Sûreté
• Cet apparei a été conçu pour être uti isé par des
adu tes. Vei ez donc à ce que es enfants n’y
touchent pas ou qu’i s ne ’uti isent pas comme
un jouet.
• Débranchez toujours a prise de courant avant de
procéder au nettoyage intérieur et extérieur de
’apparei et au remp acement de a ampe
d’éc airage (pour es apparei s qui en sont
équipés).
• Ne consommez pas certains produits te s que es
bâtonnets g acés dès eur sortie de ’apparei ; a
température très basse à aque e i s se trouvent
peut provoquer des brû ures.
• Cet apparei est ourd. Faites attention ors du
dép acement.
• Faites très attention lorsque vous déplacez
l’appareil afin de ne pas endo ager des
parties du circuit de réfrigérant et ainsi
d’éviter le risque de fuites de liquide.
• L’appareil ne doit pas être situé à proxi ité
de radiateurs ou cuisinières à gaz.
• Evitez une exposition prolongée de l’appareil
aux rayons solaires.
• II doit y avoir une circulation d’air suffisante à
la partie arrière de l’appareil et il faut éviter
tout endo age ent du circuit réfrigérant.
• Seule ent pour congélateurs (sauf odèles
encastrés): un e place ent opti al est la
cave.
• Ne pas ettre d’instru ents électriques à
l’intérieur de l’appareil.
Service/Réparation
• Une éventue e modification à ’insta ation
é ectrique de votre maison qui devait être néces-
saire pour ’insta ation de ’apparei ne devra être
effectuée que par du personne qua ifié.
• I est dangereux de modifier ou d’essayer de
modifier es caractéristiques de cet apparei .
• Cet apparei contient des hydrocarbures dans
son circuit de réfrigérant; I’entretien et a
recharge ne doivent done être effectués que par
du personne autorisé.
• En cas de panne, n’essayez pas de réparer
’apparei vous-même. Les réparations effectuées
par du personne non qua ifié peuvent provoquer
des dommages. Contactez e Service Après-
Vente e p us proche et n’exigez que des pièces
détachées origina es.
Installation
• Assurez-vous, après avoir insta é ’apparei , que
ce uici ne repose pas sur e câb e d’a imentation.
I portant: en cas de dommage au câb e
d’a imentation, i faudra e remp acer avec un
câb e spécia ou un ensemb e disponib es chez e
fabricant ou e service technique après-vente.
• L’apparei se réchauffe sensibi ment au niveau du
condenseur et du compresseur. Vei ez à ce que
’air circu e ibrement tout autour de ’apparei .
Une venti ation insuffisante entraìnerait un
mauvais fonctionnement et des dommages sur
’apparei . Suivez es instructions données pour
’insta ation.
• A cause du système de transport, ’hui e
contenue dans e compresseur pourrait s’écou er
dans e circuit réfrigérant. Attendez 2 heures au
moins avant de brancher ’apparei pour
permettre à ’hui e de ref uer dans e
compresseur.
Utilisation
• Les réfrigérateurs et/ou congé ateurs ménagers
sont destinés uniquement à a conservation et/ou
congé ation des a iments et des boissons.
• Pour e bon fonctionnement de votre apparei , a
température ambiante du oca doit être comprise
entre +18°C et +43°C (C asse T); +18°C et
+38°C (C asse ST); +16°C et +32°C (C asse N);
+10°C et +32°C (C asse SN); La c asse
d’appartenance est indiquée sur a p aque
signa étique.

Uso del congelatore
Il congelatore è contraddistinto dal si bolo
il quale indica che esso è adatto alla
congelazione di cibi freschi e alla conservazione,
a lungo ter ine, di cibi congelati e surgelati.
Funziona ento
Inserire a spina ne a presa di corrente, a ampada
spia (C) si accenderà; ciò indica che
’apparecchiatura é sotto tensione. Ruotare a
manopo a (B) o tre a posizione «■».
Lo spegnimento si ottiene ruotando a manopo a (B)
de termostato su a posizione «■».
Regolazione della te peratura
La temperatura è rego ata automaticamente e può
essere aumentata (meno freddo) ruotando a
manopo a verso i numeri più bassi oppure diminuita
(più freddo) ruotando a verso i numeri più a ti. La
posizione corretta, comunque, va individuata
tenendo conto che a temperatura interna dipende
da questi fattori:
• a temperatura ambiente;
• a frequenza di apertura de e porte;
• a quantità di a imenti conservati;
• a co ocazione de ’apparecchio.
La posizione inter edia è la più indicata.
Congelazione rapida
Per inserire a conge azione rapida ruotare a
manopo a (A) verso “S” . La spia di funzionamento
(D) si i uminerà.
La pada spia di allar e (E)
Ha o scopo di segna are che a temperatura
a ’interno de ’apparecchiatura è ta e da non
garantire una buona conservazione deg i a imenti.
Quando ’apparecchiatura viene messa in funzione,
oppure quando vengono introdotti g i a imenti da
conge are, questa spia rimane accesa sino a che a
temperatura non ha raggiunto i va ore richiesto per
a conservazione deg i a imenti stessi.
Nel caso in cui la la pada ri anesse continua-
ente accesa (oltre i due giorni), e dopo aver
accertato che la porta sia ben chiusa, bisogna
richiedere l’intervento dell’assistenza tecnica.

• N’essayez jamais d’en ever e givre avec un objet
méta ique, vous risqueriez d’endommager
irréparab ement ’évaporateur. N’emp oyez pour
ce a que a spatu e en p astique ivrée avec
’apparei .
• De même, ne déco ez jamais es bacs à g ace
avec un couteau ou tout autre objet tranchant.
• Ne p acez ni boutei es ni boîtes de boissons
gazeuses dans e congé ateur/compartiment à
basse température, e es pourraient exp oser.
Protection de
l’environne ent
Cet appareil ne contient pas, dans son circuit de
réfrigérant et ses atières isolantes, de gaz
réfrigérant nocifs à la couche d’ozone. L’appareil
ne doit pas être is au rebut avec les ordures
urbaines et la ferraille. Il faut éviter d’endo -
ager le circuit de réfrigérant, surtout à l’arrière
de l’appareil, près de l’énchangeur ther ique.
Vous pouvez vous renseigner sur les centres de
ra assage auprès de votre bureau unicipal.
Les atériaux utilisés dans cet appareil
identifiés par le sy bole sont recyclables.
RENSEIGNEMENTS POUR L’ÉLIMINATION
DES MATÉRIAUX D’EMBALLAGE
Tous es matériaux et es accessoires uti isés pour
emba er nos grands é ectroménagers, sauf ceux qui
sont en bois recyc ab es et peuvent donc se
récupérer.
Voici ce que nous vous consei ons:
• Déposez es emba ages en papier, en carton et
en carton ondu é aux endroits prévus pour e
ramassage de ce genre de matériau.
• Mettez es piéces en p astique dans es
conteneurs prévus à cet effet. Si ce genre de
conteneurs n’existent pas encore à ’endroit où
vous habitez, vous pouvez é iminer es matériaux
en question en es mettant dans es ordures
ménagères.

Protezione dell’a biente
Questa apparecchiatura non contiene, nel
circuito refrigerante e nell’isola ento, gas
refrigeranti nocivi per l’ozono. L’apparecchiatura
non deve essere s altita con rifiuti urbani e
rotta i. Deve essere evitato il danneggia ento
del circuito refrigerante, soprattutto nella parte
posteriore vicino allo sca biatore. Infor azioni
sui centri di raccolta vengono forniti dall’autorità
co unale. I ateriali usati in questa
apparecchiatura contrassegnati dal si bolo
sono riciclabili.
Installazione
•Durante i norma e funzionamento i
condensatore ed i compressore, che sono posti
su retro de ’apparecchiatura, si risca dano
sensibi mente. Assicurarsi quindi che
’insta azione venga eseguita come da istruzioni
riportate su ibretto. Un’aerazione insufficiente
comporterà sicuramente un cattivo
funzionamento e dei danni a ’apparecchiatura.
•Assicurarsi, dopo aver insta ato
’apparecchiatura, che essa non appoggi su cavo
di a imentazione.
I portante: se i cavo di a imentazione si
danneggiasse, dovrà essere sostituito da uno
specia e cavo o assieme disponibi i presso i
costruttore o i servizio di assistenza tecnica.
•Se ’apparecchiatura viene trasportata in
posizione orizzonta e è possibi e che ’o io
contenuto ne compressore def uisca ne circuito
refrigerante. Lasciare ’apparecchiatura in
posizione vertica e a meno 2 ore prima di
metter a in funzione per dar modo a ’o io di
ref uire ne compressore.

Nettoyage
L’apparei étant convenab ement insta é, nous vous
consei ons de e nettoyer soigneusement avec de
’eau tiède savonneuse, pour en ever ’odeur
caractéristique de «neuf».
N’utilisez pas de produits abrasifs, de
poudre à récurer ni d’éponge étallique.
Le congélateur est repéré par le sy bole
ce qui signifie qu’il est apte à la
congélation de denrées fraîches, au
stockage de produits surgelés et à la fabrication
de cubes de glace.
Mise en service
Enfoncez a fiche dans a prise de courant ( e voyant
(C) s’ a ume en indiquant que ’apparei est sous
tension).
Tournez e bouton du thermostat (B) vers a droite
sur une position moyenne.
Pour arrêter ’apparei tournez e bouton du
thermostat sur a position «■».

Réglage de la te pérature
La température est rég ée automatiquement et peut
être augmentée (moins froid) en tournant e bouton
vers es numéros es p us bas ou bien diminuée
(p us froid) en e tournant vers es numéros es p us
é evés.
En tout cas, ’exacte position doit être repérée en
considérant que a température interne dépend des
facteurs suivants:
• température ambiante;
• fréquence d’ouverture des portes;
• quantité d’a iments conservés;
• emp acement de ’apparei .
Une position oyenne est la plus indiquée.

circuito refrigerante; pertanto a manutenzione e
a ricarica deve essere effettuata esc usivamente
da persona e autorizzato da ’azienda.

circuito refrigerante onde evitare possibili
fuoriuscite di fluido.
•L’apparecchiatura non deve essere collocata
nelle vicinanze di ter osifoni o cucine a gas.
•Evitate ogni esposizione prolungata
dell’apparecchiatura ai raggi solari.
•La parte posteriore dell’apparecchiatura deve
ricevere una sufficiente circolazione d’aria e
deve essere evitato qualsiasi danno al
circuito refrigerante.
•Solo per i congelatori (esclusi incassati): una
collocazione otti ale è la cantina.
•Non introdurre apparecchi elettrici all’interno
dell’apparecchiatura (ad es. gelatiera)
Assistenza / Riparazioni
•Ogni eventua e modifica che si rendesse
necessaria a ’impianto e ettrico domestico, per
poter insta are ’apparecchiatura, dovrà essere
eseguita so o da persona e abi itato.
•Mai riparare ’apparecchiatura da so i. Le
riparazioni effettuate da persone non competenti
possono provocare dei danni. Contattare i
Centro di Assistenza più vicino ed esigere so o
ricambi origina i.
Uso
•I frigoriferi e/o conge atori domestici sono
destinati unicamente a a conservazione e/o
conge azione deg i a imenti.
•Le mig iori prestazioni si hanno con temperature
de ’ambiente comprese tra +18°C e +43°C
(C asse T); + 18°C e +38°C (C asse ST); +16°C
e +32°C (C asse N); +10°C e +32°C (C asse
SN); a c asse di appartenenza é riportata su a
targa matrico a ubicata ne a ce a a fianco de
vano verdura.
Attenzione: a di fuori de e temperature
ambiente indicate da a c asse c imatica di
appartenenza di questo prodotto, si devono
osservare e seguenti indicazioni: quando a
temperatura ambiente scende a di sotto de
va ore minimo può non essere garantita a
temperatura di conservazione ne vano
conge atore; pertanto si consig ia di consumare
a più presto g i a imenti in esso contenuti .
•In tutte e apparecchiature ci sono de e superfici
che si coprono di brina. A seconda de mode o,
ta e brina può essere e iminata automaticamente
(sbrinamento automatico) oppure manua mente.
Non tentare mai di tog iere a brina con un
oggetto appuntito, si rischierebbe di danneggiare
irrimediabi mente ’evaporatore. Uti izzare a ta e

•Non mettere mai ne o scompartimento a bassa
temperatura (conge atore o conservatore) bibite
gassate: possono esp odere.
•Non introdurre mai iquidi o a imenti ca di e non
riempire fino a ’or o i recipienti muniti di
coperchio.
•Non usare a cun dispositivo meccanico o a tro
mezzo artificia e per acce erare i processo di
sbrinamento tranne que i qui raccomandati.
•Non usare mai oggetti meta ici per pu ire
’apparecchiatura; essa potrebbe venir
danneggiata.

I portant
Si le ther ostat est réglé sur la position de froid
axi u , lorsque la te pérature a biante est
élevée et que l'appareil est plein, il est possible
que le co presseur fonctionne en régi e
continu. Dans ce cas, il y a un risque de
for ation excessive de givre sur la paroi
postérieure à l’intérieur de l’appareil. Pour éviter
cet inconvénient, placez le ther ostat sur une
position oins élevée, de façon à per ettre un
dégivrage auto atique et, par conséquent, des
écono ies de courant.
Congélation rapide
Pour a mise en congé ation rapide tournez e
bouton (A) sur a position «S».
Le voyant (D) s’a ume.

Voyant d’alar e (A)
Le voyant d’a arme s’a ume orsque a température
à ’intérieur du congé ateur remonte au-dessus
d’une certaine va eur qui est préjudiciab e à une
conservation de ongue durée.
II est norma que e voyant d’a arme reste
momentanément a umé ors de a mise en marche
de ’apparei , c’est-à-dire jusqu’à ce que a
température à ’intérieur atteigne a va eur convenant
e mieux à a conservation des a iments.
Ther o ètre
II vous renseigne sur a température à ’intérieur du
congé ateur. I peut indiquer une température au-
dessous de -18°C (p us chaude) orsque vous
introduisez une quantité importante d’a iments ou
que vous aissez a porte ouverte ongtemps.

Congélation
Pour conge er rapidement des denreées
a imentaires, i faut brancher a congé ation rapide
pendant au moins 24 heures avant de ranger des
a iments à ’intérieur.
P acez es a iments à conge er dans es
compartiments comme indiqué dans a figure.
Pour conge er a quantité de denrées indiquée sur a
p aque d’immatricu ation, i suffit de es mettre
directement en contact avec a surface réfrigérante.

Door reversal directions
1. Disconnect from the e ectricity supp y.
2. Remove a oose items, inc uding food, store
food in a coo p ace.
3. Gent y ay the fridge/freezer on its back with the
top he d away from the f oor by 5-8 cm (2-3
inches) of packing;
4. Remove the feet (3)
5. Remove bottom hinge (1).
6. S ide out the door from pin (G), unscrew the
atter and then screw it down into the hinge
provided on the opposite side, after having
removed the sma p ugs which shou d then be
fitted on the opposite side.
7. Refit the door and bottom hinge (1) on the
opposite side.
8. Refit the feet (3) on the opposite side.
9. Unscrew the hand e. Refit it on the opposite side
after having pierced the p ugs with a punch.
Cover the ho es eft open with the p ugs
contained in the documentation pack.
I portant
After comp etion of the door reversiing operation,
check that the door gasket adheres to the cabinet. If
the ambient temperature is co d (i.e. in Winter), the
gasket may not fit perfect y to the cabinet. In that
case, wait for the natura fitting of the gasket or
acce erate this process by heating up the part
invo ved with a norma hairdrier on a ow setting.

Conservation des produits
surgelés
A a première mise en fonctionnement ou après un
arrêt pro ongé mettez ’apparei en régime de
congé ation et attendez deux heures au moins avant
d’introduire es a iments surge és. Passez ensuite en
régime de conservation.
Attention
En cas de décongélation accidentelle, par
exe ple en cas de coupure de courant, si la
période d’interruption est supérieure à la valeur
du “autono ie, en cas de panne” indiquée dans
le tableau des données techniques, il sera
nécessaire de conso er rapide ent les
ali ents ou de les cuisiner aussitôt et de les
recongeler (après qu’ils ont refroidi).

Dégivrage
Dans e congé ateur, par contre, i faut é iminer e

Pendant que 'on effectue cette opération, i n'est
pas nécessaire de couper e courant ou d'en ever es

effectuer un dégivrage comp et procédez de a
manière suivante:
1. tournez e bouton du thermostat sur a position
«■» ou débranchez ’apparei ;
2. enve oppez es denrées dans p usieurs feui es
de papier journa et conservez- es dans un

3. maintenez a porte ouverte,uti ez a spatu e

Defrosting
The freezer compartment, however, wi become
progressive y covered with frost. This shou d be
removed with the specia p astic scraper provided,
whenever the thickness of the frost exceeds 4 mm.
During this operation it is not necessary to switch off
the power supp y or to remove the foodstuffs.
Never use sharp etal tools to scrape off frost
fro the evaporator as you could da age it.
However, when the ice becomes very thick on the
inner iner, comp ete defrosting shou d be carried out
as fo ows:
1. pu out the p ug from the wa socket or turn the
thermostat knob to the «■» setting;
2. remove any stored food, wrap it in severa ayers
of newspaper and put it in a coo p ace;
3. eave the door open, and insert the p astic
scraper in the appropriate seating at the bottom
centre, p acing a basin underneath to co ect the
defrost water.
4. when defrosting is comp eted, dry the interior
thorough y; keep the scraper for future use;
5. turn the thermostat knob back to the required
setting or rep ace the p ug in the power socket.
6. After two or three hours, re oad the previous y
removed food into the compartment.
MAINTENANCE
Unplug the appliance before carrying out
any aintenance operation.

Periodic cleaning

To he p you make the most of the freezing process,
here are some important hints:
• the maximum quantity of food which can be
frozen in 24 hrs. is shown on the rating p ate;
• the freezing process takes 24 hours. No further
food to be frozen shou d be added during this
period;

c eaned, foodstuffs;
• prepare food in sma portions to enab e it to be
rapid y and comp ete y frozen and to make it
possib e subsequent y to thaw on y the quantity

and make sure that the packages are airtight;

Thawing
Deep-frozen or frozen food, prior to being used, can
be thawed in the refrigerator compartment or at
room temperature, depending on the time avai ab e
for this operation.

Ice-cube production
This app iance is equipped with one or more trays
for the production of ice-cubes. Fi these trays with
water, then put them in the freezer compartment.
Do not use etallic instru ents to re ove the
trays fro the freezer.
Freezing fresh food
The 4-star compartment is suitab e for
ong term storage of commercia y frozen food, and
for freezing fresh food.
To freeze fresh foods turn the fast freezing knob at
east 24 hours before introducing the food into the
freezer in order to ensure better freezing resu ts.
P ace the food to be frozen in the compartment as

In order to freeze the quantity indicated on the rating
p ate, arrange the food direct y in contact with the
coo ing surfaces. If the food is frozen in the baskets,

due to a power failure, if the power has been off
for longer that the value shown in the technical
characteristics chart under “rising ti e”, the

Frozen food storage
When the freezer is being turned on for the first time,
or after a pro onged period of disuse, turn the N/S
knob to the Quick-freezing position and then wait at
east two hours before introducing the food to be
conserved.You may then return the knob to the «N»
position. This two-hour waiting period may be
avoided if the freezer has a ready been in operation.

Installation
• During norma operation, the condenser and
compressor at the back of the app iance heat up
considerab y. For safety reasons, minimum
venti ation must be as shown in the instructions.
Attention: keep ventilation openings clear of
obstruction.
• Care must be taken to ensure that the app iance
does not stand on the e ectrica supp y cab e.
I portant: if the supp y cord is damaged, it must
