If you have any doubt, please refer to the datasheet on the website or contact EFFILUX.
•Do not look directly or with any optical instrument the light beam
•Avoid any contact with the LED or with the projection lens
•IP54 Classification (PSV): Protected from limited dust ingress & protected from water spray from any direction
•IP40 Classification (FAN): Protected from tools greater than 1mm & not protected from water
•Use the device in an environment at 0°C to +40°C with no excessive moisture: high humidity and high
temperature could damage the device
•Do not use the device in an environment with oil fumes and steam
•Do never try to fix any damages to the product by yourself
•Make sure you are using a correct power supply before connecting the device
•Do not inverse electrical polarity –check your connections and the conventions before turning on the power
supply
•Make sure you consider an adapted connector to link the device to the power supply
Any improper use voids the warranty

Maintenance
For the C-mount version, unscrew the C-mount adaptor before following the “change the mask” part.
To handle the optical components, wearing gloves is strongly recommended.
To clean the optical components: Use compressed air duster if there is dust.
To remove marks on the lens or the window, just a drop or two wiped of alcohol-based lens cleaning fluid in a gentle circular motion
with a cleaning tissue. Always apply the fluid to a tissue rather than the lens itself.

CONTACT ARRANGEMENT –PSV & FAN version
The EFFI-SHARP is supplied with a 24V constant voltage. The power consumption depends on the LED version (MX1 or MX2) and on the intensity
which flows through the LED. It is comprised between 45W and 90W.

(1) If the AIC is not connected, the light will light on at 100% as if VAIC=24V. If you don’t need to adjust light level do not connect/use this PIN.

Auto-Strobe
mode
The LED driver inside the product is set to automatically
pulse the LED.
If you trigger light for a short pulse (< 100 µs), light is pulsed
(LED are driven at 2A).
If your pulse is longer, light automatically decreases LED
current to protect LED against failure.
To protect LED, the product will enter in protection mode
(Light is OFF for 2 second) if the duty cycle is superior to 0.3.
Every 2 seconds, the product will check if duty cycle is correct
to restart.
If D=Duty cycle (ON TIME / (ON TIME + OFF TIME)) > 0.3
→Light shutdowns for 2 seconds
Continuous
mode
If you set trigger NPN (or PNP) continuously ON the light will
run continuously with a 700 mA LED current.
Analog
Intensity
Control (AIC)
By adjusting the analog voltage, light intensity can be
controlled from 10% to 100%. If the Input AIC is not
connected, the EFFI-SHARP will act as if AIC was set at 24V.
•0 –3V: LED OFF
•3 –10V: ≈10% to 100% light intensity
•10 - 24V: LED ON 100%
•100% if not connected

•Ne pas regarder le faisceau lumineux directement ou par le biais de n’importe quel instrument optique
•Eviter tout contact avec les LED et avec la lentille de projection
•Code IP54 (PSV) : Ne pas immerge le produit dans l’eau ou dans n’importe quel autre liquide
•Code IP40 (FAN) : Protégé contre les corps solides supérieurs à 1mm & non protégé contre l’intrusion d’eau
•Utiliser le produit dans un environnement dont la température de travail est située entre 0°C et +50°C et peu
humide (<80%) : Si ces conditions ne sont pas respectées, le produit peut être endommagé
•Ne pas utiliser le produit dans un environnement présentant des fumées ou des vapeurs d’huiles
•Ne jamais essayer de réparer d’éventuels dommages du produit par vous-même
•Assurez-vous d’utiliser la bonne alimentation avant de connecter le produit
•Ne pas inverser la polarité électrique –vérifiez vos connexions et les conventions avant d’allumer le produit
•Assurez-vous d’avoir un connecteur adapté pour relier l’appareil à l’alimentation
•Ne pas couvrir les trous de ventilation pour la version FAN
Toute utilisation incorrecte annule la garantie.

Pour la version avec monture C, dévisser l’adaptateur C-mount avant de suivre les étapes « changer le masque ».
Pour manipuler les composants optiques, vous devez porter des gants.
Pour nettoyer les composants optiques :
> Utilisez un spray à air comprimé si il y a de la poussière.
> Pour enlever les marques sur la lentille ou sur la fenêtre, appliquez un peu de fluide (alcool) nettoyant pour lentilles sur un chiffon
propre. Toujours appliquer le fluide sur le chiffon et pas directement sur la lentille.

Le EFFI-SHARP PSV & FAN est alimenté par une source de tension constante 24V. La consommation électrique dépend de la version LED (MX1 ou
MX2) et de l’intensité traversant les LED. Elle est comprise entre 45 et 90 W.

Mode Strobe
Le driver LED à l’intérieur du produit est réglé
automatiquement pour donner des impulsions aux LED.
Si vous déclenchez une impulsion lumineuse (< 100 µs), la
lumière est pulsée (les LED sont drivés à 2A).
Si l’impulsion est plus longue, le courant qui traverse la LED va
automatiquement diminuer pour protéger les LED.
Toutes les 2 secondes, le produit va vérifier si le rapport
cyclique est correct.
Si D=Duty cycle (ON TIME / (ON TIME + OFF TIME)) > 0.3
→La lumière s’éteint pendant 2 secondes
Mode continu
Si vous réglez le trigger NPN (ou PNP) en continue sur ON, le
courant traversant les LED sera de 700mA.
Analog
Intensity
Control (AIC)
En ajustant la tension analogique, l’intensité lumineuse peut
être controlée de 10% à 100%. Si l’entrée AIC n’est pas
connectée, l’EFFI-Sharp va se comporter comme si le AIC est à
24V.
