DEUTSCH
1. Auslieferung
Am Uhrwerk nach dem Auspacken keine Veränderung vornehmen. Werksseitig, wird das Uhrwerk in folgender Stellung ausgeliefert. Zeigerstellung 12:00 Uhr. Melodieauswahl Bim Bam Laut-
stärke maximal
2. Montagevorbereitung
Notwendige Materialien, wie Zifferblatt, Zeiger, Distanzscheibe, Zentralschraube und Zeigermutter bereitlegen.
3. Einbau
Die Distanzscheibe auf das Uhrwerk legen und das Uhrwerk am Zifferblatt mit Zentralschraube befestigen.
Den Aufhänger auf 12:00 Uhr Position ausrichten und die Zentralschraube fest anziehen.
4. Zeiger montieren und Kontrolle der Zeigerstellung
Den Stundenzeiger auf 12.00 Uhr ausgerichtet auf den Zeigeransatz der Stundenwelle drücken und den Zeiger in dieser Position nicht drehen.
Den Minutenzeiger auf 12.00 Uhr aufsetzen und mit der Zeigermutter festschrauben.
5. Kontrolle der Zeigerstellung
Den Minutenzeiger mittels des Stellrades auf der Rückseite des Uhrwerks oder vorsichtig mit dem Finger am Minutenzeiger zurück auf Minutenposition 45 Minuten bewegen und langsam
Richtung 12:00 Uhr Position bewegen.Wenn der Minutenzeiger genau auf der 12:00 Position ist, muss ein wahrnehmbares Klicken zu hören sein. Sollte dies nicht hörbar sein, wenn der Minu-
tenzeiger exakt auf der 12 Uhr Position ist, dann bitte die Zeigerstellung wie folgt korrigieren. Das Stellrad auf der Rückseite mit dem Zeigefinger blockieren, wenn das Klickgeräusch zu hören ist
und mit der anderen Hand den Minutenzeiger vorsichtig auf die 12 Uhr Position drehen. Zur Kontrolle das Stellrad auf der Rückseite wieder freigeben und noch einmal den Minutenzeiger auf
Minutenposition 45 Minuten und dann langsam in Richtung 12:00 Uhr Position bewegen. Vorgang ggf. wiederholen.
6. Inbetriebnahme
Batterien polrichtig einlegen.
Das Uhrwerk beginnt zu laufen und schlägt zu jeder vollen Stunde. Die Stundenschläge, werden dabei aufaddiert, mit eins beginnend.
Das Abgleichen des Viertel- oder Halbstundenschlags, erfolgt beim Erreichen der nächsten vollen Stunde.
Die richtige Anzahl der Stundenschläge erfolgt, wenn das Uhrwerk über die nächste 1:00 Uhr Stellung läuft. Beim erstmaligen Erreichen der 1:00 Uhr Stellung synchronisiert das
Uhrwerk die Stundenschläge. Es wird 13:00 Uhr nachmittags als Referenzzeit festgelegt.
Diese Funktion ist für die Zeitberechnung der Nachtabsenkung wichtig. Sollte die Uhrzeit die Lautstärke bei Tag ab 10.15 reduzieren so müssen Sie die Uhr um 12 Stunden weiter
drehen.
7. Batteriewechsel
Wann müssen die Batterien erneuert werden?
Schlagfolge wird nicht richtig wiedergegeben.
Klangqualität hat nachlassen
Zeitanzeige nicht korrekt bzw. Uhrzeit steht.
Pendelfunktion nicht aktiv
8. Inbetriebnahme nach dem Batteriewechsel
Die Uhrzeit mittels des Stellknopfes auf der Rückseite neu einstellen oder die Zeit am Minutenzeiger mit Vorsicht vorwärts drehen.
Das Schlagwerk wird automatisch beim Erreichen der 1:00 Uhr Position synchronisiert, wie in Punkt 6 beschrieben.

1. Shipment
Do not alter the movement after it has been unpacked. The factory settings of the movement are as follows: Position of clock hands 12:00 Melody selection Bim Bam Chime volume maximum
2. Preparing for installation
Have the necessary materials such as dial, hands, spacer washer, center screw and hand nut ready.
3. Installation
Place the spacer washer onto the movement and attach the movement to the dial with the center screw.
Align the hanger to the 12:00 o’clock position and tighten the center screw.
4. Mounting and alignment of the hands
Align the hour hand with the 12.00 o’clock position and press it onto the hour shaft but do not move the hand afterwards.
Place the minute hand in alignment with the 12.00 o’clock position and tighten the hand nut.
5. Verification of the position of the hands
Move the minute hand with the setting knob or gently with your finger backwards to the 45 minute mark and then slowly move towards the 12:00 o’clock position. When the minute hand is exactly
at the 12:00 o’clock position a noticeable click can be heard. Should this not be heard when the minute hand is exactly at the 12:00 position, then the minute hand position needs to be corrected
as follows:
After the clicking noise was heard block the setting knob from turning by pressing on it with your index finger and with the other hand gently turn the minute hand to the 12:00 o’clock position. To
recheck, release the setting knob and move the minute hand backwards to the 45 minute mark and then slowly towards the 12:00 o’clock position again. If necessary, repeat the process.
6. Set-up
Insert batteries with the correct polarity.
The clock starts running and strikes on every full hour. The number of strikes increases, starting with one.
The matching of the quarter or half-hour strikes takes place once the next full hour is reached.
The correct number of hour strikes occurs when the hands pass the 1:00 o’clock position. The first time the 1:00 o’clock position is reached the synchronization of the hour strike
takes place. It is defined as reference time 13:00 o’clock (1:00 pm) in the afternoon.
This feature is important for the calculation of the nighttime mode. If the chime loudness decreases during the day at 10:15 o’clock then you need to turn the clock hands 12 hours
ahead.
7. Changing the batteries
When do the batteries need to be replaced?
Strike sequence is not played correctly.
Quality of chime weakens.
Time displayed is incorrect or clock stopped.
Pendulum function is not active.
8. Start-up after battery replacement
Set to the current time with the setting knob on the backside or gently rotate the minute hand forward.
The chime is synchronized automatically at the 1:00 o’clock position as described above under position 6.

1. Consegna
Dopo avere aperto l’imballo del movimento non si deve modificare lo stesso in nessun modo. Il movimento viene consegnato da fabbrica in questo modo:
Posizione delle lancette 12:00, melodia selezionata: Bim Bam; Volume: massimo
2. Preparazione al montaggio
Mettere sul tavolo di lavoro i materiali necessari come le lancette, il quadrante, l’anello, la vite e il dado.
3. Montaggio
- Mettere l’anello sul movimento
- Fissare il movimento al quadrante con la vite centrale
- Allineare l’attacco alle ore 12:00 e avvitare la vite centrale.
4. Montare le lancette e controllare la posizione delle lancette
- Allineare la lancetta delle ore alle ore 12:00, premere la base dell’albero e non muovere la lancetta in questa posizione.
- Allineare anche la lancetta dei minuti alle ore 12:00 e fissare con il dado centrale.
5. Controllo della posizione delle lancette
- Muovere accuratamente la lancetta dei minuti con la rotella di regolazione o con le dita alla positione di 45 minuti e muoverla lentamente in direzione delle ore 12:00. Quando la lancetta si
troverà esattamente sulle ore 12:00 si sentirà un clic. Se non si sentisse questo rumore in questa posizione, correggere la posizione delle lancette come segue: bloccare con il dito la rotella di
regolazione appena si sente il clic, e portare con l’altra mano la lancetta dei minuti alle ore 12:00. Per controllare rilasciare la rotella di regolazione e portare ancora una volta la lancetta dei
minuti ai 45 minuti e muovere poi lentamente verso le ore 12:00. Se necessario ripetere questa operazione.
6. Messa in funzione
- Inserire le batterie, attenzione al polo giusto.
- Il movimento comincia a funzionare e suona ad ogni ora. I tocchi vengono aggiunti ogni volta cominciando dal primo tocco.
- Il compensamento dei quarti e delle mezzore avviene con il raggiungimento della prima ora completa.
- La quantità giusta di tocchi/battiti segue dopo che il movimento ha raggiunto per la prima volta le ore 01:00. Dopo aver passato per la prima volta le ore 01:00 il movimento sincronizzerà i
tocchi delle ore. Tempo di riferimento sono le ore 13:00 del pomeriggio.
Questa funzione è importante per la riduzione notturna. Se desiderate una riduzione del volume di giorno dalle 10:15 si deve ruotare l’orologio altre 12 ore.
7. Cambio delle batterie
Quando devono essere cambiate le batterie?
- La sequenza dei tocchi non è giusta
- Il suono dei tocchi non è più buono
- L’ora non è piú corretta o l’orologio è fermo
- Il pendolo non funziona più
8. Messa in funzione dopo il cambio delle batterie
- Regolare di nuovo l’ora per mezzo del bottone sul retro, oppure girare cautamente in avanti le lancette dei minuti.
- I tocchi/battiti del movimento si sincronizzano dopo aver raggiunto la ora 01:00, come già descritto sul punto 6.

Inbetriebnahme
Setzen Sie als Erstes die Zeiger bei 12 Uhr auf.
Legen Sie die je 1 Batterie LR6 AA (1,5V) polrichtig in die Batteriefächer des Uhrwerks ein (Markierung beachten).
Lösen Sie die Transportsicherung des Pendelarms- falls notwendig- durch leichtes Drücken nach rechts.
Stellen Sie die Uhrzeit mittels des Drehknopfes auf der Rückseite des Uhrwerks auf die aktuelle Uhrzeit ein.
Melodieauswahl
Dieses Uhrwerk spielt wahlweise im Viertelstundenrhythmus die traditionelle Westminstermelodie mit Vollstundenzählung oder zu jeder halben Stunde den Bim-Bam-Gong mit entsprechender
Stundenzählung. Die gewünschte Melodie wird mit dem Wahlschalter (WM bzw. BB) eingestellt.
Das Melodiespiel ertönt erstmals beim Erreichen der vollen Stunde. Hierbei werden die ausgewählte Melodie sowie 1 x der Stundengong abgespielt, unabhängig von der aktuell eingestellten
Stunde. Bei den nachfolgenden Stunden, wird der Stundengong weitergezählt und entsprechend addiert.
Das Uhrwerk synchronisiert sich nach Inbetriebnahme erstmals beim Durchlauf der 1-Uhr Position. Danach ertönt der Stundenschlag jeweils in korrekter Anzahl.
Zu beachten ist hierbei, dass die Erstsynchronisation nach Inbetriebnahme der 13:00 Uhr Position entspricht. Bei Umschaltung der Melodie von Westminster auf Bim-Bam-Gong oder umgekehrt,
ertönt das gewünschte Signal bei der nächsten vollen Stunde. Wird die Melodie während des Ablaufs einer Melodie umgeschaltet, wird die aktuell laufende Melodie nicht unterbrochen.
Nachtabsenkung
Zusätzlich verfügt dieses Uhrwerk über eine Nachtabsenkungsfunktion, während dieser die ausgewählte Melodie mit reduzierter Lautstärke abgespielt wird. Bei aktivierter Nachtabsenkung wird
die Melodie von 22:15 bis 06:45 Uhr mit reduzierter Lautstärke abgespielt. Zur Aktivierung stellen Sie den Melodiewahlschalter auf die gewünschte Melodieposition (WM oder BB) mit Symbol
Mond. Sollte die Nachtabsenkung nicht korrekt nachts sondern tagsüber aktiviert sein, stellen Sie die Uhrzeit bitte mittels des Drehschalters auf der Rückseite des Uhrwerks um 12 Stunden vor.
Ist keine Nachtabsenkung gewünscht, stellen Sei den Melodiewahlschalter auf die gewünschte Melodieposition (WM oder BB) mit Symbol Sonne.
Lautstärkeregelung
Für die Lautstärke des Melodiespiels, stehen 3 unterschiedliche Varianten zur Verfügung: volle Lautstärke, reduzierte Lautstärke und Aus.
Zur Auswahl der vollen Lautstärke, der reduzierten Lautstärke oder zum Abstellen der Melodie stellen Sie den Wahlschalter auf die entsprechende Position.

Start up
First of all place the hands at 12.00 o’clock.
Place 1x LR6 AA (1,5V) alkaline battery in the correct position in the battery compartment of the movement (taking care to observe the correct polarity direction - +).
Release the transport lock of the pendulum, pressing it lightly to the right where necessary.
Set the correct time using the hand set knob on the back of the movement.
Melody selection
This movement has a choice of the traditional Westminster chimes in quarter-hour rhythm with counting of the full hour or the Bim-Bam gong every half an hour with corresponding hourly chime.
The chosen melody is selected using the selector switch (WM or BB).
The melody sounds for the first time after reaching the full hour. The selected melody and 1 x the hourly gong are played, irrespective of the actual time set. On the subsequent hours the hourly
gong is added on accordingly. After start up the movement synchronises itself for the first time on passing the one o’clock position, after which the hourly chimes are sounded in the correct
number.
Here it should be noted that initial synchronisation following start up corresponds to one o’clock position. When switching the melody from Westminster to Bim-Bam gong or vice versa the
selected signal is sounded at the next full hour. If the melody is switched off during the course of a melody being played, the melody being played is not interrupted.
Night setback
In addition, the movement also has a night setback function in which the melody is played at reduced volume. Where night setback is activated, the melody is played at reduced volume between
22:15 and 6:45. To activate the night setback function set the melody selection switch to the required melody position (WM or BB) with moon symbol. If the night setback does not function at night
but during the daytime, please use the knob on the back of the movement to advance the set time by 12 hours.
If no night setback is required, set the melody selection switch to the required melody position (WM or BB) with the sun symbol.
Volume control
Three different levels are available for the volume of the melody (full volume, reduced volume and off). Set the selector switch to the corresponding position to select the volume or switch off the
melody.

Messa in funzione
Per prima cosa mettere le lancette alle ore 12:00.
Inserire le 2 batterie LR6 AA (1,5V) Negli appositi scomparti rispettando la giusta polarità
(segno - +).
Se necessario, sganciare la sicura del braccio del pendolo premendo leggermente verso destra.
Regolare l’ora servendosi dell’apposito bottone situato sul retro del movimento dell’orologio
Scelta della melodia
Questo movimento riproduce, a scelta, la tradizionale melodia Westminster ai quarti con ritocchi all’ora piena oppure la suoneria Bim-Bam alle mezze e ritocchi all’ora piena.
La melodia desiderata viene impostata con il selettore (WM o BB). La suoneria si attiva per la prima volta al raggiungimento dell’ora piena. Indipendentemente della suoneria scelta e a prescinde-
re dell’ora impostata, la suoneria effettuerà solo un ritocco per ora.
Ad ogni ora successiva il numero di rintocchi aumenterà di uno e una volta raggiunta l’ora 01:00, l’orologio si sincronizzerà automaticamente con l’ora indicata che non sarà l’una di notte bensì le
13:00 primo pomeriggio. Quando si cambia la melodia da Westminster a Bim-Bam o viceversa, la suoneria desiderata entrerà in funzione della successiva ora piena. Se si cambia melodia
mentre è in corso la suoneria, essa non verrà interrotta.
Silenzio notturno
Questo movimento dispone di un silenziatore notturno per la riduzione automatica della suoneria. Se attivato il volume della suoneria si ridurrà dalle ore 22:15 alle 06:45.
Per attivarlo è sufficiente posizionare il selettore delle melodie sulla suoneria desiderata (WM o BB) con il simbolo della luna. Se la suoneria si dovesse ridurre durante il giorno anzichè durante la
notte, sarà necessario portare avanti l’orologio di 12 ore tramite il bottone per la regolazione dell’ora.
Se non si desidera attivare il silenziatore, posizionare il selettore delle melodie sulla suoneria desiderata (WM o BB) con il simbolo del sole.
Regolazione del volume
Il volume della suoneria è regolabile su tre posizioni (volume alto, ridotto e spento). Per impostare ilvolume o per spegnere la suoneria, posizionare oppurtunamente l’apposito selettore.
