Die tragbaren Handscheinwerfer der Reihe
HS 4 Ex sind explosionsgeschützte elektri-
sche Betriebsmittel und dienen zur Aus-
leuchtung von Betriebs- und Lagerstätten in
explosionsgefährdeten Bereichen der Zone
1 und 2. Sie sind für den Innen- und Au-
ßenbereich einsetzbar.
The portable lamp of line HS 4 Ex are
explosion-proof and electrical equipment
and serve for illumination of shops and
offices of a factory and storages in areas
of zone 1 and 2 where there is a danger
of explosion. They can be used inside or
outside.

trique antidéflagrant et servent à
l’illumination des ateliers et bureaux
d’usine et des aires de stockage avec

Bei defekter Hauptlampe erfolgt automati-
sches Umschalten auf die Sparlampe (Fa-
denbruchkontrolle). Ein totaler Lichtausfall
wird dadurch vermieden.
In the case of a faulty main lamp, there is
an automatic switch over to the economy
lamp (filament break monitor) in order to
avoid a total light failure.
En cas d’une lampe principale défec-
tueuse, il y a une commutation automa-
tique à la lampe économique (contrôle
de l’état de la lampe) pour éviter une
panne totale de lumière.

Der Ladezustand des Akkus wird durch fünf
Leuchtdioden angezeigt. Nach dem Ein-
schalten des Handscheinwerfers zeigen die
Leuchtdioden die verfügbare Batteriekapa-
zität an. Die Temperatur der Batterie beein-
flusst die Ladezustandsanzeige, wenn bei
vollgeladener Batterie die oberste LED nur
kurz aufleuchtet, ist das auf die Tempera-
tureinflüsse zurückzuführen. Ein Defekt der
Batterie oder des Handscheinwerfers liegt
nicht vor.
The accumulator charge is indicated by
five light-emitting diodes. After switching on
of the portable lamp, the light-emitting
diodes indicate the available battery capac-
ity. The battery temperature influences the
charging state display. If the battery is fully
charged and the upper LED lights up only
briefly, this can be attributed to tempera-
ture influence. Neither the battery nor the
portable lamp is faulty.
Cinq diodes électroluminescentes signa-
lent la charge de l’accumulateur. Apres
la projecteur portatif est allumée, les
diodes électroluminescentes signalent la
capacité de la batterie. La température
de la batterie influence l’affichage de
l’état de chargement. Si la batterie est
entièrement chargée et la DEL supé-
rieure ne s’allume que brièvement, cela
est dû à l’influence de la température. Ni
la batterie, ni le projecteur portatif sont
défectueux.

Vor dem Erreichen der Ladeschlussspan-
nung wird automatisch auf die Sparlampe
umgeschaltet. Restleuchtdauer mit der
Sparlampe ca. 1 Stunde. Beim Erreichen
der Ladeschlussspannung wird die Lampe
ausgeschaltet. Leuchte nicht über längere
Zeit ungeladen lagern. Bei Nichtgebrauch
den Handscheinwerfer immer im Ladegerät
aufladen bzw. parken.
Before the final charging voltage is
reached, there is an automatic switch over
to the economy lamp. The residual lumi-
nous duration of the economy lamp is
about 1 hour. After reaching the charging
end voltage, the lamp is switched off. Do
not store the luminaire uncharged for pro-
longed periods. An unused portable lamp
shall always be charged or parked in the
charging unit.
Avant d’atteindre la tension finale de
charge, il y a une commutation automati-
que à la lampe économique. La durée
résiduelle d’éclairement de la lampe éco-
nomique est d’environ 1 heure. Quand la
tension finale de charge est atteinte, la
lampe est éteinte. N’emmagasinez pas le
luminaire non chargé pour longtemps. Un
projecteur portatif non utilisé doit toujours
être chargé et stationné dans le chargeur.

Werden diese Mindestspannungen unter-
schritten, wird die Stromaufnahme aus der
Ladespannungsquelle auf ein Minimum
reduziert. Beide grünen Leuchtdioden des
Ladegerätes sind dann ausgeschaltet. Die-
se Überwachung schützt die Fahrzeugbat-
terie vor zu großer Entladung. Eine totale
Entladung der Fahrzeugbatterie ist dadurch
nicht möglich, bei älteren Fahrzeugbatterien
wird somit nur bei laufendem Motor des
Fahrzeugs geladen.
If tension falls short of these minimum
voltages, drawing of current from the
charging voltage source is reduced to a
minimum. Both green light-emitting diodes
of the charging unit are then switched off.
This monitoring effect protects the vehicle
battery against excessive discharge. Total
discharge of the vehicle battery is thereby
prevented. For older vehicle batteries,
charging should therefore only take place
with

If the portable lamp is placed in the charg-
ing unit and there is a voltage loss, the
main lamp will light up, which is ideal for
finding the portable lamp. It is switched off
again when power returns.
Si le projecteur portatif est placé dans le
chargeur et il y a une panne de tension de
réseau, la lampe principale s’allume, ce
qui est idéal pour retrouver le projecteur.

Der Scheinwerferkopf mit beweglichem Griff
lässt sich nach vorn um 20 ° und nach hin-
ten um 90 ° schwenken. Mit den seitlichen
Schrauben am Scharnier kann die Beweg-
lichkeit des Lampenkopfes eingestellt wer-

head can be adjusted by the lateral hinge
screws.

Vorsteckscheiben Lenses Glaces
Die Lichtscheibe ist mit beidseitiger Ausspa-
rung zum Einfügen von Vorsteckscheiben
versehen. Zwei Vorsteckscheiben in den
Farben klar und orange liegen dem Hand-
scheinwerfer-Set bei. Andersfarbige Vor-
steckscheiben sind auftragsbedingt möglich
(siehe Zubehör).
At both sides of the light lens, there are
slots for inserting auxiliary lenses. Two
auxiliary lenses of clear and orange col-
ours are supplied in the portable lamp set.
Auxiliary lenses of other colours can be
ordered (see accessories).

inserts frontaux. Deux inserts unicolore et
orange sont livrés avec le projecteur
portatif. Des inserts frontaux d’autres
couleurs peuvent être commandés (voir

the lens applied in the ex zone only with
a wet cloth!

Gürtelhaken Belt hook Crochets de ceinture
An der Rückseite des Lampenkopfes ist ein
stabiler Gürtelhaken mit Ringöse ange-
bracht. Er ermöglicht das Einhängen des
Handscheinwerfers in den Gürtel bzw. in
einen Karabinerhaken.
At the back of head of lamp a stable belt
hook of high-grade steel can be installed
(11). It makes possible the hanging up of
the portable lamp into the belt; a carabine
swivel can be also hung up by a ring eye-
let.
Un crochet de fixation solide avec œillet
annulaire est attaché à la face arrière de
la tête du projecteur. Il permet
d’accrocher le projecteur dans la cein-
ture ou dans un porte-mousqueton.
4 Laden 4 Charging 4 Charge
Die Ladung darf nur mit dem Eisemann-
Ladegerät vorgenommen werden. Hierzu
wird der Handscheinwerfer auf das Ladege-
rät gesetzt und geparkt.
Charging is only permitted with the Eise-
mann charging set. Place the portable
lamp on the charging set and park it there.

den Haltestegen vorsichtig wieder ein-
setzen.

zurück und führen die Akkuzellen einem
geordneten und vollständigen Recycling zu,
dass heißt, mögliche umweltbelastende
Stoffe werden zurückgewonnen und neu für
die Produktion von Akkuzellen verwendet.
Used batteries must be disposed of in
accordance with environmental require-
ments. If this is not possible we take them
back and have the battery cells recycled
correctly and completely, i.e. potentially
pollutive materials are recovered and used
for the production of new battery cells.

prend vos accumulateurs usagés et les

Am Frontring des Handscheinwerferkopfes
die drei Schrauben lösen und dann nach
vorne abnehmen. Fassung aus dem Reflek-
tor abziehen, danach können die Lampen
aus den Fassungen gedreht werden (Links-
drehung). Neue Lampen nur mit Schutztuch
anfassen und eindrehen. Frontring wieder
einsetzen und mit den Schrauben sichern
(Abbildung 5).
Undo the three screws at the portable lamp
head front ring and take them off in a for-
ward movement. Detach the socket from
the reflector. Then the lamps can be un-
screwed from the sockets (counter-
clockwise rotation). Touch new lamps only
with a protective cloth and screw them in.
Reinstall front ring and fix it with the screws
(illustration 5).
Dévissez les trois vis à l’anneau avant
de la tête du projecteur portatif et enle-
vez les en avant. Tirez la douille du
réflecteur. Ensuite, les lampes peuvent
être dévissées des douilles (rotation à
gauche). Ne touchez les nouvelles lam-
pes qu’avec un chiffon protecteur et
vissez les. Remettez l’anneau avant et
fixez le en serrant les vis (illustration 5).

Bei der Entsorgung der Leuchte müssen
die Bauteile getrennt werden und um-
weltgerecht entsorgt werden. Insbeson-
dere der bleihaltige Akku, der als um-
weltgefährdend eingestuft ist und da-
durch bei ausgewiesenen Entsorgungs-
trägern zurückzugeben werden muss. Die
Akkuzellen sind einem geordneten und
vollständigen Recycling zuzuführen.
When disposing of the light fitting, the dif-
ferent components have to be disposed of
separately in accordance with environ-
mental requirements, especially the battery
containing lead, which is classified as envi-
ronmentally hazardous and therefore has to
be returned to an official waste disposal
company that recycles battery cells correctly
and completely.
