Mirror Demister with Heat Foil Element
Installation Guide and Product Care
INSTALLATION PROCESS
Before installing DEMISTER make sure the back of the mirror is totally clean and dry.
If there is any grease use a cloth with an alocohol based solution to clean it.
Preparation
It is recommended the DEMISTER is installed at a minimum ambient temperature of 15°C.
The electrical connection must comply with regulations.
The lm must be protected from scratches resulting from the use of metal objects such as cutters and knives.
If the power cable is damaged, do not change or repair it: the whole DEMISTER must be replaced.
Simple installation
Centre the DEMISTER with the paper side facing downards towards
the back of the mirror. Use adhesive tape to x the demister in position as shown.
At the opposite end to the where the adhesive tape has been placed, peel the paper
side facing the back of the mirror and begin to pull it away from the lm
As the paper is removed apply pressure to the whole of the outwards facing surface of
the demister to attach it to the back of the mirror.
Completely remove the adhesive tape and the protected paper, pressing strongly
against the lm on the back of the mirror in order to avoid air bubbles from forming

Qualied electricians must be used to introduce electrical connections and the electric supply of the device ac-
cording to regulations. The warranty is invalid if a qualied electrician does not install the device. Before installa-
tion, testing or replacing the thermostat swicth o all power. Only use plastic electrical wall mounting boxes for
the thermostat installation. Ensure that the sensor can be placed into and removed from the corrugated
tube (Ø 16mm); once during installation of the tubing and again before installation of the oor nish.
SAFETY AND WARRANTY
In case of failure during the warranty period, please contact the UFH Supplies. The manufacturer guarantees the
conformity of the heating mat with the design description, assuming compliance with the assembly and
operating instructions. Warranty period – 2 years from date of purchase.
In case of a failure during guarantee period casued by a manufacturing defect, the customer has the right to
supplementary performance. The warranty does not cover any damages due to inadequate handling, dama-
ges through a third party, wrong installation (not following the manual) or its consequential damages. The sales
receipt must be provided for any warranty claims.
