and decreases the requirements for
raw materials.
At the end of their useful life discard batteries with a precaution for our
environment. The battery contains materials that is dangerous to you
and the environment. You must remove and discard these materials
separately at a equipment that accepts lithium-ion batteries.
HEDGE TRIMMER SAFETY WARNINGS

cause loss of control and result in serious personal injury.
Keep all parts of the body away from the cutter blade. Do not remove cut
material or hold material to be cut when blades are moving Blades coast after
turn off. Make sure the switch is off when clearing jammed material. A
moment of inattention while operating the hedge trimmer may result in
serious personal injury.
Carry the hedge trimmer by the handle with the cutter blade stopped When
transporting or storing the hedge trimmer always fit the cutting device cover.
Proper handling of the hedge trimmer will reduce possible personal injury
from the cutter blades.
Hold the power tool by insulated gripping surfaces only, because the cutter
blade may contact hidden wiring. Cutter blades contacting a “live” we may
make exposed metal parts of the power tool"live"an could give the operator
an electric shock.
DANGER-KEEP hands away from blade. Contact with blade will result in
serious personal injury.
Keep cable away from cutting area. During operation the cable may be hidden
