WICHTIGE SICHERHEITSVORSCHRIFTEN
Lesen Sie aufmerksam die Gebrauchsanleitung, bevor Sie Ihr Gerät benutzen.
Wichtig: Dieses Produkt kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren sowie
von Personen mit reduzierten physischen, sensorischen oder
mentalen Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrungen und/oder
Wissen benutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich

unbeaufsichtigt.
Überprüfen Sie regelmäßig, ob die Anschlussleitung nicht
beschädigt ist. Bei Beschädigung der Anschlussleitung oder
des Gerätes letzteres nicht benutzen. Lassen Sie es von
einem Fachmann(*) überprüfen. Eine beschädigte
Anschlussleitung sollte von einem Fachmann(*)
ausgewechselt werden.
Benutzen Sie das Gerät nur zu Haushaltszwecken, wie in der
Bedienungsanleitung angegeben.
Tauchen Sie das Gerät niemals in Wasser oder andere
Flüssigkeiten, weder zum Reinigen, noch zu einem anderen
Zweck. Geben Sie das Gerät niemals in die Spülmaschine.
Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe einer
Wärmequelle.



Lassen Sie den Wasserkocher abkühlen und ziehen Sie den
Stecker aus der Steckdose bevor Sie das Gerät reinigen
oder aufräumen.
Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht im Freien und bewahren Sie es
an einem trockenen Platz auf.
Benutzen Sie nur Zubehör, welches vom Lieferanten
empfohlen wurde. Anderes Zubehör stellt eine Gefahr für
den Benutzer dar und das Gerät könnte dadurch
beschädigt werden.
Ziehen Sie niemals an der Anschlussleitung um das Gerät zu
bewegen. Achten Sie darauf, dass die Anschlussleitung
nicht irgendwo hängen bleibt und dies zum Fall des Gerätes
führen könnte. Wickeln Sie die Anschlussleitung nicht um das
Gerät oder knicken Sie diese nicht.
Stellen Sie das Gerät bzw. den Sockel auf eine stabile,
ebene Fläche.
Ist Ihr Modell mit einem separaten Sockel oder einer
abtrennbaren Anschlussleitung ausgestattet, so entfernen
Sie diese Teile bevor Sie den Wasserkocher mit Wasser füllen.
Ist Ihr Wasserkocher mit einer festen Anschlussleitung
ausgestattet, ziehen Sie dann erst den Stecker aus der
Steckdose, bevor Sie den Wasserkocher füllen.
Achten Sie darauf, dass der Wasserkocher zwischen der
Maximum- und Minimummarkierung gefüllt wird. Überprüfen
Sie stets ob der Wasserstand nicht unter die
Minimummarkierung gelangt, da dies zu Beschädigungen
des Heizelementes führen könnte. Achtung! Wenn Sie zuviel
Wasser einfüllen, kann der Wasserkocher überkochen und
kochendes Wasser kann herausspritzen.
Bei Gebrauch des Gerätes sollte der Deckel sachgemäß
geschlossen sein. Öffnen Sie erst dann den Deckel, wenn
sich der Wasserkocher selbst abgeschaltet hat.
Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie sich nicht verbrennen, da beim
Kochvorgang heißer Dampf entweichen kann.



Ist Ihr Wasserkocher mit einem separaten Sockel
ausgestattet, so darf der Wasserkocher nur mit diesem
Sockel benutzt werden.
Wenn das Symbol auf einer bestimmten Fläche des
Gerätes geklebt ist, ist es eine Warnung. Dieses Symbol
bedeutet: ACHTUNG, diese Fläche könnte während des
Gebrauches heiß werden.
Benutzen Sie zum Entkalken ausschließlich hierfür
vorgesehene Produkte. Benutzen Sie niemals Ammoniak
oder andere Produkte, die Ihrer Gesundheit schaden
könnten.
Ihr Gerät darf niemals über eine externe Zeitschaltuhr oder
irgendein anderes, separates
Fernbedienungssystem eingeschaltet werden.
(*) Fachmann: Anerkannter Kundendienst des Lieferanten oder des Importeurs, der für derartige
Reparaturen zuständig ist. Wenden Sie sich für eventuelle Reparaturen an diesen
Kundendienst.
ANWENDUNGSBEREICH/TÄTIGKEITSBEREICH
Verwenden Sie dieses Gerät nur wie in der Bedienungsanleitung beschrieben. Jeglicher
andere Gebrauch kann zu Schäden am Gerät oder Verletzungen führen.
Dieses Gerät ist nicht für kommerziellen Gebrauch geeignet. Es ist nur für die Nutzung im
Haushalt und ähnlichen Anwendungen konzipiert, wie beispielsweise:
-in Küchen für Mitarbeiter in Läden, Büros und anderen gewerblichen Bereichen;
-von Kunden in Hotels, Motels und anderen Wohneinrichtungen;
-in Frühstückspensionen;
-in landwirtschaftlichen Anwesen.
ERSTE INBETRIEBNAHME
Vor der ersten Benutzung, oder nach dem Entkalken des Wasserkochers, kochen Sie bitte
frisches Wasser auf und gießen Sie das aufgekochte Wasser weg. Wiederholen Sie das Ganze
3 mal. Anschließend spülen Sie bitte den Wasserkocher kalt aus.
INBETRIEBNAHME
Entfernen Sie immer den Wasserkocher von dem Sockel, bevor Sie ihn mit Wasser füllen.
Öffnen Sie den Deckel, indem Sie auf den Entriegelungsknopf drücken und füllen Sie den
Behälter mit kaltem Wasser. Achten Sie darauf, dass der Wasserkocher zwischen der
Maximum- und Minimummarkierung, die in dem Wassertank zu sehen sind, gefüllt wird.
Schließen Sie den Deckel, indem Sie ihn nach unten drücken, bis Sie einen Klick hören.
Vergewissern Sie sich, dass er richtig geschlossen ist.



Stellen Sie den Wasserkocher auf seinen Sockel und schalten Sie das Gerät ein, indem Sie
auf den Schalter drücken. Die Kontrollleuchten wird aufleuchten, um anzudeuten, dass
das Gerät in Betrieb ist. Wenn die Kontrollleuchten nicht aufleuchtet, kontrollieren Sie, ob
das Gerät richtig auf dem Sockel positioniert ist, und dass der Stecker in der Steckdose
steckt.
Der Wasserkocher schaltet sich automatisch ab, sobald das Wasser kocht. Sie können ihn
jederzeit ausschalten, indem Sie den Schalter betätigen.
Falls Sie den Wasserkocher im eingeschalteten Zustand vom Sockel nehmen, schaltet sich
das Gerät aus. Sobald Sie den Wasserkocher wieder auf seinen Sockel stellen müssen Sie
ihn wieder einschalten.
Wenn Sie Wasser ein zweites Mal kochen wollen, nachdem der Wasserkocher automatisch
ausgeschaltet ist, lassen Sie zuerst das Wasser abkühlen. Danach schalten Sie das Gerät
wieder ein.
ÜBERHITZUNGSSCHUTZ
Der Wasserkocher ist mit einem Trockengehschutz ausgestattet, der das Gerät abschaltet,
wenn es versehentlich ohne Wasser eingeschaltet wurde.
Falls dies vorkommt, schalten Sie das Gerät aus. Warten Sie ca. 10 Minuten und gießen Sie
kaltes Wasser in den Wasserkocher. Dies reicht, um den Trockengehschutz auszuschalten.
Der Wasserkocher wird danach wieder normal funktionieren.
Sollte das Problem weiterhin bestehen, wenden Sie sich an den nächsten Kundendienst.
REINIGUNG UND PFLEGE
Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Gerät vor der Reinigung immer ausgeschaltet ist.
Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose und lassen Sie das Gerät abkühlen.
Verwenden Sie ein feuchtes Tuch zum Reinigen. Ablagerungen an den Innenwänden
können mit einer weichen Bürste entfernt werden.
Verwenden Sie niemals scharfe oder scheuernde Reinigungsmittel.
Tauchen Sie den Wasserkocher niemals in Flüssigkeiten ein und reinigen Sie ihn nicht unter
fließendem Wasser.
Bewahren Sie das Gerät an einem sauberen und trockenen Platz auf.
FILTER
Ihr Gerät ist mit einem Filter ausgerüstet. Überprüfen Sie daher den korrekten Gebrauch
des Filters.
Wenn der Deckel geöffnet ist, können Sie den Partikelfilter entfernen, indem Sie ihn
herausziehen und unter fließendem Wasser reinigen.
Es ist notwendig, den Filter regelmäßig zu reinigen.
ENTKALKEN
Das Gerät sollte erst dann entkalkt werden, wenn Kalkansatz im Wasserbehälter sichtbar wird.
Sollten Verkalkungen auftreten, verwenden Sie zur Beseitigung handelsübliche
Entkalkungsmittel.



Beachten Sie beim Entkalken:
Füllen Sie zuerst Wasser in das Gerät, dann das Entkalkungsmittel.
Dosieren Sie die Entkalkungsmittel nicht zu stark! Beachten Sie die Gebrauchsanweisung
der Entkalkungsmittel.
Verwenden Sie bei der Entkalkung mit Essig-Essenz max. 2-3ml.
Vorsicht, beim Aufkochen kann die Mischung schäumen!
Spülen Sie den Behälter nach der Entkalkung mit klarem Wasser aus.

Zum Schutz unserer Umwelt und unserer Gesundheit sind Elektro- und Elektronik-Altgeräte nach
bestimmten Regeln zu entsorgen. Dies fordert den Einsatz sowohl des Herstellers bzw.
Lieferanten als auch des Verbrauchers.
Aus diesem Grund darf dieses Gerät, welche das Symbol auf dem Typenschild bzw. auf
der Verpackung zeigt, nicht in den unsortierten Restmüll gegeben werden. Der Verbraucher
hat das Recht, dieses Gerät kostenfrei über kommunale Sammelstellen zu entsorgen; von dort
aus wird die spezifische Behandlung, Verwertung bzw. das Recycling gem. den Erfordernissen

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance.
Important: This appliance can be used by children over 8 years
old and people with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capacities or with a lack of experience or knowledge if they
have been given supervision or instructions concerning the safe
use of the appliance and the risks involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children
unless they are older than 8 years and supervised.
Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less
than 8 years.
Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated
on the appliance.
Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use.
From time to time check the appliance for damages. Never
use the appliance if cord or appliance shows any signs of
damage. In that case, repairs should be made by a
competent qualified electrician(*). Should the cord be
damaged, it must be replaced by a competent qualified
electrician(*).
Only use the appliance for domestic purposes and in the
way indicated in these instructions.
Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid for
any reason whatsoever. Never put it in the dishwasher.
Never use the appliance near hot surfaces.
Before cleaning or storing the appliance, always unplug the
appliance from the power supply and let it cool down.

Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make sure
the cord cannot get caught in any way. Stand the
appliance on a table or flat surface. Do not wind the cord
around the appliance and do not bend it.
If your type of appliance has a separate base or a
detachable cord, remove them from the water cooker
when filling it. If your appliance has a fixed cord, unplug it
before filling it.
Always fill between the minimum and maximum marks. The
water must never be below the minimum mark or the
heating element might be damaged. Do not overfill the jug
kettle as boiling water might overflow.
When using the appliance, make sure the lid is closed
correctly. Never raise the lid when the jug kettle is in use and
when there are risks of hot water projection due to the
bubbling.
Be careful not to get burned by the hot steam that
evaporates when the water is boiling and especially when
you open the lid.
Use only the base that is supplied with the jug kettle.
Should the symbol be indicated on a certain surface,
you need to be careful when handling the product. This
symbol means “CAUTION, this surface may get very hot
during use”.
When descaling, use a product specifically made for that
purpose that you find in the shops. Do not use ammonia or
any other substance that could damage your health.
Your appliance must never be switched on through an
external timer or any kind of
separate remote control system.
(*) Competent qualified electrician: after-sales department of the producer or importer or any
person who is qualified, approved and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to
avoid all danger. In case of need you should return the appliance to this electrician.



FIELD OF APPLICATION/OF OPERATION
Use the appliance for domestic purposes only and in the way indicated in these
instructions.
This appliance is intended to be used for domestic applications and similar applications
such as:
-Kitchen corners reserved for personnel in shops, offices and other professional
environments,
-Farms,
-The use by clients of hotels, motels and other environments with a residential
character,
-Environments of the “bed and breakfast” type.
BEFORE THE FIRST OPERATION
For the perfect taste, operate the jug kettle with fresh water in order to clean any residue left
from the manufacturing process. When the appliance has cooled down, repeat the process 3
times with fresh water, before rinsing.
OPERATION
Always remove the jug from the power base before filling it or before any operation.
Open the lid by pressing its release button and fill the jug with fresh water, paying
attention not to fill under the minimum mark and above the maximum mark on the water
level indicator.
Close the lid by pressing it down until you hear a click. Make sure it closes correctly.
Put the jug onto the power base, plug into the wall socket and switch on. The pilot light will
come on, indicating that the appliance is operating. If it does not come on, check if the
kettle is correctly positioned on the base and check if the base is plugged in.
The jug kettle will switch off automatically when the water is boiling. However, you can stop
the appliance any time by putting the switch in the off-position.
If you take the jug from the power base when it is switched on, the appliance switches off
automatically. When putting the jug back onto the power base, switch it on again.
For instant reboiling, wait until the water has cooled down and switch on the appliance
again.
SAFETY CUT-OUT
This jug kettle is protected with an automatic safety device which switches the appliance
off when it is accidentally switched on without water. Please bear in mind that only the
thermostat is switched off in case of overheat, whereas the switch stays in ON-position.
In this case, unplug the appliance and wait about 10 minutes for the element to cool.
Then pour in sufficient cold water to cover the element.
The kettle may then be used as normal.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before you start cleaning the appliance, make sure it has been turned off.
Pull the plug and let the appliance cool down.



Use a damp cloth for cleaning. Residues can be removed with a soft brush.
Do not use acrid or abrasive detergents.
Do not immerse the waterkettle in water and do not clean under running water.
Store the appliance at a clean and dry place.
FILTER
Your appliance is provided with a filter. When you want to boil water, settle the filter first.
When the lid is open, you can remove the particle filter by pulling it and clean it under
running water.
The filter should be rinsed clean regularly.
DESCALING
When scale becomes visible in the jug, you have to descale it. To remove scale from the jug
kettle, use products made especially available for this purpose. Make sure to use a type
recommended for plastic kettles.
When descaling, please pay attention to the following points:
First pour some water in the appliance, and add the descaling product afterwards.
Make sure to dilute the product sufficiently. Please follow the instruction manual of the
descaling product.
When using vinegar, do not use more than 2-3 ml.
Caution, the mixture might froth during heating.
After descaling, rinse the appliance twice with fresh water.
PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT –DIRECTIVE 2012/19/EC
In order to preserve our environment and protect human health, the waste electrical and
electronic equipment should be disposed of in accordance with specific rules with the
implication of both suppliers and users. For this reason, as indicated by the symbol on the
rating label or on the packaging, your appliance should not be disposed of as unsorted
municipal waste. The user has the right to bring it free of charge to a municipal collection point
performing waste recovery by means of reuse, recycling or use for other applications in
accordance with the directive.

regulation 1275/2008/EC. Our product does not dispose of a standby mode as the electric
kettle switches off completely immediately after the boiling is finished and as a consequence
