WICHTIGE SICHERHEITSVORSCHRIFTEN
Lesen Sie aufmerksam die Gebrauchsanleitung, bevor Sie Ihr Gerät benutzen.
Wichtig: Dieses Produkt kann von Kindern ab Jahren sowie
von Personen mit reduzierten physischen, sensorischen oder

Gebrauchsanleitung immer mit dazu.
Kontrollieren Sie, ob die Netzspannung mit der auf dem Gerät vermerkten
Spannung übereinstimmt, bevor Sie das Gerät benutzen.
Lassen Sie Ihr Gerät niemals beim Gebrauch unbeaufsichtigt.
Überprüfen Sie regelmäßig, dass Anschlussleitung und Stecker nicht
beschädigt sind. Bei Beschädigung der Anschlussleitung, des Steckers oder
des Gerätes inkl. Sockel letzteres nicht benutzen. Wenden Sie sich für
Reparaturen an einen Fachmann

Achten Sie darauf, dass die Anschlussleitung nicht mit den heißen Teilen des Gerätes in
Kontakt kommt.
Benutzen Sie das Gerät nur zu Haushaltszwecken, wie in der Bedienungsanleitung
angegeben.
Tauchen Sie das Gerät niemals in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten ein, weder zum
Reinigen, noch zu einem anderen Zweck. Stellen Sie das Gerät niemals in die
Spülmaschine.
Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe einer Wärmequelle.
Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht im Freien und bewahren Sie es an einem trockenen Platz auf.
Benutzen Sie nur Zubehör, welches vom Lieferanten empfohlen wurde. Anderes Zubehör
stellt eine Gefahr für den Benutzer dar und das Gerät könnte dadurch beschädigt
werden.
Ziehen Sie niemals an der Anschlussleitung, um das Gerät zu bewegen. Achten Sie darauf,
dass die Anschlussleitung nicht irgendwo hängen bleibt und dies zum Fall des Gerätes
führen könnte. Wickeln Sie die Anschlussleitung nicht um das Gerät herum und knicken Sie
diese nicht.
Stellen Sie das Gerät bzw. den Sockel auf eine stabile, ebene Fläche.



Entfernen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose, bevor Sie das Gerät reinigen. Lassen Sie den
Wasserkocher abkühlen, bevor Sie ihn erneut füllen, reinigen oder wegräumen.
Entfernen Sie immer den Stecker aus der Steckdose, wenn Sie das Gerät nicht benutzen.
Achten Sie darauf, dass die heißen Teile während des Betriebes nicht mit leicht
entflammbarem Material, wie Gardinen, Tischdecken, usw. in Berührung kommen. Gerät
nicht auf heiße Oberflächen oder in der Nähe von offenen Gasflammen abstellen –
Gefahr der Gehäuseanschmelzung.
Benutzen Sie nur kaltes oder lauwarmes (Trink-)Wasser. Benutzen Sie kein Wasser aus
Badewannen, Waschbecken oder anderen Behältern.
Achten Sie darauf, dass der Wasserkocher zwischen der Maximum- und Minimum-
markierung gefüllt wird. Überprüfen Sie immer, ob der Wasserstand nicht unter die
Minimummarkierung gelangt, da dies zu Beschädigungen des Heizelementes führen
könnte.
Während des Erhitzungsvorganges des Wassers sollte der Deckel sachgemäß geschlossen
sein.
Berühren Sie nicht die heißen Teile, sondern benutzen Sie den Griff.
Achtung! Wenn Sie zuviel Wasser einfüllen, kann der Wasserkocher überkochen und
kochendes Wasser herausspritzen.
Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie sich nicht verbrennen, da beim Kochvorgang heißer Dampf
entweichen kann.
Lassen Sie den Wasserkocher abkühlen, bevor Sie ihn erneut füllen oder reinigen.
Benutzen Sie zum Entkalken ausschließlich hierfür vorgesehene Produkte. Benutzen Sie
niemals Ammoniak oder andere Produkte, die Ihrer Gesundheit schaden könnten.
Ihr Gerät darf niemals über eine externe Zeitschaltuhr oder irgendein anderes, separates
Fernbedienungssystem eingeschaltet werden.

Fachmann: Anerkannter Kundendienst des Lieferanten oder des Importeurs, der für derartige
Reparaturen zuständig ist. Wenden Sie sich für eventuelle Reparaturen an diesen
Kundendienst.
Verbrennungsgefahr! Die heißen Oberflächen des Produktes nicht berühren.
Während des Betriebes besteht aufsteigende Hitze über dem Produkt.
Achtung! Heiße Oberfläche!
Zugängliche Oberflächen (äußeres Gehäuse) können während des Betriebes
heiß werden. Berühren Sie diese Teile nicht während des Gebrauchs
oder bevor das Gerat völlig erkaltet ist, sondern betätigen Sie nur die Griffe
oder Schalter.
ANWENDUNGS EREICH/TÄTIGKEITS EREICH
•Verwenden Sie dieses Gerät nur wie in der Bedienungsanleitung beschrieben. Jeglicher
andere Gebrauch kann zu Schäden am Gerät oder Verletzungen führen.
•Dieses Gerät ist nicht für kommerziellen Gebrauch geeignet. Es ist nur für die Nutzung im
Haushalt und ähnlichen Anwendungen konzipiert, wie beispielsweise:
-in Küchen für Mitarbeiter in Läden, Büros und anderen gewerblichen Bereichen;
-von Kunden in Hotels, Motels und anderen Wohneinrichtungen;
-in Frühstückspensionen;
-in landwirtschaftlichen Anwesen.



ERSTE IN ETRIE NAHME
Vor der ersten Benutzung oder nach dem Entkalken des Wasserbehälters (6) reinigen Sie das
Gerät wie unter Reinigung und Pflege beschrieben. Füllen Sie ein- oder zweimal die maximale
Wassermenge in den Wasserbehälter (6) und kochen Sie das Wasser ab, ohne es
weiterzuverwenden. Anschließend spülen Sie den Wasserbehälter (6) kalt aus. Außen wischen
Sie das Gehäuse mit einem feuchten Tuch ab. Teekanne (3), Teesieb (2) und Dampfeinsatz (4)
sollten in warmem Wasser und leichtem Reinigungsmittel abgewaschen und danach mit
frischem Wasser abgespült werden. So entfernen Sie eventuell noch vorhandene Produktions-
oder Transportrückstände.
IN ETRIE NAHME
Vorbereitung und Wasser aufkochen
• Stellen Sie den Samowar auf eine saubere, trockene und ebene Fläche. Stecken Sie den
Netzstecker des Samowars in eine Steckdose.
• Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Hebel des Auslaufhahnes (7) nach rechts gedreht und der Aus-
laufhahn somit geschlossen ist.
• Nehmen Sie den Deckel (10) und den Dampfeinsatz (4) vom Wasserbehälter (6) und
befüllen Sie ihn mit kaltem Wasser. Achten Sie dabei auf die Füllstandsmarkierung im
Inneren des Wasserbehälters (6); der Wasserstand sollte diese Markierung nicht
überschreiten.
• Schließen Sie den Wasserbehälter (6) mit Dampfeinsatz (4) und Deckel (10) und
vergewissern Sie sich, dass er richtig geschlossen ist.
• Schalten Sie das Gerät ein, indem Sie den Ein-/Aus- Schalter „Warmhaltung“ (12) auf die
Position I kippen. Die Kontrollleuchte „Warmhaltung“ leuchtet blau. Anschließend schalten
Sie den Wasserbehälter (6) ein, indem Sie den Ein/Aus-Schalter „Kochen“ nach unten
drücken, die rote Kontrollleuchte „Kochen“ (8) leuchtet und das Wasser wird erhitzt.
Tee zubereiten
• Während das Wasser aufkocht, können Sie den losen Tee in das Teesieb (2) füllen –
Angaben zu Menge und Ziehdauer finden Sie auf der Teeverpackung.
• Setzen Sie das Teesieb (2) in die Teekanne (3) ein. Alternativ können Sie auch Teebeutel
verwenden, die Sie (ohne Teesieb) in die Teekanne (3) hängen.
• Der Wasserbehälter (6) schaltet sich automatisch ab und die rote Kontrollleuchte
„Kochen“ (8) erlischt sobald das Wasser kocht. Der Samowar hält das Wasser weiter heiß.
Sie können aber auch den Wasserbehälter (6) jederzeit ausschalten, indem Sie den
Ein-/Aus-Schalter „Kochen“ (11) nach oben drücken. Der Samowar hält auch in diesem
Fall das Wasser weiterhin heiß.
• Sie können nun die Teekanne (3) mit heißem Wasser aus dem Wasserbehälter (6)
füllen und den Tee aufbrühen. Halten Sie hierzu die Teekanne (3) unter den Auslaufhahn
(7), drehen den Hebel des Auslaufhahnes (7) nach links, sodass das Wasser in die
Teekanne (3) fließen kann. Ist genug Wasser in der Teekanne (3), schließen Sie den
Auslaufhahn (7) wieder durch Drehen des Hebels des Auslaufhahnes (7) nach rechts.
Achtung Verbrennungsgefahr!
• Setzen Sie den Deckel (1) auf die Teekanne (3), damit der Tee nicht zu schnell abkühlt.
• Nach Ende der Ziehdauer des Tees nehmen Sie den Deckel (1) ab, entnehmen das
Teesieb (2) aus der Teekanne (3) und setzen anschließend den Deckel (1) wieder auf die
Teekanne (3) auf.



• m den Tee in der Teekanne (3) warmzuhalten, können Sie diese auf den Wasserbehälter
(6) aufsetzen. Nehmen Sie dazu den Deckel (10) des Wasserbehälters (6) ab und
platzieren Sie die Teekanne (3) auf dem Dampfeinsatz (4).
HINWEIS: Für ein starkes Schwarzteekonzentrat, das Sie im Teeglas je nach Geschmack mit
Wasser verdünnen, rechnen Sie mit ca. 20 Teelöffeln Schwarztee pro 1 Liter Wasser (mit dem
der Tee aufgebrüht wird).
Je nach Stärke Ihres Teekonzentrats können Sie den Tee „pur“ in ein Teeglas geben und
genießen oder Sie geben ein wenig Teekonzentrat in ein Teeglas und füllen dieses dann mit
heißem Wasser aus dem Wasserbehälter (6) je nach Geschmack auf.
Wasser erneut aufkochen und Tee-Zeremonie beenden
• Wenn Sie das Wasser im Wasserbehälter (6) nochmals aufkochen möchten oder
frisches Wasser hinzugegeben haben, das noch aufgekocht werden soll, schalten Sie
einfach den Wasserbehälter (6) nochmals ein, indem Sie den Ein/Aus-Schalter „Kochen“
nach unten drücken, die rote Kontrollleuchte „Kochen“ (8) leuchtet und das Wasser wird
wieder erhitzt.
• Wenn das Wasser kocht, schaltet sich der Wasserbehälter (6) automatisch wieder ab und
die rote Kontrollleuchte „Kochen“ (8) erlischt. Der Samowar hält das Wasser weiter heiß.
HINWEIS: Lassen Sie den Wasserbehälter zwischen den einzelnen Kochvorgängen immer für ca.
5 Minuten abkühlen.
• Nach dem Ende Ihrer Tee-Zeremonie oder wenn Sie kein weiteres Wasser mehr aufkochen
oder warmhalten möchten, schalten Sie den Samowar aus, indem Sie den Ein/Aus-
Schalter „Warmhaltung“ (12) auf die Position 0 stellen, die blaue Kontrollleuchte (9)
erlischt.
• Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose und lassen Sie das Gerät vollständig
abkühlen.
Ü ERHITZUNGSSCHUTZ
• Der Samowar ist mit einem Trockengehschutz ausgestattet, der das Gerät abschaltet,
wenn es versehentlich ohne Wasser eingeschaltet wurde.
• Falls dies vorkommt, schalten Sie das Gerät aus. Warten Sie ca. 10 Minuten und gießen Sie
kaltes Wasser in den Wasserbehälter (6). Dies reicht, um den Trockengehschutz
auszuschalten. Der Samowar wird danach wieder normal funktionieren.
• Sollte das Problem weiterhin bestehen bleiben, wenden Sie sich an den nächsten
Kundendienst.
REINIGUNG UND PFLEGE
• Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Gerät vor der Reinigung immer ausgeschaltet ist: sowohl der
Ein/Aus-Schalter „Kochen“ als auch der Ein/Aus-Schalter „Warmhaltung“.
• Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose und lassen Sie das Gerät abkühlen.
• Verwenden Sie ein feuchtes Tuch zum Reinigen. Ablagerungen an den Innenwänden
können mit einer weichen Bürste entfernt werden.
• Verwenden Sie niemals scharfe oder scheuernde Reinigungsmittel.
• Tauchen Sie den Wasserbehälter niemals in Flüssigkeiten ein und reinigen Sie ihn nicht
unter fließendem Wasser.
• Bewahren Sie das Gerät an einem sauberen und trockenen Platz auf.



ENTKALKEN
Das Gerät sollte erst dann entkalkt werden, wenn Kalkansatz im Wasserbehälter sichtbar wird.
Verwenden Sie zum Entkalken ein handelsübliches Entkalkungsmittel oder besser, aus Gründen
des mweltschutzes, Essig- oder Zitronensäure.
eachten Sie beim Entkalken:
• Füllen Sie zuerst Wasser in den Wasserbehälter, dann das Entkalkungsmittel.
• Dosieren Sie die Entkalkungsmittel nicht zu stark! Beachten Sie die Gebrauchsanweisung
der Entkalkungsmittel.
• Verwenden Sie bei der Entkalkung mit Essig-Essenz max. 2-3ml.
• Vorsicht, beim Aufkochen kann die Mischung schäumen!
• Spülen Sie den Behälter nach der Entkalkung mit klarem Wasser aus.
UMWELTSCHUTZ – RICHTLINIE 2012/19/EG
Zum Schutz unserer mwelt und unserer Gesundheit sind Elektro- und Elektronik-Altgeräte nach
bestimmten Regeln zu entsorgen. Dies fordert den Einsatz sowohl des Herstellers bzw.
Lieferanten als auch des Verbrauchers.
Aus diesem Grund darf dieses Gerät, welche das Symbol auf dem Typenschild bzw. auf
der Verpackung zeigt, nicht in den unsortierten Restmüll gegeben werden. Der Verbraucher
hat das Recht, dieses Gerät kostenfrei über kommunale Sammelstellen zu entsorgen; von dort
aus wird die spezifische Behandlung, Verwertung bzw. das Recycling gem. den Erfordernissen
der Richtlinie sichergestellt.
GEWÄHRLEISTUNGS- UND GARANTIE EDINGUNGEN
Für unsere Produkte gelten die gesetzlichen Bestimmungen für Gewährleistungsansprüche.
Innerhalb dieser Zeit werden Mängel, welche auf Material- oder Herstellungsfehlern beruhen,
behoben. Davon ausgeschlossen sind Beschädigungen an zerbrechlichen Teilen, Schäden, die
durch übermäßige Beanspruchung, unsachgemäße Behandlung und Wartung sowie durch
Nichtbeachtung der Gebrauchsanweisung entstehen, Schäden, welche durch Verschleiß oder
infolge normaler Abnützung entstanden sind. Ebenso weisen wir darauf hin, dass die
Gewährleistung bei Fremdeingriff erlischt. Hierbei wird der Verkäufer im Fall eines Schadens
keine Haftung übernehmen.
Sollten Sie einen Mangel feststellen, geben Sie bitte das vollständige Gerät an ihren Händler
bzw. Verkaufsstelle. Gewährleistungsansprüche gelten nur in Verbindung mit dem zugehörigen
Kassenbon bzw. der Kopie einer eventuellen Reparaturrechnung, die bei Inanspruchnahme
der Serviceleistung unbedingt mit vorzulegen sind/ist.
Sie haben auch die Möglichkeit, das gesäuberte Gerät mit einer kurzen, gut lesbaren
Fehlerbeschreibung zusammen mit dem Kassenbon in einer frankierten Sendung an unseren
Kundendienst in unserer Firma in Bad Blankenburg zu senden.
Defekte Zubehörteile führen nicht zum mtausch des Gerätes, sondern werden kostenlos im
Austausch zugesandt. In diesem Fall bitte nicht das Gerät einschicken, sondern nur das defekte
Zubehörteil bestellen! Glasbruchschäden sind grundsätzlich kostenpflichtig.



Sowohl Defekte an Verbrauchszubehör bzw. Verschleißteilen, als auch Reinigung, Wartung
oder der Austausch von Verschleißteilen, fallen nicht unter die Gewährleistung und sind
deshalb kostenpflichtig!
NACH A LAUF DER GESETZLICHEN GEWÄHRLEISTUNGSFRIST
Reparaturen können kostenpflichtig von entsprechendem Fachpersonal oder Reparaturservice
ausgeführt werden.

From time to time check the cord and plug for damages. Never use the

When using, make sure the lid is closed correctly. Never raise the lid when the jug kettle is in
use and when there are risks of hot water projection due to the bubbling.
Do not touch the hot parts of the appliance. Always use the handle.
In case you have overfilled, the appliance might overboil and boiling water might spout
out of the appliance.
Be careful not to get burned by the hot steam that evaporates when the water is boiling
and especially when you open the lid.
When descaling, use a product specifically made for that purpose that you find in the
shops. Do not use ammonia or any other substance that could damage your health.
Your appliance must never be switched on through an external timer or any kind of
separate remote control system.

EFORE THE FIRST OPERATION
Clean the appliance before the first use and after every decalcification of the body (6),
following the instructions from section "Cleaning and Maintenance". Boil the maximum
capacity of water in the body (6) once or twice and do not use the water. Afterwards, rinse
the body (6) with cold water. The exterior should only be cleaned with a damp cloth. se
warm water and little detergent to clean the tea pot (3), tea strainer (2), and steam cover (4).
Afterwards, rinse the parts in fresh water. The procedures make sure to remove any possibly
remaining residuals from production or transportation.



OPERATION
Preparation and oiling Water
• Place the appliance on a firm, dry, and flat surface. Connect the plug with a socket.
• Make sure the faucet (7) is closed by pulling the lever to the right.
• Remove lid (10) and steam cover (4) and fill the body (6) with fresh water. Take care of
the water level indicator inside the body (6); the water level should never rise above the
marking.
• Place steam cover (4) and lid (10) back on top of the body (6) and make sure everything
is tightly closed.
• Turn the Keep Warm Switch (12) to position I to turn on the appliance. Push down the
Boiling Switch (11) to start the boiling. The red indicator light for boiling (8) lights up and the
water is being heated up.
rewing Tea
• During the boiling you can fill tea leaves into the tea-strainer (2). For further information
about quantity and steeping length look for instructions at your tea.
• Place the tea-strainer (2) inside the teapot (3). You could also use tea bags, hanging them
into the teapot (3) without using the strainer (2).
• As soon as the water is boiling, the body (6) will shut off automatically and the red cooking
indicator light (8) will extinguish. The samovar will keep the water hot. You can also turn off
the body (8) any time you want by pushing the ON/OFF boiling switch (11) upwards. The
samovar will keep the water hot, too.
• You can fill the tea pot (3) with hot water from the body (6) and brew your tea. Place the
tea pot (3) beneath the faucet (7), and turn the faucet lever (7) to the left to let the water
flow into the tea pot (3). When the desired amount of water is inside the tea pot (3) close
the faucet (7) by turning the faucet lever (7) back to the right.
Attention! Risk of scalding!
• Place the teapot lid (1) on the teapot (3) to stop the tea from cooling down too soon.
• Open the teapot lid (1) after the steeping, remove the tea-strainer (2), and close the
teapot lid (1) again.
• To keep the tea warm inside the pot (3) you can place the tea pot (3) on top of the body
(6). Remove the lid (10) of the body (6) and place the tea pot (3) on the steam cover (4).
Note: To achieve a strong black tea concentrate, suitable for thinning in the glass according to
flavour, count appr. 20 teaspoons of black tea per one litre water (used for brewing).
Depending on how strong your tea concentrate is, you can either enjoy your tea “pure” or
add some hot water from the body (6) after pouring the concentrate into your cup,
depending on your taste.
Intermittent oiling and Finishing the Tea Ceremony
• For boiling the water inside the body (6) again or boiling newly added water simply switch
the body (6) back on by pushing down the Boiling Switch. The red boiling indicator light (8)
lights up and the water will be heated.
• As soon as the water is boiling, the body (6) will turn off automatically and the red boiling
indicator light (8) extinguishes. The samovar will keep the water warm.
Note: Let the body cool down for appr. 5 minutes between boiling.



• When you do not want to boil or keep warm the water anymore after the end of the tea
ceremony, simply turn off the samovar by switching the Keep Warm Switch (12) to position
0. The blue indicator light (9) extinguishes.
• Pull the plug and let the appliance cool down.
SAFETY CUT-OUT
• The samovar has a dry-out protection – the appliance will automatically turn off when it
has been turned on without water.
• Turn off the appliance afterwards and wait appr. 10 minutes. Pour cold water into the
body (6) to stop the dry-out protection. The samovar can be used again.
• In case of any problems, please contact the customer service.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Before you start cleaning the appliance, make sure it has been turned off: the Boiling and
Keep Warm Switch should be on the off-position.
• Pull the plug and let the appliance cool down.
• se a damp cloth for cleaning. Residues can be removed with a soft brush.
• Do not use acrid or abrasive detergents.
• Do not immerse the body in water and do not clean under running water.
• Store the appliance at a clean and dry place.
DESCALING
When scale becomes visible in the jug, you have to descale it. To remove scale from the jug
kettle, use products made especially available for this purpose, liquid descaling products or for
the sake of environmental protection you can use vinegar.
When descaling, please pay attention to the following points:
•First pour some water in the appliance, and add the descaling product afterwards.
•Make sure to dilute the product sufficiently. Please follow the instruction manual of the
descaling product.
•When using vinegar, do not use more than 2-3 ml.
•Caution, the mixture might froth during heating.
•After descaling, rinse the appliance twice with fresh water.

In order to preserve our environment and protect human health, the waste electrical and
electronic equipment should be disposed of in accordance with specific rules with the

For our products, the legal terms concerning claims under guarantee are valid. During the
legal period, all material and manufacturing defects are covered. No claims will be accepted
for broken accessories, defects resulting from inappropriate use or care, excessive wear due to

Débranchez votre appareil lorsqu’il n’est pas en utilisation.
Veillez à ce que les parties chaudes de l’appareil ne rentrent pas en contact avec des
matériaux facilement inflammables comme les rideaux, la nappe,... lorsqu’il est en
fonctionnement car le feu pourrait se déclarer. Ne placez pas l’appareil à proximité de
surfaces chaudes ou près d’un feu ouvert car le revêtement pourrait fondre.
Veillez à n’utiliser que de l’eau fraîche (potable) et froide (tempérée). Ne pas utiliser l’eau
contenue dans des baignoires, lavabos ou autres récipients.
Lors du remplissage, veillez à vous situer entre les repères de graduation MIN et MAX.
Vérifiez toujours que l’eau n’est pas en dessous du niveau MIN afin d’éviter une
détérioration de l’élément chauffant et ne dépassez jamais le niveau MAX car si votre
bouilloire est trop remplie, de l’eau bouillante peut être éjectée.
Veillez à ce que pendant le fonctionnement, le couvercle soit correctement fermé. Ne
soulevez le couvercle que lorsque la bouilloire s’est arrêtée et qu’il n’y a plus de risque de
projection d’eau due au bouillonnement.
Ne pas toucher les surfaces chaudes de l’appareil, faites usage de la poignée de
l’appareil.
Attention de ne pas vous brûler avec la vapeur qui s’échappe lors de l’ébullition et
spécialement lors de l’ouverture du couvercle.
Lors du détartrage, utilisez un produit spécialement prévu à cet effet que vous trouverez
dans le commerce. Ne faites pas usage d’ammoniac ou de toute autre substance qui
pourrait nuire à votre santé.

ou deux fois la capacité maximale d’eau dans le corps de l’appareil (6) et n’utilisez pas l’eau
mais jetez-la. Puis rincez le corps de l’appareil (6) à l’eau fraîche. Nettoyez l’extérieur
uniquement à l’aide d’un chiffon humide. tilisez de l’eau chaude et un peu de détergent
pour nettoyer le pot de thé (3), la passoire à thé (2) et le couvercle vapeur (4). Alors rincez ces
parties à l’eau fraîche. Comme ça, vous éliminez tous les résidus possibles qui restent de la
production ou du transport.
UTILISATION
Préparation et faire bouillir de l’eau
• Placez l’appareil sur une surface stable, sèche et plate. Insérez la fiche dans une prise de
courant.
• Assurez-vous que le robinet de vidange (7) est fermé en tirant le levier vers la droite.
• Enlevez le couvercle (10) et le couvercle vapeur (4) et remplissez le corps de l’appareil (6)
d’eau fraîche. Faites attention à l’indication du niveau d’eau dans le corps de l’appareil
(6); n’excédez jamais le niveau maximal indiqué.
• Mettez le couvercle vapeur (4) et le couvercle (10) de nouveau sur le corps de l’appareil
(6) et assurez-vous que tout est bien fermé.
• Mettez l’interrupteur de la fonction maintien au chaud (12) sur la position I afin d’allumer
l’appareil. Poussez l’interrupteur de l’ébullition (11) vers le bas afin de commencer
l’ébullition. Le témoin lumineux rouge de l’ébullition (8) s’allumera et l’eau sera chauffée.
Faire du thé
• Pendant l’ébullition vous pouvez mettre des feuilles de thé dans la passoire à thé (2). Pour
plus d’information sur la quantité et le temps d’infusion veuillez vous référer à l’emballage
du thé.
• Mettez la passoire à thé (2) dans le pot de thé (3). Vous pouvez aussi utiliser des sachets
de thé, en les mettant dans le pot de thé (3) sans utiliser la passoire (2).
• Dès que l’eau bout, le corps de l’appareil (6) s’éteindra automatiquement et le témoin
lumineux rouge de l’ébullition (8) s’éteindra aussi. Le samovar tiendra l’eau à chaud. Vous
pouvez aussi éteindre le corps de l’appareil (6) à tout moment en mettant l’interrupteur
marche/arrêt de l’ébullition (11) vers le haut. Le samovar maintiendra l’eau à chaud aussi.
• Vous pouvez remplir le pot de thé (3) avec de l’eau chaude venant du corps de
l’appareil (6) pour faire du thé. Placez le pot de thé (3) sous le robinet (7) et tournez le
levier du robinet (7) vers la gauche pour faire couler l’eau dans le pot de thé (3). Quand
la quantité d’eau désirée est dans le pot de thé (3), fermez le robinet (7) en tournant le
levier du robinet (7) de nouveau vers la droite.
Attention! Risque de brûlures!
• Mettez le couvercle du pot de thé (1) sur le pot de thé (3) afin d’éviter que le thé
refroidisse trop vite.
• Ouvrez le couvercle du pot de thé (1) après l’infusion, enlevez la passoire à thé (2) et
refermez le couvercle du pot de thé (1).
• Afin de tenir le thé à chaud dans le pot (3) vous pouvez mettre le pot de thé (3) sur le
corps de l’appareil (6). Enlevez le couvercle (10) du corps de l’appareil (6) et positionnez
le pot de thé (3) sur le couvercle vapeur (4).
Remarque: Pour acquérir un concentré fort de thé noir, approprié pour être dilué dans un verre
de thé selon votre goût, prenez environ 20 cuillères à café de thé noir par litre d’eau (utilisée
pour faire du thé).



Selon la fortitude de votre concentré de thé, vous pouvez boire votre thé “pur” ou ajouter un
peu d’eau chaude du corps de l’appareil (6) selon votre goût après avoir versé le concentré
dans votre tasse.
Faire bouillir de l’eau par intervalles et finir de faire du thé
• Pour faire bouillir l’eau dans le corps de l’appareil (6) une deuxième fois ou pour faire
bouillir de l’eau que vous avez ajoutée, il suffit de mettre le corps de l’appareil (6) de
nouveau en marche en appuyant sur l’interrupteur de l’ébullition. Le témoin lumineux
rouge de l’ébullition (8) s’allumera et l’eau sera chauffée.
• Dès que l’eau bout, le corps de l’appareil (6) s’éteindra automatiquement et le témoin
lumineux rouge de l’ébullition (8) s’éteindra aussi. Le samovar maintiendra l’eau à chaud.
Remarque: Laissez refroidir le corps de l’appareil pendant environ 5 minutes entre deux
opérations.
• Quand vous ne voulez plus faire bouillir de l’eau ou tenir de l’eau à chaud, éteignez le
samovar en mettant l’interrupteur de la fonction maintien au chaud (12) en position 0. Le
témoin lumineux bleu (9) s’éteindra.
• Débranchez la fiche de la prise de courant et laissez refroidir l’appareil.
FONCTIONNEMENT A VIDE
• Le samovar est équipé d’un système de protection contre la surchauffe qui arrête
l’appareil automatiquement si celui-ci est mis en fonctionnement à vide,
accidentellement.
• Si cela arrive, débranchez l’appareil. Attendez 10 minutes avant de remplir le corps de
l’appareil (6) d’eau froide. Le samovar peut alors être utilisé de nouveau.
• Si le problème persiste, veuillez contacter le service après-vente le plus proche.
NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN
• Avant de nettoyer l’appareil, assurez-vous qu’il est éteint: les interrupteurs de l’ébullition et
de la fonction maintien au chaud doivent être dans la position éteinte.
• Débranchez la fiche de la prise de courant et laissez refroidir l’appareil.
• Nettoyer les parties plastiques de l’appareil à l’aide d’un chiffon doux. tiliser une brosse
douce pour enlever les dépôts de calcaire sur les parois intérieures.
• Ne jamais utiliser de produits abrasifs.
• Ne jamais plonger le corps de l’appareil dans l’eau ou dans tout autre liquide.
• Rangez l’appareil dans un endroit propre et sec.
DETARTRAGE
Dès que vous constatez un dépôt de calcaire dans la bouilloire, il est nécessaire de la

•Assurez-vous que le produit est suffisamment dilué. Lisez le mode d'emploi du produit.

•Attention, lorsque la bouilloire chauffe, le mélange pourrait mousser!

Afin de préserver notre environnement et notre santé, l’élimination en fin de vie des appareils
électriques et électroniques doit se faire selon des règles bien précises et nécessite
l’implication de chacun, qu’il soit fournisseur ou utilisateur. C’est pour cette raison que votre
appareil, tel que le signale le symbole apposé sur sa plaque signalétique ou sur
l'emballage, ne doit en aucun cas être jeté dans une poubelle publique ou privée destinée
aux ordures ménagères. L'utilisateur a le droit de déposer l'appareil gratuitement dans des lieux
publics de collecte procédant à un tri sélectif des déchets pour être soit recyclé, soit réutilisé
pour d’autres applications conformément à la directive.
CONDITIONS DE GARANTIE
Pour nos produits, les conditions légales concernant les réclamations dans le cadre de la
période de garantie sont d’application.
Pendant la période légale, les vices de fabrication et de matériaux sont couverts. Ne sont pas
couverts par la garantie: les bris de pièces ou d’accessoires, les défauts liés à un usage ou
entretien détourné de l’appareil, à des usures excessives résultant d’usages intensifs et à tout
autre usage contraire aux instructions fournies. La garantie devient caduque lorsque le produit
a été modifié ou des tentatives de réparation ont visiblement été faites. Ces manipulations
dégagent dans le même temps la responsabilité du vendeur en cas d’accidents.
Si vous constatez un défaut, adressez-vous à votre revendeur ou au magasin et retournez
l'appareil complet dans son emballage d'origine ainsi que le ticket de caisse. Les réclamations
introduites dans le cadre de la garantie sont uniquement valables si le ticket de caisse ou la
copie d’une facture de réparation éventuelle est joint(e).
Ou envoyez l'appareil nettoyé, bien emballé et dûment affranchi avec une courte description
du défaut en majuscules à notre service après-vente dans notre firme à Bad Blankenburg en
joignant également votre ticket de caisse.
Si des accessoires sont défectueux, l'appareil complet ne sera pas remplacé, mais les
accessoires seront échangés gratuitement. Dans ce cas, ne renvoyez donc pas l'appareil
complet mais commandez seulement l'accessoire défectueux! En cas de verre cassé, le
remplacement de l'accessoire concerné est payant. L'échange des accessoires soumis à
l'usure ainsi que le nettoyage et l'entretien ou l'échange de pièces usées ne sont pas couverts
par la garantie et l'échange de ces pièces sera donc payant!
APRES LA PERIODE LEGALE DE GARANTIE
Les réparations après la période de garantie peuvent être effectuées par un service qualifié
compétent ou par un service de réparation moyennant payement.

Nous, Efbe Elektrogeräte GmbH, confirmons par la présente que notre produit correspond aux
exigences de la directive 1275/2008/CE. Notre produit n’est pas équipé d’un mode veille, car
la bouilloire s’éteint complètement immédiatement après avoir fini de bouillir l’eau et par
conséquent ne consomme pas d’énergie électrique!



ELANGRIJKE VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN
Lees de gebruiksaanwijzing aandachtig alvorens u uw toestel gebruikt.
Belangrijk: Het toestel mag worden gebruikt door kinderen van
meer dan jaar oud en door personen met beperkte fysieke,
sensoriële of mentale capaciteiten of met een gebrek aan
ervaring of kennis als ze onder toezicht staan of vooraf
instructies hebben gekregen betreffende een veilig gebruik
van het toestel en de risico’s die ermee gepaard gaan.
Kinderen mogen in geen geval met het toestel spelen.
Schoonmaak en onderhoud mogen niet worden uitgevoerd
door kinderen, tenzij ze jaar of ouder zijn en onder toezicht
staan.
Houd het apparaat en zijn snoer buiten het bereik van
kinderen jonger dan jaar.
Het toestel mag enkel gebruikt worden zoals in deze gebruiksaanwijzing beschreven is.
Wanneer u dit toestel aan een andere gebruiker overhandigt, gelieve altijd deze
gebruiksaanwijzing bij te voegen.
Controleer of de netspanning overeenkomt met deze van het toestel
vooraleer u het gebruikt.
Laat het toestel nooit onbeheerd achter bij gebruik.
Controleer regelmatig of het snoer of de stekker niet beschadigd zijn.
Gebruik het toestel niet indien het snoer, de stekker of het toestel zelf enige
beschadiging zouden vertonen. Een beschadigd snoer dient te worden
vervangen door een bekwame gekwalificeerde dienst

Zorg ervoor dat het snoer niet in aanraking komt met de warme onderdelen van het
toestel.
Gebruik het toestel enkel voor huishoudelijk gebruik en op de wijze zoals vermeld in de
gebruiksaanwijzing.
Dompel het toestel nooit onder in water of in enige andere vloeistof, noch om het te
reinigen, noch om welke andere reden ook. Steek het nooit in een vaatwasmachine.
Gebruik het toestel niet in de nabijheid van warmtebronnen.
Gebruik het toestel niet buiten en berg het op op een droge plaats.
Gebruik geen accessoires die niet door de fabrikant werden aanbevolen. Dit kan
gevaarlijk zijn voor de gebruiker en het toestel beschadigen.
Trek nooit aan het snoer om het toestel te verplaatsen. Zorg dat het elektriciteitssnoer
nergens kan achterhaken en daardoor de val van het toestel veroorzaken. Draai het
snoer niet rond het toestel en plooi het niet.
Zet het toestel en/of zijn houder op een stabiel oppervlak.
Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact vooraleer u het toestel reinigt. Laat het toestel afkoelen
vooraleer het opnieuw te vullen of te reinigen.
Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact als het toestel niet in gebruik is.
