IMPORTANT SAFEGUARD
Before using the appliance,the following basic precautions should always be followed including the
following:
1. Read all instructions before using.
2. Do not operate the appliance with a damaged power cord or plug or after the appliance
malfunctions, or it is dropped or damaged in any manner. Return the appliance to the
nearest authorized dealer or after sales-service centre for examination, repair or mechanical
adjustment.
3. Do not let the power cord hang over edge of table or hot surface.
4. To protect against electric shock, do not immerse power cord, plug, or the product body of
the appliance in water or any other liquids.
5. Unplug the plug from wall outlet when not in use.
6. Be careful when moving the appliance especially when it contains hot oil or other hot liquids.
7. While operating the appliance, do not contact any part of your body to the hot surface
(stainless steel surface). Use the button to lock the non-stick coating plates and hold on
handle to open the non-stick coating plates.
8. The use of accessories that are not recommended by the manufacturer may cause injuries
to persons.
9. Do not place the appliance on or near the gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
10.Be careful of the steam and heat emitted from both upper and lower plates during grilling. It
is recommended to use oven mitts or pot holders while cooking.
11.Do not use this appliance outdoors.
12.Do not operate the appliance for other than its intended use.
13.This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible
for their safety.
14.Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
15.While operating the appliance, keep the appliance out of reach of children.
16.Save these instructions for future reference.

OPERATING THE APPLIANCE
1. Unpack the appliance and place it on a flat horizontal counter top and wipe the stainless
steel surface and non-stick coating plate with wet soft cloth (do not immerse the appliance in
water or any other liquids for cleaning).
2. It is recommended to coat a layer of vegetable oil when preheating on the non-stick coating
plates (push up the handle to open the non-stick coating plates). This helps to protect the
non-stick coating surfaces.
3. Then push down the handle to close the non-stick coating plates. Press the button at the
side of the handle to lock the non-stick coating plates.
4. Then connect the plug to the wall outlet. Power on the appliance and the red light on the
stainless steel surface will turn on. This means, the unit will start to preheat. Please wait until
the light turns from red to green (refer to the lights on the stainless steel surface). Usually it
will take approximately 4 minutes to preheat the non-stick coating plates.
5. When the light turns green, the appliance is ready for grilling.
6. Carefully open the non-stick coating plates by unlocking the button at the side of the handle.
Put the prepared foods for grilling on the lower plate. It is recommended to use oven mitts or
pot holders to reduce the risk of touching hot surfaces and scalding.
7. Steam may be released from the non-stick coating plates.
Caution: Prevent contacting any parts of your body to the side of the non-stick coating plates
where the steam comes out, especially when opening and closing the plates.
8. The grilling time is approximately 12 minutes, but may vary depends to individual’s taste and
the fillings.
9. Close the non-stick coating plates by pushing down the handle to preserve the heat for the
next grill.
10.Once the cooking process has finished, slowly open the appliance by pushing up the handle
using oven mitts or pot holders. Then remove the remaining grilled foods with a plastic or
wooden spatula. Never use metal utensils as this could cause scratches or damages to
the non-stick coating plates!
11.Some odor may be smelled during initial preheating; this is normal and the smell will
disappear after one or two use.

PLASTICIZER WARNING
The surface of applianceis possible to become very hotwhen cooking, whichis likely to cause
blemishes, discolor or stains on the table top. Itis recommended to place non-plastic pads between
the applianceand table top.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. After use, power off the switch and disconnect the plug from wall outlet and allow the
appliance to cool down before cleaning.
2. Wipe the stainless steel, non-stick coating plates and handle with absorbent paper or towel
or soft cloth. Never use abrasive cleaner to wipe the plates!
WARNING: Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquids for cleaning.
4. Store the appliance in a safe clean place.
