5. TRANSPORT AND STORAGE
Important:
The equipment shall be fixed carefully during transport to avoid mechanical damage.
The equipment shall be handled using the lifting hooks specially built on.
Transport and storage conditions:
temperature: - 25°C ... +40°C
relative humidity: max 80% at 20°C
max 90% at 25°C, for max. 2 days
no chemically active environment

6. INSTALLATION, COMMISSIONING
The following steps shall be made during the installation:
removing the fixing systems, during transport, for the hardening transformer
connection to the three-phase mains using the prescribed type of cable or equivalent
(see the electrical documentation)
connection of the distillation machine to the protection earth
The specialists of the manufacturer shall make the machine commissioning. The
customer's maintenance personnel participation at commissioning is recommended.
Safety norms for low voltage installations shall be respected.
The machine commissioning comprises the following steps:
checking of correct installation
checking of the mains supply voltage
checking the machine operation in test mode
distillation machine parameter adjustment
monitoring of machine operation during the distillation process
tuition of the operator and maintenance personnel

7. MAINTENANCE
The distillation machine needs the following periodic maintenance operations:
checking the earth connections according to the safety norms
dust cleaning inside and outside the cabinet by clean and dry pressurized air
checking and fastening the screw connections
8. TROUBLESHOOTING
Troubleshooting needs:
qualified personnel
spare parts recommended by the manufacturer
instruments:
odigital multimeter
o2500 V insulation tester
electrical documentation and user guide
Damaged components shall be replaced with the same type (or equivalent).
Attention:
Modifications of the rated values and setting values of the equipment could
lead to harm of persons and damage of the machine.
Attention:
If electrical or mechanical part have been exchanged during the trouble
shooting, always a function test in manual operation must take place.
Pay attention, that safety and fracture interlocking are OK (danger of
destruction)
Attention:
If you need to enter the safety area of the equipment for the trouble shooting,
in any case the „general safety directions“ have to be observed.

9. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
9.1 Basic safety measures
In order to avoid accidents during normal use, maintenance and troubleshooting
the following shall be respected:
earth connections shall be checked periodically;
the operator shall command the equipment standing on a clean and dry
rubber sheet
the mains power supply protection circuits shall be checked periodically
direct contact with possibly hot surfaces shall be avoided
Safety equipment must not be put out of operation
Attention:
After disconnection, some power components may still have hazardous
voltage for 60s.
Attention:
Persons with cardiac pacemaker are not allowed to operate the system.
When the inductor is swiched on, thay have to keep a safe distance of min 5m.
9.2 Basic safety measures during maintenance

ooperator, maintenance and service personnel shall be properly
instructed
oonly service person may operate any troubleshooting inside the
distillation machine
Before doing any maintenance work on the distillation machine:
Switch off the distillation machine
Wait 60 seconds after the main contactor is off, to assure
complete discharging of the capacitors

9.3 Safety measures during matching the load circuit
Switch off the distillation machine using the main switch
Wait 60 seconds after the main contactor is off, to assure complete
discharging of the capacitors
Be sure that all screws are tightened
After switch on check the result only on the PLC’s screen, do not
make any changes during operation
