Assembly of the Mounting Brackets
Step 1: Determine which one of the two installation options to
be used as shown in Figure 2A:
• Installation Option A: Brackets installed facing
outward for easier access to the mounting holes.
• Installation Option B: Brackets installed facing
inward for a smaller footprint.
Step 2: Use 3 screws along with 3 washers to mount each
bracket on each side of the SDU UPS as illustrated
in Figure 2B.
Assembly of the Mounting Brackets and the
Dry Contact Relay Box
Step 1: Determine which assembly option is to be used (Option A or
Option B) as shown in Figure 2A.
Step 2: Use 3 screws along with 3 washers to mount the left side
bracket to the SDU UPS as illustrated in Figure 2B.
Step 3: Use 2 screws to mount the right side of the Dry Contact Relay
Box and the bracket into the right side of the UPS as illustrated
in Figure 3.
Step 4: Use 2 washers under the Dry Relay Contact Box for each of
the two screws used to secure the left side of the box as illus-
trated in Figure 3.
Notes:
• The 4 screws used for mounting the brackets to the Chassis (wall)
are not provided. The diameter of the hole is 0.219 in.
• The mounting brackets are used in conjunction with or
without the Din Rail mounting mechanism.
